Finally, a review that shows the compartment with shoes in it. For what seems to be a fairly important feature of the bag, most reviews seem to skip it. Thanks
being only 5'2" I narrowed it down to Flight Pack 2 (love the classic aer look but boohoo no sternum strap nor mesh breathable back etc comfort features for what will essentially be worn as a backpack) and Fit Pack 3 (looks like the water bottle pouch would eat into internal storage space? less sleek but yay do not havr to choose between umbrella and water bottle). Because I carry a bunch of hard aekwardly-shaped non-conforming items (can't be packed thin) I was wondering which pack would better accomodate a big fat ergonomic ball mouse and over the ear bose qc3 headphones in fat hard case (zoom meetings), a5 sized bullet journal, reading glasses and sunglasses in hard cases and a lunch bento? Could I stash a wet swimsuit & goggles in the fit pack 3 shoe compartment or would moisture seep through to my work tech electronics? Which pack fits more? fit pack 3 or flight pack 2 (or can I still buy the slightly bigger flight pack 1)? which one is easier to pull out the computer at airport metal scanner when fully packed? would be grateful for your insight! And happy new year to the folkswho make Pack hackers!
Thanks for you review :). I have a question, the pockets at 8:16 or 10:03 can hold a mirrorless camera ? Like my sony a6400 with the 30mm sigma dc dn 1.4 ? Or with my biggest prime lens 16mm sigma dc dn 1.4 ?
Hey Maher! That is correct. The front zipper is the only one with water resistant materials. The Cordura material that the pack is made out of is also water resistant. If you are really concerned about the items inside getting wet, you could purchase a rain cover. - Austin
@@PackHacker2 thanks! I was just wondering if it's really that easy for rain droplets to seep through the zipper? Or would that only happen if you're emptying a bucket of water above the zipper for example? So just wondering if it's good enough for normal rain or it's too vulnerable.
Hey Saint! You haven't missed it, so keep an eye out. You can also check out our usage notes on this hip pack after two weeks of use over on our product page here: packhacker.com/travel-gear/evergoods/mountain-hip-pack-3-5l/ - Rebecca

it would be really helpful if you showed if other common bottles fit inside the external pockets of bags. eg. nalgene and camelback 32oz bottles

Thanks for making video! Others did not show bag size with shoe in it.
What tech pouch was that?
Hey Pack Hacker, only the front zipper is weather-resistant? Does that mean that the other zippers do not protect my stuff from rain?

Does the backpack sag? I hate it when my folders and notebooks get kinked because the backpack can't stay upright
Not much sag when it comes to CORDURA 😃

Slightly off topic but what bag is the navy one behind Mark - top row middle?
