      @@SoulShiftingInsight When being ponderous, INTJs like to take the shortest distance to the point. "It's about the journey" isn't our favorite. We like to get the answer and scoot. Anything else uses up precious energy. When asked a question or presented with an idea or opinion INFJs take that time and energy to expand in all directions and without limits to explore every corner of the universe from every angle forever and it's exhausting and I just want the answer!

    • @YellaSpiceFamily
      @YellaSpiceFamily 3 місяці тому

      @@SoulShiftingInsight NTJs are impatient with that kind of thing because they're so innately pragmatic. Don't underestimate their ability to Ti - when they're reasonably mature they wield that function very well - but they will never care about that stuff like an NFJ does. They're there to find the essential point, so that they can click it into the right slot, realign the system, and go do the things better. An ENFJ is more of a mentor than a mystic guide - they will hook into someone's inner drive and choose not to arrest their movement with more than is required for their growth at the time, as that might just muck up the cogs. The universe has a way of sending things back around for clarification later, anyway: best to keep it clear and keep things moving forward. I think that's the difference that's being referred to, here.

    I've only been aware of one ENFJ in my life, but I enjoyed talking to her. However, I was watching her trying to take on everyone's burdens and seeming so overwhelmed by it that when she tried to ask about my hardships, I just told her I didn't want to add to that burden. FYI, healthy ENFJs can have good boundaries. I've been married to an INTJ for seventeen years: I can take on a lot, but over time he's learned that there's a lot of difference between him taking on a burden and me taking on a burden. Fe - when wielded well and maturely - lets you genuinely invest without letting the load go down into your being the way it does with a Fi response. I've had to learn to be careful "talking shop" around him too candidly: he can't always help but feel things in a gut-punch kind of way, and that's something I reserve very carefully, as a natural function of my skillset.

Not even my ENFJ Dad, who's a bit less handy with his Ni and a lot less measured about his Se, does these things. It makes me wonder about age ranges, trends, if the world has become a place that turns out unhealthy ENFJs in a skewed ratio? Possible, I think. I can't afford to participate in conventional social media - Facebook, Instagram, etc - because it's like it was made to encourage every unhealthy impulse I possess. What the....how come there's so few comments here? Years ago, I had a running gag about ENFJ just to pick something trying to motivate people to be comfortable expressing opinions and bringing fun competition since I thought there was so much societal/cultural division that it would help get back to fun over picking sides and debating/nerding out over a fandom.
    Why is ENFJ so unpopular? I hope you remember this for your ENFJ ranker video, Kristin! haha This was a good video imo! If ENFJ is still considered the second rarest type after ENTJ, I'd think people would be excited for more insight....However, with my past experience with 16 personalities...that's not the case since people generally appeared to just want to know about whatever people think about their own type.
    I didn't have a favorite type but this makes ENFJ my favorite because I like adding balance. Not that pity makes people feel better..or at least more than temporarily.
    I wouldn't even know if INFJ is still popular. I just guessed from your videos since I don't pay attention so I just continued with the metaphorical running gag....I gotta go!

    ENFJs who aren't trying to "fix" me are great... but that's a minority within a minority. The rest are fine people, but I'm going to try to fly under their radar so I don't become their next pet project... which, to be honest, is my default with most people, so it's not like I'm going out of my way overmuch. -- INTP
    EDIT: ENFJs tend to by frustratingly reserved in conversations, taking in as much information as they can, but revealing very little in return. Usually, I prefer to get someone else talking so I can just kick into neutral and not have to think about what to say, but that rarely works well with ENFJs. High Ni-types can be difficult like that. Being around them makes me feel like I'm perpetually disappointing them... although, at the same time, they seem very polite about it. On the bright side, if an ENTP cares about you they will be able to dig quickly through the fluff and get to know more of the real you. If not you might get tuned out because the lack of consistency from you makes the information coming from you an inefficient and therefore unnecessary source of knowledge. Hi people. I dont know what my type is. But im going to tell you a real story of me.
    I once saw an injured mouse and impulsively picked it up to take care of it, but I didn't really have a plan, I just tried to see if I could come up with one. Of the options I saw, none seemed viable, and than it bit me (I hadn't considered the consequences of a bite at the time, although I knew they exist. The protective instinct was stronger). After some time without any other valuable option, I ended up leaving the mouse in a field where it died two days later. The bite fortunately didn't affect me. But the point is, this can actually say something about my personality. What do you think my mbti is based on cognitive functions?
    Thank you ❤

      Please do your own test. You should do your own work to get to know yourself better. It's not always accurate but better than asking random strangers like this.

    Hey guys, I'm here to say this because the world can be a confusing place. We need a sense of hope and security to hold onto, especially for the times we're living in now.
    According to Matthew 24, the end of the world is coming (no one knows when, except God). None of us know when we'll pass away. Don't base your knowledge of Christianity or Jesus himself based on Christians' and pastors' wrong doing or shortcomings. Get to know God for who he is through the Bible. You can also study apologetics to have a strong defense for Christianity being the true religion. The invitation is yours today to escape hell and living in unneeded suffering today/tonight.

    LMAO, the ISFJ one is too real. You feel stupid for thinking you've bonded with someone who can't even remember the most basic things about you.

    I'm an INTJ and my closest friend at my new school is an ENFJ, we've only known eachother for a few months and typically INTJs dont like ENFJs... am I screwed?

    • @m_n_a_b

      Is there a chance your friend is actually ENFP, instead?
      If not, and the friend really is ENFJ... any type can get along with all other types if both have respect for one another and are committed to the friendship.
      My INTJ husband and I (ENFP) get along amazingly well. We have a friend who is ENFJ. We love how caring she is and kind. She also has a side that is super judgmental of everyone and that part drives us both up a wall because it doesn't respect the way we each choose to approach a problem. She's pushy with her ideas. She also can sometimes come off as seeming inauthentic, because she is so worried about group harmony, that we both get irritated about it. For example, if I am struggling with a family crisis and I express that I'm very hurt or angry or any other negative emotion, her immediate response is, "But you know, you are actually more than okay because you have victory over this already and remember to hold on to that." While yes, she's trying to be helpful... it isn't helpful when I'm sharing that I'm angry or sad. I'm literally telling her I am not okay in those moments and I'm looking for understanding and empathy, and when I've had a few minutes to rant or cry... then give me advice. Not the other way around. It also feels super fake to me, because I know full well that she struggles when she feels sad or angry in tough situations. Other than those occasional issues, we have a lot of fun with her while hiking, playing games, talking about life, etc.
      So, I say all this to answer your question by letting you know... it doesn't matter what your friend's type is, as long as the two of you learn how to work together within your types, communicate well and are committed to making the friendship work. 😃

    I am confused with my mbti test get change. I am somewhere in the green and purple introvert. But somehow I can feel the difference between enfp and enfj. When I put myself as INFP, I get watched by a guy. It's creepy smile. When I talk to fellow infp, this guy contact me and keep asking about my feelings. Like oprah. Why you not smile enough? Why you are not feeling happy? I mean enfj give me goosebumps like esfj. Why he is offended when I am not smiling enough to him? If the topic is not my interest, then I will not talking or smiling. Enfj need to understand infp and infj is not sunshine and rainbows all the time. 🤨

    Ugh, why is it always like that with ENTJs? I genuinely don't want it to turn into power struggle weirdness, but the more I try to deescalate them, the more they chase me down. It's like I've got some secret, and they simply HAVE to make me give it to them. I think it doesn't help that I'm happily married to an INTJ - it's like they can tell I know their code.

    • @wendyhelen3031
      @wendyhelen3031 3 місяці тому +1

      Well. ENTJ and INTJ share similarities which is micro management. If they want you, then prepare with questions. They will try to put you in their plans. That's why these XNTJ will asked deep questions based on rationality. Don't take it too seriously with feelings. They always seek efficiency.

    • @YellaSpiceFamily
      @YellaSpiceFamily 3 місяці тому

      @@wendyhelen3031 I'm well aware of now the xNTJ nexus works - I've been married to an INTJ for eighteen years - but there's something extra weird about how the ENTJs zoom in. I think it's the tertiary Se: they pursue things SO much harder, and they can often sense that this is a common ground between us (ENFJs also have tertiary Se). But we live on very different planets, and ENTJs are not as flexible and intuitive as INTJs, so they just get frustrated and confused and start bludgeoning me with their assumptions, putting the onus of correction onto me with like, staggering gumption. 🤣 On the one hand - respect! Tert Se respects that drive. But it's WILDLY uncomfortable, because they always end up looking like a special kind of stupid to me and I struggle to hide it: and I'm *used* to the differences in an xNTJ landscape. They just have so much audacity! 😂

      @rachel4060 it only looks stupid because of how different our intelligences can be, I guarantee your ENFJ in no way thinks you're actually stupid. ❤️
      Reflecting on it, I can think of a few patterns in my interactions with ENTJs that you might want to look for, seek to analyze if they apply. I'll post them as individual comments.

    Raw truth time. My INFP sister totally thinks that about me: all the time. It's just about the only thing she ever says to me. Except - the real issue is that she's so freaking self-focused that I don't trust her. Of all the people on planet Earth, she will probably forever be the last one to know anything about who I really am. My INTJ husband, who she thinks is a helplessly nerdy, people-stupid dweeb, is ten times more capable of understanding my complexities, because he's actually capable of seeing the world through a lens that isn't entirely determined by his own comfort level. #traumadump
