I would personally stick with the settings on the machine, there are so many settings and they are all very good, at least until you get more confident. If you are after depth specifically, the Deep HC is brilliant and the Sensitive setting is great too!! As for the depth test, I would try and bury the coin and pack it back down. It certainly doesn't miss a lot!

Hahaha, I'm so sorry pal! They are Mastitis medication for cows (and sheep) udders, some farmers would squirt the medication up and toss the container on the floor. Hence there being ample around 🙃

@@bigfootfinding7019 your so kind.. Well I took the iterra iq out today.. all I got was a rusty huge bolt from railway and a chunk of iron. I just don't know if I'm setting it up right... I know how to choose the fields.. once chosen, when I then press the cog, does that automatically save my choice? Then I don't understand the Icon pics on the settings board. How do you set it once you choose? If I'm choosing the riggt thing that I'd.. xx

@JaneyKirkVideoTV big iron is tough on every machine. I'm currently using the Deus 2 (which is a pricey machine) and I still dig the odd bit of iron. The biggest tips I can give for that is. Stick with a suitable mode and really learn it. If you get a target and it is blowing your ears off, it's probably very big and if it not a can, maybe big iron (but if the signal is good, we need to dig, as that's how hoards are found haha). But my biggest and best tip, is to go slow, brush the grass with the coil and if you find a target, stop, walk in a little circle around the target and see what that does to the tone/number. You'll be surprised how many targets sound incredible from 2 sides, but like iron the other 2! If it is relatively stable, I'd give it a dig and if not maybe give it a miss. Just follow your gut too though, I've had targets that have sounded like rubbish and they've been a small hammered silver coin, so nothing is perfect haha. I hope that has slightly helped.

@@7gone I think I paid $1900 Canadian for my D2 remote, shaft, and 9in coil, but it came with a MI6 pinpointer, which I don't really need lol, I already had a MI4 and a MI6 in my backpack now I have a third pointer So really there was no deal on the D2 for black Friday for me if you look at the price in Canada now after the deal, the deal was really to get a MI6 for $100 instead of $200
