Who doesn't love some nostalgic vibes... The song encapsulates the fleeting time and reminds us we're not so young anymore. Yet, when we look back and think of all those memories we've made, there's a smile on our faces without fail. There's some sadness in us for sure, cause that time has passed. But we feel grateful most of all, cause we were so fortunate, that it has happened to us. Have a great day, all you beautiful people!

This song is a masterpiece. Iconic. A treasure. Nothing could ever ruin this for me. No matter whoever tried to put their own spin into it. I will always comeback to listen & fall in love w/this song (by Sixpence None The Richer) & movie, over & over again. Meeting Leigh Nash was one of the highlights of my life.

I was born in 1983 and was in high school 96 to 2000. I remember this girl Amy that i had the huge crush on when i had my glow up. I walked 45 mins to her house on a Saturday for us to watch this this together and rest was set in stone for a few years. Everytime i hear this song or see anything about this film, i forget all about the bs in my life and go back to one night of innocent love in 1999. Its a good feeling. Nothing like being young and in love.
If i could go back in time, I would choose the 90s. Best decade of humanity so far where technology and tradition perfectly blended and people still had innocence and simplicity in them

Zach was initially in it for the bet, but when he saw just how beautiful and vulnerable Lainey was he realized it was wrong. He gradually fell in love with her and that's why he was pissed when his friend betrayed him. But, then she didn't even give him a chance to explain. 2:15 *This* is how people actually used to do their everyday makeup in the 90s. Not the ultra thin brows and glittery everything you see in youtube tutorials and such. Nah, the hairdresser in this movie did a shoddy job leaving her forehead all exposed in the scenes where she was NOT wearing glasses. OR they actually did that on purpose to make it seem she was more "natural" with glasses. Either way, it's just the hair.

She’s all that is peak cinema.
I am from the same age group as the actors here - Gen X. I remember the song and the film well. It was a big hit. I had no worries, was young and free. Enjoy life because time flies by quickly.
I feel exactly the same and couldn't say better...
The glasses fit her perfectly. I'd even say she looks worse without them.
I second that.
Nah, the hairdresser in this movie did a shoddy job leaving her forehead all exposed in the scenes where she was NOT wearing glasses. OR they actually did that on purpose to make it seem she was more "natural" with glasses. Either way, it's just the hair.
No glasses fit better on a persons face than the one and only Lisa Loeb.
What? Worse without her glasses? Blasphemy! HERESY!!
With or without, she is fine! Recant your error or atone for it, miscreants!!
girls with glasses ftw
Rachael's so pretty here & this song. Freddie prinze & 90s ❤ just nostalgic.
I loved this movie. Racheal Lee Cook was a gorgeous supermodel then as well as now. Great movie.
I saw this with my girlfriend and friends back in HS. I had to pretend I didn’t like it. Lol I got no problem today saying I loved this damn movie.
I wasn´t even born in those years, but that song reminds me to my childhood
