Proud to announce this is an official selection for the All American High School Film Festival! It will be playing at the AMC movie theater in Times Square one weekend in October.
Elyas, the birds need more brave people like you to speak for them. They have no lobbyists, only a few dedicated souls who can't imagine living in a world where they no longer exist. There are still some of us who cannot stand by and watch wildlife mowed over, overrun by development, or having to endure their ancient nesting sites violated by clueless humans (and their vehicles). The interlopers will claim it is their right to take the birds' spaces. Perhaps their grandchildren may never have the opportunity to see these beautiful birds, but they just don't care. The birds say 'Thank you.", and I, for one, understand that you didn't have a choice, you HAD to do something!
Just moved to Maine last year…we are Plover lovers now! Thanks for this great content…ps Maine has a great bumper sticker “Maine is for Plovers” a play on Virginia is for Lovers.
I was just researching a banded piping plover and came across this video! It was such a treat for me~ I used to ride my bike from Setauket to a Ward Melville High school summer Marine Biology class that met on West Meadow beach in (around) 1978. I have really fond memories of "mapping" the wildlife in that creek with snorkeling gear. Thanks for the attention to these sweet little shorebirds.
Great job, Elyas! I remember your first walk with us at Four Harbors Audubon. That was just a few years ago, and look how much you've done since!! We thank you! The birds thank you!
This is awesome Elyas. I am so proud of what you have accomplished. The video is so professionally done and very informative. We should definitely share this with the Brookhaven Open Space Stewardship program. Well done.
Hey! Great job with this nature documentary. Keep up the good work and keep educating the public about the wonderful creatures we share this world with.
Bravo, Elyas!! Excellent video that should make an impact on this species' plight. Here in New Brunswick (Canada) numbers continue to decline annually. This bird really needs our help.
Hey there! It's only been 5 years, but right now I'm studying engineering at the University of Maryland, where in my spare time, I still make movies about science and technology! -Elyas

Great work! I was just reading Aldo Leopold and was intrigued by their migration.
Thank you for wonderful information of this Birds, I really love animals too. Hug from Philippines 😍😘
Good job. But why does everything have to have a musical background these days?
beautiful!
wonderful work!
Bravo ❤️
Can you add the sound the bird makes to this video?
Lovely vid! (Note: no apostrophe in possessive "its").
Isn’t “plover” pronounced to rhyme with “cover”, not “clover”?
Raymond Reddington..
❤
When I go to the link to follow piping plover #71 I don't get birds...any one else have this problem???
I'm here because of Luke Cage
What job are you working at now, 11 years later?

@@creatorblue32 ooh very nice!!
I sent my sister this video because i tell her to stop acting like a piping plover!
It's not just a lack of education. It's also selfishness. See the people who kill store employees over mask requirements.
