Is AI the end of art? a short documentary
Переглядів 942 роки тому
Has anyone seen those crazy new AI-generated images? (if not, search Demogorgon playing Basketball or Morbius eating Spaghetti - I'm not joking) With the surge of these exciting (and kinda terrifying??) new tools like DALL-E 2 that create AI-generated art, I thought I'd share this documentary I completed last year about the intricacies of this exact technology. In it, I investigate the recent a...

How and why Horseshoe Crabs are tagged
Переглядів 1,1 тис.5 років тому
My debut film was a short documentary on an endangered species of bird at my local beach. Three years later, I returned to the same beach with more confidence, better skills, and a desire to tell the story of another species in danger- the Horseshoe Crab.
Peep - The Story of the Piping Plovers on West Meadow Beach
Переглядів 41 тис.8 років тому
Hello! I am a 14 year old from the community surrounding West Meadow Beach. I have been obsessed with birds ever since I watched the Movie ‘The Big Year.’ I also have always liked making movies. When I heard about the bumper sticker campaign railing against Piping Plover conservation, I knew I had to do something. This spring I went to West Meadow Beach every Saturday morning, trying to film th...

Hallo Hier you van see that the male plover makes the their nest ua-cam.com/video/gH-QWVNBjjU/v-deo.html Greetings Martien from Holland
I was just researching a banded piping plover and came across this video! It was such a treat for me~ I used to ride my bike from Setauket to a Ward Melville High school summer Marine Biology class that met on West Meadow beach in (around) 1978. I have really fond memories of "mapping" the wildlife in that creek with snorkeling gear. Thanks for the attention to these sweet little shorebirds.
lovely documentary these birds are the cutest ever i hope they survive all eternity
Very relaxing 📽️ filming great topic wonderful birds .I haven't seen many rocky beaches very different.
What job are you working at now, 11 years later?
Hey there! It's only been 5 years, but right now I'm studying engineering at the University of Maryland, where in my spare time, I still make movies about science and technology! -Elyas
@@creatorblue32 ooh very nice!! I sent my sister this video because i tell her to stop acting like a piping plover!
Isn’t “plover” pronounced to rhyme with “cover”, not “clover”?
Thankyou
Can you add the sound the bird makes to this video?
Hey! Great job with this nature documentary. Keep up the good work and keep educating the public about the wonderful creatures we share this world with.

It's not just a lack of education. It's also selfishness. See the people who kill store employees over mask requirements.
Bravo ❤️
Well done! Love it. We have many plovers here in Maine.
Raymond Reddington..

I LOVE PLOVERS
Bravo!! Loved this!!!
this adorable little birds are unique and the most beautiful ones are living near sweet waters
I am as well. I love them, too, and they are featured in a few of my videos. Excellent presentation and filming. Keep up the good work !!
Elyas, the birds need more brave people like you to speak for them. They have no lobbyists, only a few dedicated souls who can't imagine living in a world where they no longer exist. There are still some of us who cannot stand by and watch wildlife mowed over, overrun by development, or having to endure their ancient nesting sites violated by clueless humans (and their vehicles). The interlopers will claim it is their right to take the birds' spaces. Perhaps their grandchildren may never have the opportunity to see these beautiful birds, but they just don't care. The birds say 'Thank you.", and I, for one, understand that you didn't have a choice, you HAD to do something!
Proud to announce this is an official selection for the All American High School Film Festival! It will be playing at the AMC movie theater in Times Square one weekend in October.
