Absolutely fantastic.
People waking up.
too little, too late
Yes, Ian's misinformation is fantastic as he show that he hasn't got a clue what he talking about.
Ian was awake some time ago. Read his book "AIR CON " from 2009, that's how many years ago ? He was right then and even more so now
@chrismckellar9350 really ? Have you read his book and fact checked the information there in ?
@@calstonjewwhy do you think the targets are moving into the future…. ?
I can assure you that the answer to my question is not “lack of ambition”.
Follow the money.
And the yellow brick road.
Blackrocks agenda .
Ian's 100% correct .The 1800's was extremely turbulent with large storms and floods from 1850 -1890's.
Good work Mr Wishart & Mr Plunket. I’m sure this will be on One News tonight & 3 Stuffed news.
But don’t hold your breath
Their unbiased reporting will no doubt match that of RNZ.
Stuff announced years ago that it wasn’t going to print anything that contradicted climate change and created a section just for CC. That’s when I deleted their app and never read their news again.
I recently saw a group of young niwa operators launching a 150,000 boat from a100 grand land cruiser, wearing top quality outdoor clothing, it looked like a great day out and no doubt these kids are on 150,000 a year, no wonder they want to perpetuate the bullcrap its a great lurk for them.
Good observation! Who is greasing the wheels? The W.E.F? It gives climate-control a whole new meaning!
Land cruisers now up dated to $170000 Chev soon they will be running in Rolls Royces
We bought a truck from Niwa, water damage, it ended up in the tide when they were trying to launch one of their flash boats. Plonkers.
Think it's dodge rams 2500 haha
In terms of extreme weather, how would the 1975 Canterbury storm be described? In less than a day a northerly system belted down over the Alps and 170kph winds knocked flat every tree from about Hawarden to Balmoral. The damage was enormous, and the rows of stumps and splintered timber bulldozed into place lasted for a generation.
We just called it a storm.
Yep ,still remember that day vividly, remember riding round the farm on the motorbike with dad counting trees, we lost over 400 pine trees. No one called it climate change.
ditto Wahine storm ,no seen anything as bad since ,1968
What about the snow storm that blanketed Christchurch in the early 90’s. Was that CC? What about the big storms in 1976 that caused severe flooding and damage to Wellington and the Hutt. What about the 1968 storm that was described as one of the worst in history that sunk the Wahini. Yeah CC scaremongers we’re too stupid to remember the massive storms that have ravaged New Zealand over the years. Well the young are anyway
@@robsnep5447 What about the Dec '76 wellington flood?
@@1magnit yes of course ,I should have remembered that one ,very close to home ,not seen anything since and that was almost 50 years ago
A+ Media. Here at Platform 🌹Thank you Sean 👍🌹Thank you Ian Wishart 👍🌹 Keep up . Amazing Truth . You are the Man to follow Ian . For Climate facts.
Here's the micro politics of it: does NIWA's excessive zeal to support the climate catastrophe paradigm mean that it has functioned as a partisan and factional ally of the Greens? Is there a better explanation for Chloe grilling the minister in estimates week in that otherwise inexplicable exchange where she demanded 5 times that the government assure her that cuts to NIWA's funding and staff would not mean loss of access to some sort of "truth" in policy-relevant data?
I saw it, and the exchange was so bizarre I thought why on earth is she going in so hard to protect NIWA?
she is going hard bc she knows that they are going after the climate stooge fanatics that they embedded into NIWA, they compromised a number of actual environmental groups like greenpeace and have corrupted them to suit their own bent needs.
Because NIWA has become a political climate tool for her, and she is wanting to ensure her flow of narrative affirming data does not dry up. They are bought and paid for to provide specific data for the climate people. I can guarantee any scientist that is qualified but does not align ideologically with them will not be part of that organisation. Another example of government or big business influencing the science.
When is the government going to abolish NIWA. why do we have two weather forcasters
They never will, they operate and fund it.
Just as they did with the Cass Review they will ignore the evidence and carry on regardless.
Every thing is selected to support the narrative.
Which is why I have trouble watching mainstream news, and why they are loosing their viewership.
Like a suspender selected to support fish-net stockings.
Mainstream media is news dressed in drag...fake!
They were losing it 20 years ago give and take. But there is always a fresh pool of people who know no better...as I once didn't know 25-45 years ago. It's hard to tell who is more voracious for power, fame, money, for NO real value to our society: media, or politicians.
@@user-um1wr2fg8x Bang on that theroy we have clear data on
Good man. (Both of you)
Ian, keep up the pressure.
They know they are wrong!! But they will reference the kernel of truth to keep “selling” the big lie!
The artic ice is supposed to not be there now. Polar bear numbers should be insignificant almost to the point of extinction. Sea water levels should be so high water front real estate prices should be a dollar an acre. The great barrier reef coral bleaching should to such an extent that it is hard to find any live coral at all. Instead the reverse of all these "indicators" is true.
Polar Bears are about 5 times what they were in the 1970s. We saved them already.
Toxic chloe wont like any truths coming out.....
Chloe...The co-leader of the Green around the gills Party.
She is toxic because of all the medications she's on.
Now, apply all that to covid and the jab Sean.
Won't happen mate as Sean to far gone.
Exactly!
Absolutely right sean has not seen the truth about covid yet and kuving i delusion land.

@@Ricky-nq7lu in light of international evidence struggling to the surface Sean is by his own definition is a COOKER. I could forgive Sean for being wrong, but, he'll never forgive us for being right.
Stop interrupting him Sean. Ian’s the best investigative journalist in NZ and perhaps the southern hemisphere
The best? How many are there?
Don’t fear global warming fear global cooling
Fear global population collapse.
spot on IAIN .they conveniately forgot cyclone bola etc etc many years ago.long before the climate rubbish
This is what I keep saying we haven't had a storm close to the power of cyclone bola for over 35 yrs
Increase planet warming was happening in the 19th century so it show how clueless Ian Wishart is.
@@chrismckellar9350 Didn't you get the Memo, the rest of your ilk stopped calling it "global warming" years ago in favor of the more ambiguous term "climate change". Those who, unlike yourself, have done their homework on this... know what a scam it is! Thank you for your efforts exposing the lies surrounding this, Ian Wisheart. NIWA have NO credibility left.
@@chrismckellar9350 the planet has been warming incremental for centuries since the peak of the last ice age, fun fact, we are still technically in that ice age 🤣
@@zweed69 - You people really like your misinformation. Yes the planet does have natural cooling and warming cycles that happens of a long period of time by not a rapid rise in warming since the mid 18th century when the global population was approx. 800 millions to 2024 where the global population is approx 8.1 billion.
Ian is one of the best 👌 keep up the great work Ian 👏 👍
There are many major storm events on the East Coast, N. Island going back many years. There was a major flood in the Esk Valley in 1938, it's well documented. Previous to that there were several major weather events of a similar nature. Very poor reporting by the press and cover up by NIWA.
Yes, how do they think that topsoil got there in the first place , it was from historic floods.
NIWA is a government owned, operated and funded organization. Do I sense a conflict of interests here?
It duplicates what already exist
if I was the minister I would be pissed off about this
But the minister has to keep the con going...or face the blackmail. He like all the rest of the gutless ... won't think his pay rate is high enough.
@@PeteThecurious100 They ministers are only selected if they are corruptible.
The
Cyclone Gabrielle was an accident, basically what happened is the cyclone hit a very big High Pressure system and followed the track of that system which led it to the East Coast of the North Island. If the High Pressure system was weaker it would have missed the North Island all together. The real reason why Climate Change exists is mainly due to the advertising of it by AL Gore, who said at the very start one thing that stands out "Carbon Tax". Another form of taxation, which Jullian Assange has mentioned about the oligarchs effort to bleed the tax bases of the world through all means necessary.
Dose that mean we are being taxed to oblivion?
Maurice Strong a Canadian conjured up the whole scheme, was instrumental in establishing the UN's IPCC. A really nasty piece of work. Seriously, it was to aid his aim to counter population growth through de-industrialisation. Then Gore and others left onto the bandwagon. Deliberate corruption of science and data.
@@SandBox-ik5xq Yep, next step is to tell us, because we have so much debt. That we are unable to deal with finances responsibly and need people with expertise to do that for us. So the idea is to take away our unlimited access to our own money. We can handle that for you and you will be given the bare minimum to survive. and you will be happy (WEF).
Didnt know there were any investigative journalists left, well done!
Fantastic work !
At last people are waking up
We just watch Phillip Duncan's Weather watch channel it is more accurate and often Phillip does take NIWA to task over their forecasting.
Great, now look at New Zealand sea rise, $17 million worth of climate alarmisim.
And counting...
The land rose at Kaikoura after the big quake there but I guess that doesn't count.😉
New Zealand’s on a fault line as is the pacific island so it stands to reason it could be slowly sinking. Can technology pick that up when it’s only mm’s every year and would they tell us if they could
BUT The head of the UN said > We are all going to BOIL to death ... As im chopping more fire wood then ever ?
Dr. Richard Lindzen, Professor Emeritus from Harvard says that if the climate is warming this will lead to fewer violent weather events. This is because the differential between the equator and the poles is less steep. So, either the climate is cooling and storms are getting worse, or the climate is warming and storms are becoming less severe.
yes its warming has been for 2.6million years common knowledge we are still in an ice age although this is considered an interglacial period
the poles are warming faster than the equator due to more weather, e.g. moving clouds, melting snow cover etc, on the face of it this would seem to indicate more weather is correlated with climate warming, not less
@@kungfutzu3779
The arctic had a 23% larger ice spread this winter season and Antarctic has record low temperatures. Global ‘warming’, sorry, ‘boiling’?
@@stephentoner2902 well perhaps there is cooling instead of warming but my post was addressed at the (possibly hypothetical) question of IF there is global warming then what is the implication for incidence of extreme weather events
@@kungfutzu3779 That is exactly Dr. Lindzen's point. As the poles become relatively warmer, this ameliorates weather conditions, resulting in less fierce winds for example.
This hiding or ignoring of statistical information seems to be going on a lot recently......
Genesis 8 verse 22:
While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
No more money for NIES
That would put an end to the 'climate change gravy train'. Buh bye chloester, buh bye greens, buh bye shysters, buh bye (smoke)screens.
History does not exist when big Dollars are involved. Happens all to frequently, The Great Money grab!
Hi Sean. Would you consider having Professor Ian Plimer (climatologist). He has a UA-cam clip called the truth about Net Zero, and he has written books about it. Also can we investigate cloud seeding?
Why are we surprised? Properganda!!
What is happening with the cleanup of Patea freezing works Nikau holdings were paid by the key govt in 2008,then there was a fire at the asbestos ridden site, the mess is still there, the politicians that are supos🎉ed to rep the locals have been silent.why.was the monies returned as the mess is still there.??? Discusting
Yes Sean...its a whole lot of BS as you say....its all about money ...money...money....its a rich mans world....m
Just cause we give it all to them, time we stopped
Conveniently it's a new government now so will the previous government take any accountability?
Haha HAHAHA
A lot of Americans in NIWA... just saying.
Headed by the insufferable Chris Brandolino. That guy loves seeing himself on TV.
Neither wouldn’t know what happened yesterday
There was a major flood in Auckland in the early 20th Century. The water was knee high down town. I have seen a photo of women with their bicycles standing in the water, outside flooded shops.
Look up Ken Ring. Weather forecaster
Can you actually show Ians data???
Now do chemtrails and weather modification
"What if a small group of world leaders were to conclude that the principal risk to the Earth comes from the actions of the rich countries?... In order to save the planet, the group decides: Isn't the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn't it our responsibility to bring that about?" - Maurice Strong (First Director of the United Nations Environment Program)
Is it not amazing how the Malthusians understand this so well.
If one did not know better one would think there is a conspiracy in the offing. “Effing” actually sounds better when one comments about Climate Change Alarmism.
Maurice Strong was commissioned by the Rockefeller family to write the first charter on climate-change (or Green House Effect as it used to be known) and he was explicitly told not to mention the sun!
Link the report please
As it happens, there are other example of NIWA misleading private and public agencies - I am happy to share if someone contact me directly...
yes please
@@kungfutzu3779 how do we trade ph numbers?
Smile Ian
An ice age would be worse than a bit of warm weather.
You should look up the founder of geen peace speech of late say same thing re low carbon
Methane Mania: Methane’s like CO2’s little sibling-super dramatic but not nearly as impactful. It’s got a 30x stronger radiative effect but only 300x less increase. Net result? Methane’s impact on global warming is like a tiny fart in a windstorm.
Mining Madness: Green tech sounds cool until you realize mining for lithium, copper, nickel, and cobalt is like trashing your house to make a shiny new gadget. And yes, electric vehicles aren’t that green when you look at their whole lifecycle-from mining to scrapping.
History Channel: Earth’s CO2 levels have been on a rollercoaster for millions of years, averaging 2,600 ppm compared to today’s puny 400 ppm. So, relax, CO2’s just part of Earth’s wild ride.
Sun Shenanigans: The sun’s mood swings have a huge impact on our climate. Cooler in the 1600s? Blame the sun. Warmer in the 1700s and 1900s? Yep, the sun again.
Stormy Stats: NOAA says no rise in hurricanes or cyclones in 50 years. Major tornadoes? Steady since 1954. Wildfires? Nope, not increasing since 1970. Talk about a lot of hot air!
Water Vapor Wonders: Water vapor’s the king of greenhouse gases at 95%, making CO2 look like a tiny sidekick at under 4%.
Coal Comeback: Germany’s back on coal, and Sri Lanka’s broke thanks to green policies. Green dreams, harsh realities.
Tiny CO2 Trouble: Human activities contribute only 4% of atmospheric CO2. Methane’s so rare it’s almost a ghost in the climate machine.
El Niño & La Niña: These party crashers make a huge climate mess, but the media’s too busy with doomscrolling to notice.
Net Zero, Zero Impact?: Cutting CO2 to zero by 2050 will barely nudge global temps. Thousands of scientists say, “No climate emergency here!”
Oldie but Goodie: Most U.S. heat records were set in the 1930s. Recent years? Not much hotter. So much for global grilling.
Battery Bummers: Renewable energy batteries trash the environment. Recycling? Hardly happening.
Model Madness: Climate models often miss the mark by over-focusing on CO2 and ignoring solar shenanigans. Reality’s much wilder.
Volcano Vibes: Volcanic eruptions dramatically alter the climate. Remember the Tonga eruption in 2022? It led to crazy rain and flooding in Australia and New Zealand.
Skeptical Scientists: Many experts, including from NASA and NOAA, doubt the human-caused climate crisis. Thousands have signed petitions saying, “No emergency here!”
Thanks, great expansion on my comment. All stacks up with my extensive reading of the science. Tip of my resources are Dr Ian Ball's "The Deliberate Corruption of Climate Science", and his part in "Slaying the Sky Dragon" written with 7 other scientists. As you'd know there's much more!
Amazing the narrative is allowed on this platform.

Sick eh Sean , maybe you need another booster huh
Well well, Sean is questioning if there are appointed scientists taking public money to hide data that is inconvenient to the political agenda. You sound like a cooker Sean.😂
Who pointed Wishart to this late 19th century storm data? Indeed it is very problematic if scientists are allowing a 'point of view' (or a belief) to colour their advice.
Wishart, however, may have misunderstood or misinterpreted this data he is describing. I'd like comment from someone with a solid background in this. Perhaps even the person or persons who alerted him to it.
Simple reality is that past climate extremes make anything we see or our great grandkids will see look like peanuts. Try 100+ metres sea rise and fall. Try 5-12 degrees C warmer. No polar ice caps for 85% of earth's existence. CO2 normally 3-5 but up to 12 times higher (no cars needed). Or New York under a mile of ice. Pray things won't get colder!

Keep up with all your boosters sean save granny ,

Hmmmm. Read through the comments. I see a lot of conspiracists. Complaining isn't the way to get heard.
...complains about the comments, wants to get heard. 🤦
The conspiracy being to brainwash politicians and the masses that human emitted CO2 is the driver of unusual climate change.
