In the previous video we made a Performance with a one Part, an acoustic piano, and we assigned Volume and Reverb to two Assignable Knobs. The goal we set ourselves in this video is:
    1. Add Part 2 to the Performance, with a Fender Rhodes sound.
    2. Assign Common Knob 2 to control the volume of Part 2.
    3. Assign the Super Knob to control the volume of Parts 1 and 2 simultaneously. However, for Part 1 we'll do this reversed such that when we rotate the Super Knob to the right the volume of the piano lowers, while the volume of the Fender Rhodes increases. This is called 'morphing'.
    4. We want to leave Part 1 Reverb on Assigned Knob 4 untouched by the Super Knob so we can control this separately.

What confuses me is at 6:45 onwards you're assigning Part 2 vol to knob 1 (as you did for Part 1, the acoustic piano). So both volumes should be assigned to Knob 1?
So I'm missing how we end up with volume assigned to knob 2?

I am confused also. You set part 1 volume in the part edit and the part 2 volume in the common edit? I just don't get it. Then you add knob 2 to the super knob. I really don't get it.

@@idemditto First he assigned part 2 volume to knob 1 at the PART 2 level (then all knobs only affect this part). Next, he assigned knob 2 at the COMMON level to control knob 1 (volume) of PART 1. This common level assignment then allows to you control the volume of part 2 (and 1) with the Superknob (always at COMMON level).
