There it is. I think this is the video that's gonna make me buy a Grandmother.
Update: it worked!
@@llcoolpete Hows it going?
I know what my next keyboard is going to be, thanks!
man this is great, the grandmother sounds like a warm blanket I’m just sinking into
Thank you man! ;)
This was simply delightful!
I just bought 2 of these today because they are becoming unavailable (Dark Edition), and the news about Moog today, I would scoop up whatever I could now...... Once inventory is gone, no more original Moogs....... I picked up a Minitaur as well...... Had my eye on it for months and today pushed me over the fence LOL!!! I need some MOOG in my synth studio anyway so I look at this like win win and if the synth markets continues to be like it has been, then I may some nice pieces that aren't available anymore...
what is that separate gadget you are using with GM ?
DJ Techtools Midifighter Twister (MIDI controller) - bit.ly/miditwisterblk 😊
I have a Moog grandmother black edition as well. You need to explain what the secondary piece of hardware that you are attaching the Moog to is and what is its purpose. otherwise people interested in buying a Moog grandmother or people who already bought one are going to be very confused and not able to produce the same sounds you are if the secondary piece of equipment is aiding in this example. I don’t get why people on UA-cam do this without explaining everything. Honestly if you’re going to review and sample a product it should be raw considering that people watching your video or not going to have the same equipment you do outside of the main product.
Sure, that's why I also record raw sound movies and put a recording chain in the description of each movie. The second device is just the reverb and delay controller from the description, no big deal.
@@MrCard I’m sorry, what I said was uncalled for.
@@ChrisTopheRaz no problem! Feel free to follow my films :)
Wow, this is great, the amount of FX you're blending is so perfect, and those melodies are so soothing, love it🙌
this black version is extremly sexy
Great!Where is the reverb from?

Beautiful!
This jam sounds awesome!
This video inspired me so much I just bought my first Grandmother, can't wait for it! :)
Great!! :) I wish you a lot of thick sounds!
@@MrCard haha thanks man! I was almost going to buy the Matriarch but the Grandmother is half the price and I am going to get a Minilogue XD for poly synth chords etc. I think the two will blend nicely.
Great duo. Good luck! :)
Ever heard Glass Eyes by Radiohead? If not, check out the opening arpeggios. Regardless, nice sounds!
i am still torn between this and a subsequent 37
A difficult choice. Depends on purpose and taste.
@@MrCard went with Grandmother.
what is the instrument on the right side ?
This is a MIDI controller - Dj Techtools Midi Twister. ;)
@@MrCard hi! are you controlling Valhalla Supermassive with this midi? or controlling the grandmother?
This sounds lovely. i wish there were more midi controller's for vsts that looks a bit like hardware effect modules. like the lovely boutique pedals, but instead of io, its just midi usb
Very simple yet very powerful enjoyed that immensely.
Beautiful tones , love it.
Super nice! Bravo!
Oh my goodness bro, this is just so beautiful. Definitely gotta get me this by end of this month. I feel like im being cradled hearing these sounds😂.
I am very happy Alexis! Enjoy! :)
@@MrCard :) 😎👊🏼
OK but you have to question what other equipment he is using here. I have a Moog grandmother and watching this video confuses me because I don’t have that secondary piece of equipment he is using to produce this video
@@ChrisTopheRaz As I wrote in another comment, the record chain is in the description, it's reverb and delay controller, no big deal. ;) The only limit is our imagination!
Hello, love your video. But tell me why’s your mood grandmother black, and when I want to buy like your version all I see is a blue-greenish mood synthétiser?
Hi, thank you!! :) This is a limited black version, no longer in production.
Lovely! Subbed and will look forward to more of your vids. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!
Thanks for nice words and following! ;)
wow so good
Lovely sounds! Love the grandmother. What camera are you using to record the video, if i may ask? Cheers!
Thank you Fillip! :) I use GH3. Cheers!
Fantastic demonstration of this beast💚
You took me to a place I NEEDED to go. THANK YOU. keep on keeping on.:-)
Great! Thanks :)
Awesome video! Question, why hold the keys when you could just use the Hold button and free up your other hand?
Thank you! ;) I change notes in progression, so I prefer to have physical contact. A different feeling.
@@MrCard I definitely understand that. You performed well and evoked the mood effectively with your progressions.
Beautiful
Love the sound😍
lovely
Perfect!!
Great music 👍
Beautiful! Thank you for the sample pack. :)
Enjoy! :)
Great video and beautiful sound
Thank you Romano! :)
Magic Music 🥰
this is amazing
This is amazing Mr. Card. I have a powerful pc and I've been playing around with FL studio for a few weeks now. I want to have something physical to play around with to create meditative ambient scapes. If I buy the Grandmother do I need some extra gear like a reverb machine or other pieces to create these atmospheric scenes? Thanks in advance.
Thank you for nice words! I think you need a great sound source (like Grandmother) and very good reverb. Get started with the free Valhalla Supermassive. This is a powerful duo! If this is not enough for you, think about a polyphonic synthesizer. :)
@@MrCard Thank you for the tips 🙏 sounds great. I have the Valhalla plug-in, it’s stunning. Looking at the Korg Wavestate as well at the moment. Will decide soon, thanks!
@@thejazzjaime Hope you will find your set-up! :)
@@thejazzjaime Try combining Walrus audio (pedal) reverb + Moog grandmother ;)
Wonderful sound 👏🏾👏🏾
Thanks! :)
Very nice! 🎹🎶
Thank you Dave! 👍
Sounds amazing. What is the knobby box you have there and what are you controlling with it?
Thank you! :) This is Dj Techtools Midi Fighter Twister. I'm controlling the reverb decay and mix (dry/wet).
damn this sounds great. I've been mulling this thing over for weeks now. would you recommend as a first synth to own?
Thank you for nice words! :) Korg Minilogue offers the most options in terms of price. ;)
