We had a great economy under Reagan. Only someone ignorant can say otherwise. Middle class grew, lower class shrank. Even Robert Reich had to admit to that while he was Clinton’s Secretary of Labor.

And we Americans who are old enough to have witnessed it on our televisions and newspapers will always revere the heroes of the Gdansk Shipyards led by Lech Walesa standing up to the communists. It was thrilling to watch! And let's not forget Pope John-Paul II aka Karol Wojtyla. Without him Poland might still be under the thumb of tyrants. God bless Poland and her people forever.

Yes, peace freedoms love and glory to God. Agreed. But then there are haters, unbelievers, people who reject what is decent righteous and good. God sets the standard and we as human fall miserably short of that. This may come off as an extreme example but I hope it's understood as intended. The example being from the perspective of a God loving person. It is not wrong to kill, it is wrong to murder. Righteous justification demands, not always being nice to your neighbor. So what I mean is, not to commit violence on anyone, but rather just to let the truth be known, we can all have differences we can agree to disagree, but there are fundamental truths that should be and sometimes need to be established and not let ignorance and foolish hate with no basis try and run anything.

The difference are the speechwriters of the time. All Presidents' speeches in the modern era are written by professional speechwriters on their staff. If Reagan's writers had written a speech for President Trump, the speech content would have been phrased and couched the same, but the pronunciation and elocution of course would not have been the same. After all, President Reagan was a trained actor prior to his political career and had nearly perfect diction. As for Biden? He keeps introducing himself as the "husband of Joe Biden" and has no idea where he is half the time, stammers, stutters, mispronounces simple words, and can't even read simple notes in front of him, so no, a man suffering from full-blown dementia would never sound like President Reagan.

Moreover, here Reagan says that he offered Soviet Premier, Leonid Brezhnev the chance to directly address the American people provided the Soviets allowed the same opportunity to Reagan. Trump’s speeches were actually amazing, if you could hear them without CNN filtering them for you.

What a speech! Clear, eloquent, and universal in scope. As great and beautiful as the Gettysburg Address and I Have A Dream speech of MLK

What an introduction by the Lord Chancellor.
The President of my mother's Country.
My Lords, Mr. President Reagan. Gives me chills. I miss Great Britain and The United States as they used to be.

We so need a man a Leader like him right now! He was Always humble in his office but strong in his Leadership. He knew a Power Greater than He was guiding his Heart and Soul! His words were Truth and Honesty. He Lead by example not do what I say ! But do as i do ! His fight was always against the progression of Evil in this World! Now ! The Evil is opon us ! Right in our People's House!

The Great Communicator did excellent work. Freedom for your investment in communication selectivity. An investment in self determination. This is a speech of GOOD FAITH. Thanks for the lesson, Brian A Koller

Wow I'm 27 and am shocked at how respectable, articulate, charming, intelligent and thoughtful/caring this man is.
It makes me disappointed to think how the discourse and leadership has degenerated to what we have today.... But positively, that leaves massive opportunity for those that want to pick up Reagans torch

As someone on the edge of the next generation above you, who was a child looking up to President Reagan, with the Berlin Wall and Iron Curtain overshadowing us, I hope you give a sincere and earnest search into what President Trump was truly about.
