Arch back, is without doubt more pleasing to the eye, straight back is the real deal. Thanks coach
Good to know!
Excellent explanation 🎉 This is probably a final key to my accuracy, because it hasn't got a proper amount of attention. The eye opener is keeping the body where you said to, and only the bow raises
I am glad you found the video helpful! It is really all about the basics and getting a great foundation!
@@ArcheryHouse Sure is, after fixing that I just one my 1st gold medal at the local tournament. I also broke my personal tournament record by 4 points.. thank you!
@@archeraction6 So awesome! Love stories like this!
2:00 I love how when you said “release” and then the sound of you shooting the bow, at the exact same time the top left of the target behind you moved as if you shot it off or something lol
I am going to go back and watch that! Still learning how to edit! LOL
@@ArcheryHouse that was some god tier level archery there! I prefer to think you shot it, it went through a wormhole and it traveled through space and time, came back out and hit the target behind you xD
I think sometimes I used to lean forward, mainly because at the time I shot with the bow tilted a lot. Now the bow is more straight along with my posture. The only thing I don’t like is that feeling like you’re on a skateboard, trying to balance when you’re trying to aim. That’s why I tend to slide my back foot forward a bit and have a slightly open stance
I swear there was a thing about traditional Chinese archers leaning forward or something, so it might’ve had some uses too
I prefer the open stance, too! When I used to train, we did a lot of balance training to get a good, solid stance! Thanks for sharing!
You know if you want to have a business and get to know a beautiful and different country, you should open an archery academy in Guatemala, specifically in La Antigua Guatemala. I'm just saying that, because I would go and take classes! 😅😉🤗✨🏹🙌🏻
That would be fun to travel and coach!
Thank you!
You're welcome!
