Great video young man. Well done for standing up for mental health. It’s not easy to say these things, is it, and many people just quickly move on from that point. I’m 65 and have struggled (and enjoyed the humour 😊) with Autism my whole life. It’s a real bugger I can’t beat. However, by standing up to it, and in some respects running with it at times, I’ve learned to live with it. Sometimes, just like your video, it is so good to get it out there and talk about it. “Triggers” for our mental health can be small, like your phone screen, but to the likes of you and I, it is pretty massive and affects us. Detecting so helps me. I’ve not been out for 8 weeks due to weather etc, but my club have gained permission to a lost medieval village this Saturday and I’m going and am so excited, I’ve missed it. Stay strong buddy, I’m in with you for the long term ❤👍
Thanks Adrian!! It certainly is tough, but like you said, if you can talk about it, you air that negativity and even if that doesn't help, at least the ones around you are aware of your situation and what you are thinking/feeling! Bless you dude, that sounds amazing!! If you find a hoard of cold coins, remember me will ya hahaha!!
I find that as soon as I start getting a bit fed up with bottle tops and junk and interest is waning, something shows up that gets me re-inspired again. Persistence and patience are definitely two virtues you get to exercise with this hobby and I love it. PS - Is it just my perspective or is your shovel a bit bent out of shape? PPS - If you don't already have one, I recommend a cheap ultrasonic cleaner to clean up artifacts without any risk of damage or scratching. Works great for me.
Oh 100% that happens, I'm very fortunate with my area that I usually find something of warrant, even if it does take 3 hours haha!! Unfortunately so pal, it's been bent for quite some time, but in fairness, I use it to my advantage. I can hold it straight and it digs at an angle! I had one on my christmas list, but Santa missed me haha! I don't have one, but like the shovel, I have one in my mean to grab when my financial situation starts to get better. Like the phone, detector and unfortunately now the drone. But hey, "It cant rain all the time."
Thank you!! Yes, mental health is so so important, I'm in a great place but it really doesn't take a lot for everything to feel like the foundations I'd built, were crumbling! I'm getting back up now though and feeling much better :)
Thank you!! Don't worry they will, bad things just tend to happen at the same time. I'm strong willed and know good things will come along, it's just the patience I struggle with haha
It really was, I cant wait to get out again and find some more history!! Fingers crossed the recent weather has helped the signals flow nicely and will aid on me getting that little bit deeper!
Absolutely wonderful finds well done. Another great video ❤ We all suffer with our mental health. Life is very hard these days. Thank you for sharing you aren't alone always here if you need a chat x
Bless you, that's very sweet and definitely something I will consider! It really was a great day, cant wait to get out again and should have lots of great content to come. I'll update very soon when we have confirmation!!
@@bigfootfinding7019 my husband had an accident in 2022 and suffered a brain injury. I fully understand how metal detecting rehabilitates. We are in Cornwall hopefully we can all meet up later this year 🙏
Oh wow, only a stones throw away! Well, as a little sprinkle of information, I am going to be affiliated with the local shop for a few videos and then a much bigger company too! This company does lots of group digs, so I'll have to let you know when something is in the area, or even myself (As my Grandmother lives in Liskeard)
@@bigfootfinding7019 Really thats brilliant please do. Liskeard is 15 miles away from us we go to Launceston alot and are members of Launceston MDC. Very small world x
Haha, this old thing! It's a Nokta Premium Shovel, a great one but has definitely seen some abuse through the years. I'm not a light handed individual, but have heard of others doing the same considering they are pushing £80 a pop
@bigfootfinding7019 just what I thought it was ,two piece one, I was thinking of getting one ,I won't be for sure now especially the ground I detect in the Welsh hills ,I do have an old ada it done me well but it to has a bend in it common problem so I believe , I'll wait till it snaps before looking for another ,nice finds by the way
Sorry pal, I replied after you sent a message and then realised you're possibly in America where it is 2am. Unfortunately, I don't have access to the bigfoot email due to my broken phone screen, I have tried logging in from a different device but it won't without authentication from the phone. Let me know when you are back online and I'll send you my personal email, sorry for the trouble! But I really want to get it to you as soon as possible
Right buddy, I've created another email on this phone as the other won't do anything without authentication. If you could please send the emails again (sorry!!!) to Bigfootfinding@hotmail.com
Just remember you’re a good man, husband and father. All your subscribers love you mate. Be positive and positive things will come to you.
