Pronounced "keen-eye". It's a place here in Alaska just south of Anchorage. They make 44 mag ammo from down there too from a company called Alaskan Backpacker.

Good video man! This holster would be great for the winter time!
They're a little easier taking on and off if you unhook the snap under your revolver's grip. The you'll only need to put your off-hand arm through the loop and connect the other side! Great video!

Definitely need padding between sternum and large frame revolvers. Auto loaders aren’t as bad.
Love the review...I usually carry a S&W 69 for bears up here and have thought about that holster for wet weather. By the way...”Keynai” is the pronunciation. 👍

It will wear slightly. More like a polishing effect.
Polished frame revolvers have less of an effect vs matte finish. If the holster gets dust or dirt inside, it accelerates it even faster. Keep the holster clean and it's going to be ok :)

I don't like the 3 plastic buckles as 3 points of failure. Why not just one buckle?
Quick Release, and honestly they are very durable buckles.

@@MayorFuglycools I see why they did 3 plastic buckles now. To be able to change from different holster shells more easily without having to purchase another entire holster. But no doubt that is a weakness. More points of failure is definitely a weakness.
@@c1arkj Dude I have run this holster for quite some time, and it's solid. I would not recommend it if I believed it was not up to my standards. It's really the best option for a chest mounted holster for revolvers in my op.

Joe, check out Hosking Holsters. They are made in Idaho. The quality looks every bit as good and they run about $95. You can get them with 3 buckles or 1 buckle like you are asking about. They have about 30 or 40 different colors and you can even send them a design, which they will print onto the holster. Available with black or o.d. green nylon straps. I have no affiliation with them, just doing my research before I buy one for myself. Good luck.
