one thing I like about jags, and british luxury cars in general is that there are so fewer of them on the road in comparison to german luxury cars. and it's always nice to have something that isn't already had by everyone else
Jaguar are more robust build though. Look up engine failure statistics. Audi failure rate - 3.71% Jaguar failure rate - 0.98% The other Germans, BMW and VW, finished in the bottom 10 as well.
I have around 15k on it now. It is my daily driver and I have had no issues. Another great feature is the new Warranty which covers everything including wear and tear, maint, and oil changes for up to 50k miles. When Tata Motors took over, they did a complete overhaul and all seems well. Ford really jacked up Jag when it came to looks and reliability. When it comes to price point, features, luxury, and power, there is nothing out there that can touch it.
I would have to agree with Roman. The A7 is perhaps the best looking of the year. Ive seen it on the freeway in SoCal and the thing is gorgeous. The in-dash monitor is just brilliant.
Personally, I dislike the looks of the A7 and love the looks of the A6. The new BMW 6 Gran Coupe is the most beautiful four door couple out of the bunch. Between these two I would take the Jag over the A7. My best sedan pick would have to be the CTS-V. Oh, how I love that car and you guys did a great job with this video. WRX Owner
The A7 has been getting a lot of praise. Not a bad thing, I guess I thought there wasn't a space for such a car in the line up. Good for Audi. They're hot right now. Although I do have a soft spot for Jaguar. I like their designs and performance. And that they aren't as "common." Both are great cars.

@TheAustinFleming Please don’t misunderstand me; the CTS-V is an excellent car. The Jaguar is more comfortable, refined and has a different presence. It should be noted that the CTS-V does have a manual transmission option - which I will choose every time. The Jaguar XFR does not. In the end, the Jaguar simply feels more sophisticated. I personally own a 2011 XFR and I can attest that it is not only more luxuries, it is badder and meaner. These are the cars that I test drove: 2011 A7, CTSv, and BMW M5. I chose the Jag due to its all leather interior, the suede like headliner, the awesome supercharged motor, and the prowess that it presents. After driving the Jag and see the real wood, awesome Jag smell, wrapped leather everything, getting in an Audi felt like a cheap Japanese Acura TL.
Roman - I couldn't agree with you any more. The A7 is a wonderful machine - it soaks up highway miles with ease and drives in the street with a mean attitude. I remember sitting in this car and like you said it just makes you feel special and that at the end of the day is all that matters
hi, just some friendly criticism here..i visited your website and thought it was very professional, user friendly, and nice looking in terms of design(i know a lot about these things because my father owns an advertising agency). How ever i do think when it comes to your youtube videos, they could use some more work when it comes to editing and camera work. I think with those tweaks it will up the quality of your channel greatly. this is just my opinion.
It took a long time for me to figure out which car to get but at the end of a very exhaustive search i went ahead and ordered the a7 over the a6/bmw's/lexus/jags. You just can't beat this car in terms of styling and looks and "value" over the other luxury sport brands - I guess it's a personal and emotional decision but for me the A7 is one of the best cars out there period.

Now that you both made me sick you get to drive any car you want and play like that I must say the A-7 as well. I live in the North East and I need a little more traction. But I am sure that 550 HP would make anyone feel special. Only if you could be Ticket Exempt! I was not an AUDI fan boy until the last 4 years and they just keep getting nicer and nicer. This is one of the toughest times to choose a car. Gas prices aside there R many EXCELLENT choices for a change. Thank you Roman & Nathan.

@sw1000xg Yeah the Ford GT that i own and have never had a problem. It's funny how he's the only person that has had a serious problem on the GT. Also how many 40+year old European cars do you see still running? There are plenty of American built cars still on the road today that were built in 1920's - 1970's through today. Using the original power trains. Many of them can be found right here on UA-cam.
That's a 2011 XFR, they should have used the facelifted model. As for the guy below that say's the interior quality of the Jag is crap and his kept breaking down, have you not seen the JD Power results recently? Jag is beating all the big German marques and is right up there with Lexus.
I get your obsession with the Audi A6 and A7. You've made plenty enough videos about them. The reason no one races Audi sedans is because no one but you cares. Compared to Mustangs and Camaros, the Audi A6 and A7 are relatively unexciting cars. That is not to say they aren't nice. But if I really want a car to race in I will take a Camaro ZL1 1LE or Shelby GT350R any day. If you want an Audi to race in then the R8 GT is your ride, but you better have deep, deep pockets.
audi r8 is a supercar and the jagg is a luxury saloon, in case you didnt know, so alot of people would take an audi r8 over it but what about the upcoming jaguar CX-75 -with the help of williams F1- which will be in another league compared to the audi
The audio has nice lines... but some dimensions remind you it's off a bit on a 4 door coup styling. The jag looks still inspires 10 years on. There is no other 4 door coupe that compares. All other are 4 door square back sedans.
The S7 is 2013 model, the XFR is 2011. Back when they did this "test", the S7 wasn't available. I don't know what the "competition" is up to now, but if they did this video now (or just a tad later), there's the new RS7 coming... :)
I agree. I have an 2013 A4, and though it looks very nice, I don't like my driving experience. I'm going back to BMW as soon as some good offers come up.

There is nothing wrong with an Audi S7 I like it although I saw one and it made me confused. It had the emblem that said, "Supercharged" on the side but then I saw the rear end that said, "3.0T" on it. Is it supercharged or turbocharged?! which one is it?! Both?!
@sw1000xg In a factory owned by Ford. Ford is an international company, so they build engines all over the world. It is still a Ford owned factory no matter where it is located. Tata has yet to start their own manufacturing plant for the engine. When they do it will be a Tata engine, no matter where the engine is built.
@sw1000xg You need to do some research because all current Jaguars and Land Rovers were pretty much designed by Ford-employed engineers and designers. The current engines are BASED on Ford designs. Super car maker Koenigsegg also uses Ford architecture in the design of their Modular engines. Because they are very reliable and capable of making a big power.
Cars of this category are all performance cars. But not all performance cars a great looking cars. The A7 will get most of the attention on the road. For every day driving, looks matter more than performance.

@sw1000xg But the motors are based on Ford engines that were designed by FORD. Note that reliability for the Jaguar brand was horrible until Ford took over. Customer satisfaction went from horrible to excellent under Ford. So i think it's fair to say that Jaguar would have gone out of business in 89 it it weren't for Ford.

Jaguar is the name of the class and it does not have any competition... well Mercedes is only comparable to it. Jaguar build up his name and makes it luxurious from the very first XJ from 1968. And compare Audi cars and Jaguar cars from 80's and 90's. Audi made some new shiny wheels, and interior, so that became class... And everybody wants to drive it now, but who wanted it 30-40 years ago?
Hmm, must admit I do not like the current styling of Audi's in general. They all kinda reminds me of my 83 year dad when he decided to wear a baseball cap backwards. Additionally, and this is important when I buy a car. Who I see driving it, and truthfully, I have never seen anyone driving an A7 who looks like they still have a pulse! The Jag on the other hand, styling, well its grown on me over the years and I do think its the best looking in class but they are just incredible to drive.

the jag may be faster but its exterior is in no way even close to as nice (especially compared to the front of the audi). And if you want a more powerful a7 then get an s7 or rs7
@fitz207 There built and designed by British employed JAGUAR engineers! Ford OWNED them did not BUILD them! The parts are souced from Ford and BUILT again by Jaguar engineers! There is a huge difference when a company is owned by another that company still uses it's own engineers!
That jaguar now in the uk is £18,000 5litre engine. 18k. My dad has the s8 and he test drives them both and he said the s8 was faster and better handling. Should of gone with an a8

I've seen about 6 of these cars within 7 months. Whenever you see them it's such a nice sight. Didn't like it at first, but it really grew on me. It's lines are so appealing, the interior is awesome. I personally love it in darker colors with a tanned interior. Another thing that makes this car awesome is the exclusivity, it's so rare. @SeregaCh, the Jaguar is nice too but who gives a damn if it gives you good looks. The A7 is a better choice imo. Sexiest 4 doors on the market.

I've seen about 6 of these cars within 7 months. Whenever you see them it's such a nice sight. Didn't like it at first, but it really grew on me. It's lines are so appealing, the interior is awesome. I personally love it in darker colors with a tanned interior.
Another thing that makes this car awesome is the exclusivity, it's so rare.
@SeregaCh, the Jaguar is nice too but who gives a damn if it gives you good looks. The A7 is a better choice imo. Sexiest 4 doors on the market.
