    Reagan was the BEST!

This was back when leaders were more concerned with maintaining our freedom rather than "keeping us safe". What a shift in priorities.

Well... the world is a lot more free now. The soviet union has fallen. Fighting communism is no longer a fight for the imminent survival of the democratic world and our individual liberties. China is still a communist state, yes. But it is not the soviet union. It does not seek to be the new soviet union. The cold war is over.

Oskar Förberg We're far less free in America now as compared to then. Also, I wouldn't trust Putin. He's up to some very sneaky stuff. Did you know he has control over North American uranium? He's made life miserable for his fellow Russians. Since his "adventures" started in Ukraine, there has been a huge loss of foreign investment in Russia.

***** The Russians and Chinese love Putin because he stands up to the western world.

Great point. Our current leader seems more like a traitor to Western Nations.

Reagan was the greatest American President since Eisenhower, and one of the greatest of all time. Proud.

How would Ronald Reagan have re-acted to 9/11
He would have opened up a can of woop-ass
This video reminds all of us why he was the most remarkable leader of the last 50 years.

No wonder Poland has dozens of statues, parks, squares, metro station named after Reagan and Woodrow Wilson America was always a friend. Polish heroes fought for America also from Pulaski and Kosciuszko in the Revolutionary War to Polish military contingents in Iraq and Afghanistan.

+Anon54387 I agree, but our politicians can't fix the problems, yet want to increase the variables to the problem with no answer to the equation. If someone says fix the problem your racist. I'm a racist because I want answers to our (all people) problems.

    smezec,
I surely hope you are not comparing the United States to the Soviet Union??? The Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan for more power and control...the U.S. went there in retaliation for its leadership and part in the 911 terroristic attacks. If your comment is a smack against Reagan, comparing the two events and reasons as similar are absurd.

Not what the U.S. State Department thinks:
      diplomacy.state.gov/discoverdiplomacy/diplomacy101/places/170537.htm
These guys think that's a no-no as well:
      integrity-legal.com/legal-blog/miscellaneous/laws-and-rules-regarding-extraterritoriality/
      treaties.un.org/doc/Treaties/1964/06/19640624%2002-10%20AM/Ch_III_3p.pdf
Official document in articles 22+ regards the contents of the mission as property of the sending nation, not territory. Otherwise, the U.S. would have OFFICIALLY declared war on North Vietnam on 29 December 1975.

There is however a 10 meter by 10 meter block of concrete in the UK in Runnymede Park surrounding a JFK statue that is technically part of the U.S.
