The regular Aer fit pack 2 does not have a luggage passthrough. It is only available on the X-Pac version. Fyi

Tom flexing the new balance x topo designs 😍. I always wanted stuff from the collab but missed it.

A lot more straight lines on this one. They seem to progress toward a more boxier shape with each iteration. I really liked the shape of 2, and I also have it in X-Pac, but having water bottle pockets in the new one obviously makes sense.

Regarding Christian’s question about the shoe compartment: in George Defined’s review he could fit his size 13 high-top Nikes in there, so you can definitely fit bigger shoes in!

Do you recommend waiting for an X-PAC version of the new Fit Pack 3?

Is the Fit Pack 3 somewhat compressible? I want to use it at Universal Orlando. They have lockers sized 14 in x 5.5 in x 16.9 in. Would I be able to fit this bag when not fully loaded?

Can a 5cm (2") ring binder fit in the back pocket?

If the price difference between the two is about USD 30, which one would you recommend?

Hi Tom! In terms of comfort, since you're a much taller dude, how does the harness system + the overall shrink in length in the Fit Pack 3 compare to the Fit Pack 2? I own the Fit Pack 2 X-PAC and love the improvements they made to the Fit Pack 3, but I'm kind of holding out on the fact that it might not be as comfortable as the FP 2 because of the 3cm shrink in length from 47 to 44cm. I also own the Day Pack 2 and didn't like the shrink compared to my FP 2. The bag became much more condensed and felt heavier with my EDC stuff. Care to share your thoughts on comfort? Thanks!

Would’ve been ideal if they made it slightly bigger.

Is the fit pack 3 waterproof all the around??

Hey there! The materials used offer some solid weather resistance but they are not fully waterproof. Thanks for the comment!
