Best review on this holster that I’ve seen. Nice to see how it works with the bino harness. That was my concern as well. I appreciate the honest everyday use assessment.
Thanks for watching Joshua. It’s held up really well and I’m still very impressed with it. I did ave a few of the small metal screw fasteners come loose, so I ended up hitting them all with a bit of blue loctite. It’s not perfect with the bino case, but I’ve been using it that way for a couple seasons and it works. Good luck!
Thanks for the feedback Gary. I continue to be impressed with this holster. One think I would advise is to put a drop of blue Loktite on all the screws. I had a couple start to come loose and was lucky to not lose them.
They really are nice. I did have some of the screws loosen up so I went in and used some blue loctite to make sure they didn’t come off. No problem at all since then.
You are in big steep country and you can't get clear of that stuff, you're roped. Yeah, get that backpack on too ;-) I'll be gettin one of these good video
I just one for my Ruger Super Red Hawk .44 7 1/2” barrel. Best money I spent. Exact same Setup as yours. Thanks for the demonstration with the Bino pack.
Thanks for watching Bryce. I really like the SRH too. My buddy has one and it shoots the heavy stuff great. I was glad to find something that works with the bino pack.
Thanks for watching. Unfortunately I don’t think they do. This is what I found on their website under FAQ section Do you make your holsters to fit guns with lasers or scopes? We can make our holsters for most reflex sights where their location is over over the cylinder. A picture is required for this and there is an additional charge on most of these since they are hand cut to fit. We do not make our holsters for custom guns or scoped/laser mounted guns
You won’t be sorry, top quality holster and the best way to keep it handy in bear county while riding, hunting or even fishing. Thanks for watching Paul!
I purchased my Guides Choice Chest Holster back in 2014, but have yet to wear it in the field while hunting. Primarily because I also carry my bino's in a front/chest pouch and wear a decent sized day pack. I can see by your video that the combo of bino pouch with the holster can work, but have you had practical experience with adding a backpack to the mix?? Thanks in advance!
Thanks for watching Tom. I have used the holster with pack and bino pouch and it works but it’s not the best. I’m probably not as picky as some with how everything rides so I just deal with it. Some may conclude it doesn’t work for them or their style. I’ll keep doing it until I find something that works better. I feel like I need to carry it in the country I hunt.
I got two Guides Choice Diamond D holsters for my X-frame 460V and 500 S&W magnum 6.5 inch X-frame.

Glad I’m looking for chest rig for GP100, you sold me.
Good review, straight to the point. I have a similar revolver with a six inch barrel. You've answered my concerns about the holster. I ordered one.
Thanks, I sure have enjoyed mine. Still holding up well.
Kind of a cross draw oriented approach too but not on the belt.
Yes, that’s a good way to describe it. Still love mine and it’s holding up really well so far b
Great review! Finally someone that knows what to share and what we want to know about the holster rig. Thank you! I'm now a subscriber.

I got one for my Glock 20 and it's by far the best holster. I highly recommend Diamond D.
They really are nice. I did have some of the screws loosen up so I went in and used some blue loctite to make sure they didn’t come off. No problem at all since then.
Thanks for the straightforward review with no hype.
No problem, thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching. I’ve sure enjoyed mine and use it a ton.
Excellent review. I have one for my S&W mountain revolver and your assessment is spot on. Great chest rig.
Thanks Jeff, mine is still going strong and I love it!
I would agree. It is likely the best on the market.

Take the strap over your head to your right shoulder, adjust straps so it will run a little lower and kind of belly draw
. Is how i run mine
Awesome amazing review 👏 1 thing sr don't sound so unsure about everything. Your doing a great job.
Thanks for watching and I appreciate the feedback!
Nice review. Thank you!
Thanks, it really is a great holster.
Good review. I wonder if they make one that can accommodate a Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter with a scope on it.
Thanks for watching. Unfortunately I don’t think they do. This is what I found on their website under FAQ section

Nice holster. I can't open carry because CA things. I've been meaning to get some bear spray in case I ever have to hike out.
I probably should carry some bear spray too. A Grizzly just killed a guy not too far from here a month or so ago. Always good to be prepared!
