I think BMW's rival to the A7 would be the 6 Series Gran Coupe; not necessarily the 5 Series GT.
This car is rock solid - total blast to drive - the bmw gran 6 i saw it at the auto show and it doesn't look anything too different from the 6 or 5 series to justify paying more money for. As for me, I can't wait to see if it's worth upgrading from the a7 to the s7

it actually make sense why they made it backwards. you see on the mmi screen, there is a curved line on the side. You are suppose to spin the way how the curve goes
When your coffee mug flew out of the cup holder @ 2:44 my heart stopped for a moment but resumed when I realized there was no coffee in it

@oldschool1 Think so? Generally I see more premium brands in that lot than anywhere. A lot of business owners shop there. One of the managers drives a silver Mercedes CLS, it's there very time I go to do the TP test.

Yes its different than expected. But there is a half circle line on the left in menu. Just think of it beeing the left part of the mmi wheel and by turning left youre putting an imaginary poninter (like volume on stereos) downwards or turning right upwards. This works for me, though i agree they should make it changeable in setup. Kind of like apple cut & paste files or maximize window ...
@AfrikaaBombeetza I prefer Audi, only because I like the sleek muscular styling. I've accepted that if you buy a German car, most likely your going to spend more on the upkeep. They can last long, but you really have to take good care of them. For example, an oil change on the s4 costs about $150, these engines have to be pampered. That's the price you pay for superior performance I guess.

I'm with you, Tom. We have a Q7 and the MMI knob does have to be spun backwards when when scrolling through the menus. I thought I'd get used to it after two years but I haven't yet. It reminds me of playing a video game with the controller inputs reversed. Pity Audi can't see putting a scrolling option in the SETUP menu somewhere.
@DirtDobber1337 S7 V8 twin turbo 450hp and there probably be an RS7 model with lets say around 600hp if they decide to make an RS model for this one, too bad this US version does not have the double clutch gear box we get in europe

@AfrikaaBombeetza Lol. German cars in general tend to have lots of electronic issues. My dad owns a foreign car repair shop and the two brands always there are Benz and BMW. He always tells me not to get a German car unless you have a warranty. I'm biased towards Audi, I think they look the best, but all three brands need to improve their reliability.
It's one of those "is it just me?" things you have to think about when writing about a car. Once my kids said it was backwards I figured it had to be so. Yes, would be nice if that was in the menu to be changed.
As of the 2013, Audi has a 5 passenger option in the A7/S7 (A7 with a V8).
Incorrect. Only the A7 has 5 seats. S7/RS7 have 4 seats.

If you're going to criticize someone you don't know for being poorly educated (and therefore, by implication, undeserving of a nice car), it's best that you don't write sentences such as "....unless they make over 100k a year which gives everyone to be a manager at Costco..."

prlly the store manager. they make a fuckton, also spouses income. and maybe investments. also education/exp is required for this position. my local costco is in a wealthy area and there's always nice cars, not a big deal

Wow...I guess that's the typical mannerisms one can expect from a teenager. In any case, he could easily afford a CLS if he bought it pre-owned. Mercedes is notorious for their high depreciation rates.

Great looking car but unreliable and can quickly depreciate. You can pick one up for around 16-21k
LImousine-coupe-hatchback, maybe. They're low and would not do well off road, like an SUV is supposed to.

An A7 looks out of place at Costco. Unless they provide valet parking. Or you go to Costco in Dubai.

Audi's are great american driving suck we multitask way to much. People drinking, eating, putting make up on, doing hair, all this stupid stuff and talking on your cell phone now thats were we american's need to stop it's so stupid I am glad that cop's are comeing up with great idea's to stop people from talking on the phone when they drive to fast the phone will turn off
