No, it's quite easy, I'm assuming since you are searching or clicked on a video with Omega Weapons you don't care about spoilers but if you do don't read ahead.
There is a shielded crate in the Alpha Site system in between Alpha Site and the North East corner, there are two remnant destroyers which can be easily defeated with a decent starter fleet, I got these weapons less then 2 hours in the game since I was smuggling and also because I forgot about the crate

@@justinthompson6364 Shields are great against pirate small crafts that can't muster the firepower, or Tri-tachyon high tech that insists on using only lasers. But you really don't want to relly on them... One bad shot and you are toast. Thus, a glass chin!
I personally really like rift cascade emitters and rift torpedos. Also all the cryo weapons are top tier gamer bread.
I tried using the rift cascade emitters for the zig but found I like the tachyons more, don't know how to use the rift weapons
@@Stonecargo21 I find the rift cascade emitter needs to alot of range because it works in a way the spawns more rifts the closer you are to your target but it seems to Max out at about half the range. I also recommend phase anchor heavy armor and heavy needlers in the mdium slots. I will say that the tachyon lances have more reliable dps. But if you can get a little closer to a heavily armored target then the cascade emitter does out-dps tachyon lances pretty heavily.
Ngl omega weapon is not as op as I thought they would be
Besides the Cryoblaster they are underwhelming, I prefer Tachyon Lances over Rift Beams but the Cryoblaster is actually amazing

can you get more than just the ones in this video and are there crates in systems off in the corners with good loot in them?
This is the only crate but if you want more/better Omega Weapons you need to go and fight tesseracts, extremely hard to kill and only a few of them per game
Or you could do missions for midnight dissonant contractor in the independent satellite state the nexellerin adds in the centre of sector after hitting a certain positive reputation it starts selling "blessings of the omega" which is random omega weapons
It's infinite and given enough patience and credits you can outfit your entire fleet with those weapons
