I love that the INTP spends the whole party internally narrating events as though they are playing a game of DnD. That's the way to keep life interesting, and definitely something we would do. -A bard class INTP
I like the accurate portrayal of INTP energy throughout the night: "Hell yeah, I'm actually gonna have fun and enjoy myself this time!" "Ok, I enjoyed it, but I think it's time to get going." "Dear God please help me, why am I still here."
As an INTP, I can't decide if I want to hide out with the ISTP, join the ENTP in quietly making fun of the other party goers, or find the INTJ because I know nobody else will bother us. I thought about this before seeing the ending so that made me laugh pretty hard.
always go with the ENTP. nothing wrong with ISTP, but i feel like having fun (even if it's just friendly banter) with someone extroverted at a party to be a lot more productive and healthy, even if it's only in hindsight. i'm an infp, so our functions are different, but i've learned from experience that being a wallflower all the time only hurts us as people; sometimes we need an extrovert in that moment to make the experience special! 🤗 ...it's really difficult, but i feel better afterwards and proud of myself for making it through, even if i have to leave early to collect myself and sleep for the next five days. i've made a few special friendships by biting the bullet. downside? having more than three close friends (irl) is still overwhelming, though. make sure at least one of them are on the more introverted side, though. like someone who doesn't mind just hanging outside the back porch and toking it up instead. you can making anything a party! you deserve that happiness more than you realize. - your INFP friend 🥰 anyway, i need to stop writing essays in the comments sections of every video i watch. i sure do love getting berated in the comments sections for writing a comment in a place designed for comments and discussions. 🥲
@@shrimpdance4761 There is no way that a pantry is safer. In a forest you can run away from someone. In a pantry, someone can kidnap you and do who knows what. Also people will find you faster. Pantries can be highly dangerous.
Some types with high Te have gotten the closest to figuring it out so far (INTJ knows 100% and now the ESTJ), but the high Ti types (INTP, ESTP) came pretty close in the winery video. I can't wait for the feelers to start noticing and freaking out! Will every type eventually realize they're just characters?
To interact with people is inevitably an act, almost a scripted performance, for some people -- for many INTPs and INTJs especially. So acting out an explicit role is relatively easy -- you would have been acting anyway, but now you have a clearcut script to follow. It's why some people love cosplay: they now know what part to play in social interaction. To act "normal" would mean immediately leaving the social interaction -- being away from social groups is their normal, not being in a group. They cope in a group by acting.
@@himbo754 Very well said, thank you. Although personally, I find that even keeping up the act is more tiring than just helping out in the kitchen so I don't have to engage with people in a non-practical capacity.
Whenever at social events I noticed that mostly in the first part, I got so much energy and words to say to people but as soon as the significant people saw that I am indeed at the party, I tend to fade away in the background and wait until I see someone leave so that I could leave too... My social battery only last 30 mins for the most part. lol
This is not an “MBTI types sketch” anymore... Not the classical stereotypes anymore... This is a WHOLE deep MOVIE. I’m shocked this is amazing. Even the acting!! You’re GREAT Kristin!
Yes she really is making progress. I think she needs to lean in more to how she does the ENTJ and ENTP and make the INTP a little more outspoken. We're aslo very good at acting like we're normal even though on the inside everything is insane. Regardless of stereotypes we're not THAT awkward.
I remember a vídeo where the INTP sit in the party , make some fake smiles and fake interactions, hiding behind a beer bottle and is actually thinking about if gorillas lives in hoards or in groups. This is me . I won't leave the party, because the inviter is seemingly a friend of mine, but the party is full stress for me , so I try to isolate myself as much as I can by dancing alone or hiding behind a bottle.
@@midgetman946 I think we are as awkward, but not as timid as usually portrayed. I actually humiliated myself dancing at a club very similarly as an INTP teen, and my inner fantasy monologue (LOTR based rather than D&D in my case haha) is the only thing that got me through high school in generally one piece.
@@GermanTaffer That is the strategy I used in my teens and twenties, since I still had a lot of learning from social observation to do. Now that I'm almost 40 and have better skills to fake it but less energy, I store up energy before hand, show up and be conspicuously social (but probably still quirky) and then when it's well documented that I was there, I leave.
Next time you're self conscious about your dance moves, and think everyone is judging you, just remember that the ISFPs at least appreciate your uniqueness.
INFJ was so accurate! The hopeless romantic who doesn't want to hurt the ex's feelings - - and the social awkwardness while still maintaining the friendliness of an ENFP was spot on 👌 Great job!!
INTJ behaviour is just a sequel of the ENTJ after getting frustrated. (Also, the crescendo madness in the INTP dance, superb). Spot on again, Kristin! -ENTJ
Another cinematic masterpiece!! An epic love story !! And the eternal struggle of the INTJ .. as the vibes of the party are out of phase with their natural brain waves .. creating an energy draining battle for internal survival.
The INFP is so accurate! I have an embarrassing habit of getting lost in my own world and noticing the things around me🤦🏼♀️ Also I am happy with the way the ISFJ was portrayed! they are usually depicted as these people who are to shy to say anything and as someone who cannot stand up for themselves or others, but that's so untrue. They are so loyal and so fiercely protective, mess with the people they care about and they will become absolutely warlike.
No literally, I'm constantly wondering what and how people are doing and what kind of lives they're living. I'm a delivery driver and I always spend the drive back from a delivery wondering about the life of the person I delivered to as well as my coworkers, always wondering what mbti type they are and then zoning out and realising 5 minutes later that I accidentally drove the wrong way back to the store. Constantly day dreaming all the time lol
As a socially introverted ENTJ, I find the INTJ so relatable. I was once invited to a party and couldn't stand all the awkward small talk, so I just went to the balcony.
@@justanothersherlockian7058 I have a theory that EN types tend to be more introverted than ES types, because they are sometimes held back by their imagination in social situations. I'm an ENTP and if I don't shut down my overthinking before interacting with people, I become awkward and unnatural.
@@xkali8119 agreed. I'm an ENFP and I get lost in my mind so much while I'm spending time with others. I also need a lot of alone time to be able to follow the multiple stimulus and ideas I get without being forced to stuck to the same activities bc of being with others. I feel recharged when in company, but I suddenly need to change activity and, Idk, follow the butterfly that randomly started flying around to see where it goes, lol, and so I end up leaving the group, maybe joining another one on the way, but at the end of the day I live everything as an individual experience and follow my path alone, even if glad of meeting others and chatting with them along the way.
We're pretty comfortable in social settings as long as we have friends or people we can get along with. We just don't like having to make small talk with people we don't know well. I guess that applies to most introverts though.
I love this sm! My ENFP self making tea/coffee and forgetting about it is a regular occurrence at this point. I actually once (because I have a coffee machine) put a tea bag in the mug but then walked away and forgot to even press the button, then I came down like 2 hours later and wanted a coffee but saw the mug already there so I made the coffee in the mug not realising there was a teabag in there- so I accidentally made like a Toffea also can totally see myself in that situation of inviting 2 people who just broke up and then trying to fix it because I just am oblivious and just don’t think. I loved the story line through out my sister Is an ESTP I can 100% see her being “Brad” in that situation. But also happy there was some resolution. Oh and love the recurring characters! Also as someone who is super nerdy I loved the INTP D&D references. And that is sometimes what goes through my head like “role initiative” , “ well I obviously rolled a natural 1 in athletics today”
@@dearkristin haha yes! I think it’s defo go to do with the *zero care for the sensory world- in the captions. Like I don’t care if it’s cold really but also I’m just used to it because I forgot it so much.
As a fellow ENFP I completely agree. I'm constantly taking out drinks to add to the three drinks I'm working on then, luckily if some are in cans or bottles, they make it back to the fridge to become left out and warm once again.
ESFJ: Guess what I just heard?! Becky just signed up for that Dear Kristen Patreon thing! ISTJ: Why would she spend money on that? ESFJ: Well, apparently she gets early access to videos, exclusive patreon only videos, polls on new concepts, suggest edits to scripts... ISTJ: Whoa! You're starting to sound like an advert. ESFJ: Rude!
Yeah, as an INTP, I'd have to say that my vision of an enjoyable party would be along the lines of inviting the INTJ around to play chess and listen to music.
Again, so nicely done Kristin! INFP & ENFJ trying their best to help people 'feel' better was accurate! Enjoyed this style of video making a lot! And the ending though! Hilarious! 😂
My partner and I are an ENFJ and an INFP respectively and I can definitely confirm that this is true 😂😋 Another great video Kristin!! ☺️ I immediately guessed ESFP during the monologue hehe
I loved the scene with the ISFP admiring the INTP without any thought of judging them for their uniqueness! We love to see people being themselves and expressing their unique ways, and yes, it does draw us in! The scene with the ENTJ attempting to engage ISFP in conflict was also relatable, with the exception of one thing: I actually do put a ton of thought into any of my personal beliefs that I actually choose to express, which is RARE. I have a whole lot of personal stances on things but I almost never express them publicly, especially to someone I don't even know well, for several reasons: 1. Someone may disagree and feel uncomfortable or feel judged (oh no!) 2. Someone may disagree and decide to argue against my point (YIKES conflict!!) 3. Someone may misunderstand my point and quietly judge me incorrectly as a result (failed self-expression, eek) 4. I might be viewed as self-righteous for flaunting my views when I maybe wasn't even asked for my opinion in the first place. If I know you well, eventually I MIGHT feel comfortable enough to express some of my stronger viewpoints, still cautiously phrased in a gentle way to avoid sounding like I expect everyone to agree with my viewpoint (because even if I do wish more people agreed with me, I don't feel the right to force them into agreeing -- that would be rude and also inauthentic). I'd rather peacefully live out my own morals and if people see it and like it, they may be interested in knowing more, and if not, that's fine; what works for me doesn't work for everyone because we're all different to begin with. So anyway! I wouldn't have been likely to make a strong statement like that so publicly -- maybe the ENTJ eavesdropped on a private conversation the ISFP was having with a trusted friend (perhaps an INFP, fellow Fi-dom who would understand), and so the ENTJ pounced on them to make a pubic defense of their statement!!! 😱 HORROR SITUATION!! Another really incredible video, Kristin!! So much fun food for thought! You sure know how to throw a good party and get these deep conversations going! 🎈🎂🎉
As an INFP I can relate to this so much it hurts! I hate nothing more than a conflict/discussion about my deepest beliefs, especially with a person I barely know! You put it into words so well! Perhaps this really is a Fi dom thing😅
@@lucaras7689 I think so! Both our types are very anti-conflict, and I think one of the reasons our own personal beliefs feel so private is because Fi is an internal (introverted) trait. The external (extroverted) traits are a lot easier to see in other people because they are directed outward, so it's easy for people to notice my traits related to Se, such as being artistic and focused on aesthetics and experiences, or to notice your traits related to Ne, such as your creativity, imagination, and unhindered ideas, but as for my Fi and Ni, and your Fi and Si, those are a little more concealed and personal in their expression. As for our poor Te, well, that's another conversation, hahaha! We will be working on developing that our entire lives, so the Te-doms will always seem rather intimidating because they excell in our weak spot... 😅 But on the flip side, we excell in their weakness, Fi -- so it all evens out somehow... Best wishes on becoming more confident in your personal beliefs! We can do this! But also, I do think of it as a positive trait that we are not pushy about what we believe, and I think many people find that refreshing. ❤️
@@emilys3638 Thank you so much for your kind and well thought-out words! ❤ Fi is certainly not worse than any other dominant function. We know well who we are and stay true to ourselves and our beliefs. And we can feel very strong and deep emotions, and I think that is something truly wonderful! Sensitivity is not a weakness. Your words were very empowering for me, perhaps because this is something only a fellow Fi dom can fully understand. Really, thank you.
@@lucaras7689 Awww I'm so glad to hear that! You're welcome! We really do need to lift each other up, especially since the world often criticizes our strengths as weaknesses. Fi is difficult for many to understand, even including the user themself. But when Fi-doms are able to become healthy and balanced, we truly bring a gift to the world. Best wishes to you, and thank you for this enjoyable conversation!
@@emilys3638 That's very true! And if society doesn't value us, the least we can do is to value ourselves the way we are and make the best out of our strengths! And finding another Fi user so we can relate to each other and lift each other up has certainly helped me right now, just as you said. I too thank you for this wonderful conversation!😊
I loved the way you portrayed the INFP standing up for something…not overbearing or rude but still clear about what needed to happen. Juuuust the right dash of subtle Te. (I think I would have been with the INTJ and INTP trying to make an exit after a “socially polite minimum” time of trying to interact though. Especially since stepping in drama would run down my interaction tolerance time.)
a lot of us INFPs are shy, but when we see a bad situation, that intuition paired with the feelings kicks in and we react. buuuuut since i sometimes project my own bad experiences onto others, i've made an idiot of myself one too many times. 🤦♀️
yes! I loved seeing this, too! we're always portrayed a certain way in videos like this, but this is the first time I've seen our "step in when someone's feelings are in danger" portrayed ❤️
I've had people thrown out of parties at several occasions when I've seen one person in dire discomfort with another. Yknow, drunk people can get a little too aggressive trying to get into others' pants. If I see stuff that needs fixing, I will.
I love it how the INFP has to correct their friend to ensure it being said that "They are _not_ an idiot" Whenever my own friends say that about themselves, I feel the immense need to say that they are not (and usually do end up saying it) 😂
HAHAHA! I’m an ENFP and I do the EXACT same thing, every time!! Even when people are joking, I always habitually cut in and correct them there. When I was watching this video (both times) I had to restrain the compulsive urge to say, “No you aren’t!!” out loud to the fictional ENFP 😭😂
As an INTJ, I relate far too much to the INTJ parts of this video, as well as a few others. I loved the INTP being a D&D nerd, and I can guarantee if I ever found such a person at a party, that would mean the nest few hours would be spent discussing D&D, past campaigns, why Pathfinder 1e is the superior system, etc. I hope to see way more D&D INTP in the future! I will admit, if someone suggests I can’t do something, even if I know it’s bait… I must prove them wrong, no matter how difficult, or uncomfortable. Maybe to an extent, it’s about proving it to myself too. I will not allow anyone to make the claim I am weak in any way. As nice as my room, and the pantry are (I once hid in a closet by the front door, wrapped myself in duct tape, and would pop out every time someone arrived, as if I was being held hostage. This was not for Halloween, it was winter, and I was bored, and needed to find something to do that wouldn’t make me too uncomfortable. It was dark and mostly quiet. I was a teenager), a dark spot outside is nice. I’ve been known to climb trees, and simply look at the stars, to get away from the noise, and the people. And respect to anyone who can properly recite Shakespeare. I may be critical of your performance, but I can at least admire the memorization, and the attempt. I also, may have memorized some Shakespeare back in my younger days, when I did theatre acting. Overall great video! I continue to be impressed by the depth of your portrayals of the various types, from body language, to facial cues, to choice of clothing, hairstyle, pitch and tone of voice, etc. Not to mention the creative writing! Oh, and the ENTJ going on about the requirement of reason for faith at a party… sounds like exactly the conversation I would find myself drawn to. I’ve had long philosophical and theological conversations with my other INTJ friend, and even did a podcast series with him for a while back in college about philosophy.
Exactly INTPs do have social anxiety and overloaded shyness but when they're with their close friends they loose themselves to the music and forget about the surrounding. Ig its our *Ne* working then. Idk if its true for all but for me it is!
I'm an ESFP and my brother is an ISTP, but we have a swapped dynamic, he always wants to show me cool projects he's working on and I'm just sitting there like, ok??
Fun fact: between 7:07 and 9:38 ENTP met ENFJ and decided to borrow her therapist persona as part of her trolling strategy 😀 Speaking from personal experience 😌💅
As an ENTP I can confirm I would be like that, although I wouldnt record it. I will never tell the ESTJ I took it either, they would simply appear after a moment. I rarely if ever record anything. Also, I would be laughing so hard at the coaster argument, so hiding the coasters and then saying that would be indeed something I would say. I find silly how people care so much about things as silly as that. And it is always hillarious to troll Te doms, sorry love you Te doms, but you take everything so seriously, it is just perfect for trolling...
...the uncoastered furniture doesn't JUST get rings though. I've seen the ruin that manifests into the wood from the continous absence! It's amazingly horrendous!
I love the bit where the INTP tries to D&D roleplay out of the party. Speaking of, you need to make a 16 personalities playing D&D (or roleplaying games in general) video. That could be great!
@@dearkristin Also, this is such a good set of comedy captions. My favorite is probably you calling yourself out about the coasters and the ESTJ lol your fourth wall breaks always kill me
Nuthin irritates me more than when I'm pondering the philosophy of Friedrich Neitzche, then someone says, Come on, it's time to play Pin The Tail on the Donkey.
Majority of the types had some kind of roast, and I found that hilarious. My favorite was the ISFJ, I've never seen one so SAVAGE (And I loved it). -ENTJ
Girl there are so many interesting cool people at this party! At the parties I was at everybody seemed rather similar to each other. Maybe because everybody tries to be normal? Man, I think I'm guilty of that, too. I think I want to pay more attention to subtle differences of the other people, and being more brave with doing what I really feel like doing, not trying to be normal anymore! I love your videos and I love you ❤️
The INTXs have learned that the ESFP merely recites the words for performance's sake, and is therefore not likely to engage with them intellectually at a party (or ever).
The INTJ in particular also used their superior Ni to know that the word Macbeth itself is a symbol of bad luck (as all theater-goers surely are familiar with). Because of this, INTJ sensed that the ESFP would surely throw the word around and inadvertently cause mass chaos and destruction, so the INTJ swiftly avoided that fate by retreating to the pantry (with the INTP, who also found solace there- perhaps for the same reason).
@@sophiaredwood5825 INTPs just get sucked into small rooms whenever they find one. Especially if there are bigger rooms with many people in them nearby
Did you seriously just use the Song of Storms as an outro? Genious i love it! 😄 I also loved the line of the INTJ „FOR SOME REASON i have to proof her wrong“…as an INTJ i can tell you, we know exactly why 😁😂
EUREKA! I FINALLY UNDERSTOOD THE SENSING COGNITIVE FUNCTION!! I am an ENFP, here is my self discovery journey: This morning I woke up late for an online meeting and wanted to take breakfast, I went to the kitchen and put something on the microwave, then went to get my computer and got in the meeting. After two hours I realised I still hadn't had my breakfast so instead of reminding the food in the microwave I saw there was food on over the stove and thought: "Great! I'm going to eat this!" It looked like sweet fried banana but after touching it with my fork I discovered it was another kind of food so I leave it there and saw the microwave: "Yeeeey! I forgot that!!!" I said. Then, I put the timer again for the food be warm. Then, I reached the coffee machine thinking there was already coffee in there, but no! So I walked to the cupboard to get some coffee ground. As I was moving, my older sister arrived from work and asked how my online meeting was, we started talking and since she also hadn't had any breakfast she decided to prepare coffee and heat something on the microwave. I was still talking when she said: -"Where is the coffee ground? Why hadn't you picked what is in the microwave? And look! Aren't you going to eat what is over stove?" -"OMG! I forgot it! I was about to make coffee and moved the coffee ground, let me hand it over to you, and I'm going to eat right now!!" I answered. But I received a call from a friend and after five minutes, when the call was over, I saw the notification of this video, so I started watching it: IT WAS SO FUNNY, one of my favourite so far. I also thought to myself: "As an ENFP, I'm not all over the place like the one on the video. I consider I'm pretty aware of things". Then a voice sounded: - "Sister! Clean the kitchen and eat, there are a lot of things you haven't picked up and also, don't forget to wash the coffee machine". She was right! "Oh my gosh! My lack of awareness is even bigger that the one of this ENFP!! I need to write a comment!!! This is very funny for me!!" I thought. And here I am... writing this comment. Ahahahahha, hopefully after posting it I will finally eat! Thanks Kristin, I love all your videos and your acting is soo good!! The INTP dance was the best!!! And the Zelda outro... Girl, you are amazing!
As an INTP I can very much relate to your struggles with maintaining sensory and temporal awareness in the midst of distractions, both from within and without.
As an INFJ it can happen to me as well if I'm alone. But if there is other people with me I will never forget because my Fe will remind me that I have to clean and not to let something in the microwave for others. That's quite funny and accurate for the living contradiction that I am 😂😅.
OMG, I was so excited for this onr after you announced it on your instagram account 😍 Did not expect THIS soon! Me happy 💃 Btw, that ENTJ was making me teeeeeribly uncomfortable through the screen. INTP too but I rather deal with that than the ENTJ 😂😂😂
I tested as INTP and I relate to your depiction of the INTP pretty well in this video. There's always moments when I erupt in super intense freestyle dance and everybody step back and watch me like I'm a alien and then some people come to me asking what drug I'm on even though I don't do drugs 😂 If I'm not just hiding in a quiet room wondering why I'm here and wanting to just go home. Also, I'd go hang out outside in the rain with the ISTP anytime 😁 Or talk crazy things with the ENTP, or just hang out feeling safe with the INTJ 👌🏻
*Has actually used a dating app (in the past thankfully, lol) to try to make someone jealous before and pretended not to have feelings about the situation so I didn't seem vulnerable or weak - INFJ 😬 😂😭 Such an awesome and creative video! My husband and I laughed a lot
loving that you put in 2 ISTPs in this time! And, I've got a secret, even though I'm an ISTP, I like musicals LOL - I know, it's completely alien, but my mom loved them and got me to enjoy them as a child. Darn you, Julie Andrews!!!! haha.
I love how the ENTP absolutely destroyed the ESTJ😂😂 and the end scene of the INTJ and INTP in the pantry absolutely got me🙋🏻♂️🤣. I can't thank you enough for making these videos they actually make my day when i watch them. Keep at the good work!!!
Ah, Flippin fantastic. Kristin, do you have an app that would run your captions directly in my brain to facilitate social navigation during real life ? Thanks. INTJ fan
Because ISFPs can be a little hard to pin down, I find they get stereotyped by other MBTI UA-camrs rather than portrayed accurately. I'm not an ISFP, but some of my closest friends have been ISFPs. You're capturing them perfectly and finally doing this oft-overlooked type some justice. Also, on a completely unrelated note, if I (INFP) and my husband (ISTP) had met at this party, it would've been because we retreated to the forest at separate times and then accidentally came across each other. He would've asked me what I was doing there, I would've told him that it's because this party and everyone at it is annoying and stupid, he would've agreed, and then we'd start talking, and after a little bit, he'd ask me if I wanted to go on a drive or otherwise get out of there. And the rest would be history.
I am an ENFP and I can confirm that I would be the last one to know breakups or any relationship status of people... So this happened 2 years ago and some of my classmates and me were just hanging out for new year and everything was going so good and then I said one friend to ask other friend for something and everyone just became silent in a moment and I realised something is wrong so I just quickly changed the topic. After few minutes I went to other guys to ask what just happened and they updated me that they just broke up before the party /hang out... Like when the hell were they in relationship in first place like EVERYONE knew EVERYONE... except me.. Even our teacher knew... We were in same place same class everyday... How did i not noticed that... I thought they were were just close friends
The fact that ISFJ's Si was so triggered by the tea being cold or microwaved struck me as especially clever. Always love seeing the creativity in your videos :)
I have no idea, why an INTJ came to the party at first place. Because parties are too sensitive for our senses. Too much light, too much noise, too much people, too much of weird smells.
Because they live there. How can you miss that entire part about being unable to hide in their room? (Did you even watch before commenting? bleh) Anyhow... if there was a party at my house (never is, but hypothetically), I'd at least want to know who was there and snatch up some consumables, as well as the fact that I refuse to relieve bodily functions anywhere other than the bathroom. Eh, if the party is too much happening to ignore, I know how to solve that. I know how to dull my senses and big loud parties always have _that_
The INTJ spent the evening trying to avoid the party, but being roped in (almost literally) by the host -- they finally found a cubby hole that wasn't on the explicit list of forbidden places (which included things llike going into their bedroom and locking the door). Another tactic is going into the kitchen and packing the dishwasher -- because it is technical, it is seen as "helpful" (so beyond criticism), and the INTJ would much rather play with the dishwasher than talk to strangers: packing a dishwasher in the most efficient way is an intellectual challenge -- we like spatial games. And there are fewer people in the kitchen, because it is a smaller space.
OH MY GOD THAT IS EXACTLY HOW I DANCE AS AN INTP!!! Finally, something outside the stereotype that is totally 100% true!! I creep out the xSxJs around me a lot but I don’t care!!
At my elementary school our 5th and 6th grades had a square dance, after which the teachers voted me (an INTP) not the best but rather "the most enthusiastic" dancer.
I love the fact that this entire story with Brad and Becky represents what INFJ is so well. Not being offensive and letting people realise their mistake, but always being here and forgiving when they'll come back to apologize (except if you reach the breaking point but you'll need to be a competition jerk to achieve that). I don't recommend trying to be though.
Pretty great (as usual), but I noticed one *major* inconsistency there. A bard failing a charisma check? With advantage? Really unlikely. And I like how you're now using D&D 5E terminology, kristin! "Advantage"? I'm proud of you. ;)
Great work as always, I love those storylines and the interaction between the types. Also finally a sketch with us ISFJs as the Defenders! What a joy! I could relate to that one! (I also could relate to the fact I have to explain my mum EXFJ every time the horology behind words as memes etc) Keep on the great job!
I may have no dance moves, but I have a few INTP icebreaker lines. “If you loose a part of your body, do you become less of yourself?” “Do you think probability is real, or stems from ignorance?” “Do you think the universe is chaotic with illusions of order because we have pattern-seeking brains, or ordered with illusions of chaos because we can’t predict the future?” I’ve yet to use any of them, I still don’t go to parties.
The best 16 personality sketch maker! As an INTP, I love guessing someone mbti type. When it comes to 16 personality sketches, I really have high standards - and Ms. Kristen really really nailed it! I didn't cringe while watching (unlike the yt). Very, very, good! 5 stars!

As an INTP, I definitely agree.

I love that the INTP spends the whole party internally narrating events as though they are playing a game of DnD. That's the way to keep life interesting, and definitely something we would do.
-A bard class INTP
As another INTP, I’d have to agree.
I've done it so many times
I need to try that some time
I like the accurate portrayal of INTP energy throughout the night:
"Hell yeah, I'm actually gonna have fun and enjoy myself this time!"
"Ok, I enjoyed it, but I think it's time to get going."
"Dear God please help me, why am I still here."
...it's really difficult, but i feel better afterwards and proud of myself for making it through, even if i have to leave early to collect myself and sleep for the next five days. i've made a few special friendships by biting the bullet. downside? having more than three close friends (irl) is still overwhelming, though. make sure at least one of them are on the more introverted side, though. like someone who doesn't mind just hanging outside the back porch and toking it up instead. you can making anything a party!
you deserve that happiness more than you realize.
- your INFP friend 🥰
anyway, i need to stop writing essays in the comments sections of every video i watch. i sure do love getting berated in the comments sections for writing a comment in a place designed for comments and discussions. 🥲

@@isabellarose6514 yes, but pantries are safer than forests.

It was also fun making the ESTJ be the one having an existential crisis and not just the INTJ always getting stuck with that.
I'm an ENTJ and I have an ENTP friend who's just as fun😂
Some types with high Te have gotten the closest to figuring it out so far (INTJ knows 100% and now the ESTJ), but the high Ti types (INTP, ESTP) came pretty close in the winery video. I can't wait for the feelers to start noticing and freaking out! Will every type eventually realize they're just characters?
@@shrimpdance4761 The ENTP def knows and just has fun with it anyways.
Lesson learned: If we can convince the INTP that she is in a rpg, then she might not act normal, but she will interact with people.
Kristen, I think you are really starting to "get" the INTP. This was by far the most accurate, yet! Love all your videos - so clever.
@@GermanTaffer same lol

As a socially introverted ENTJ, I find the INTJ so relatable. I was once invited to a party and couldn't stand all the awkward small talk, so I just went to the balcony.
As an ENTJ, I can say we are the most introverted extroverts!
As another ENTJ i agree!
@@justanothersherlockian7058 I have a theory that EN types tend to be more introverted than ES types, because they are sometimes held back by their imagination in social situations. I'm an ENTP and if I don't shut down my overthinking before interacting with people, I become awkward and unnatural.
@@xkali8119 Ah, excellent theory! That makes sense.
I don't think I've seen the INTP this comfortable in a social setting before. Good for them!
We're pretty comfortable in social settings as long as we have friends or people we can get along with. We just don't like having to make small talk with people we don't know well.
I guess that applies to most introverts though.

The INTJ is so accurate that it makes me want to rebel by staying in the party for a long duration and behaving agreeably.
"She perceives weakness in me" is the most Xntj quote I have and will ever hear in my entire life
I loved the scene with the ISFP admiring the INTP without any thought of judging them for their uniqueness!
I have a whole lot of personal stances on things but I almost never express them publicly, especially to someone I don't even know well, for several reasons:
1. Someone may disagree and feel uncomfortable or feel judged (oh no!)
2. Someone may disagree and decide to argue against my point (YIKES conflict!!)
3. Someone may misunderstand my point and quietly judge me incorrectly as a result (failed self-expression, eek)
Fi is certainly not worse than any other dominant function.
Another technical point is that playing chess is socializing. And it can be done at parties. INTJ 1 party host 0.
Yes perfect example of background communicators vs the direct and initiating ENFJ way
I've had people thrown out of parties at several occasions when I've seen one person in dire discomfort with another.

And respect to anyone who can properly recite Shakespeare. I may be critical of your performance, but I can at least admire the memorization, and the attempt. I also, may have memorized some Shakespeare back in my younger days, when I did theatre acting.

The ESFJ's passive-aggressive laugh will never be not funny to me HAHAHA another masterpiece, Kristin! ♡
INTX must have missed ESFP's soliloquy because *MacBeth* is an NT magnet.

"Great! I'm going to eat this!"
It looked like sweet fried banana but after touching it with my fork I discovered it was another kind of food so I leave it there and saw the microwave:
"Yeeeey!
I was still talking when she said:
-"Where is the coffee ground? Why hadn't you picked what is in the microwave? And look! Aren't you going to eat what is over stove?"
-"OMG!
I also thought to myself:
"As an ENFP, I'm not all over the place like the one on the video. I consider I'm pretty aware of things". Then a voice sounded:
- "Sister!
@@petersmall1574 Thank you for sharing (: And also for reading, it was a long comment 😅😊.
As an INFJ it can happen to me as well if I'm alone. But if there is other people with me I will never forget because my Fe will remind me that I have to clean and not to let something in the microwave for others. That's quite funny and accurate for the living contradiction that I am 😂😅.
Yet again, ESTJ is perfect along with INTJ and ISTJ tbh. Love it as always! ❤️
I has been hoping for that poor little Becky isn't gonna be an INFJ throughout the whole video....huge hugsss to all INFJs here lol
OMG, I was so excited for this onr after you announced it on your instagram account 😍 Did not expect THIS soon! Me happy 💃
Btw, that ENTJ was making me teeeeeribly uncomfortable through the screen.
OooHh NO , I was wondering where Kristin's jokes went to,then I realised that it was set at just "English" by default 🤡
Yeah, I decided to switch that one up!
You've made INTP with less than 10 eye blinks. I'm impressed.
INTP went from dancing to wanting to leave and then hiding in the pantry - hilarious lol
I absolutely love this!! The dance floor INTP ISFP part was especially great 😂 The acting is always superb!
Thank you!!
Yeah, Kristin should have had them meet up later for the inevitable crash and burn.
Ah, Flippin fantastic. Kristin, do you have an app that would run your captions directly in my brain to facilitate social navigation during real life ? Thanks. INTJ fan
Bahahaha, imagine
Yep, if there's a party, you'll find the INTJ and INTP hiding out together. - INTJ
Pantries are greatly under-rated. So much interesting stuff in there.
I'm an ISFP, my twin's an INFP, and this was an absolute masterpiece!
That's so cool! My friend is isfp and my mom's infp.
what the hell, im an ISFP with an INFP twin too????
The fact that ISFJ's Si was so triggered by the tea being cold or microwaved struck me as especially clever. Always love seeing the creativity in your videos :)
I have no idea, why an INTJ came to the party at first place. Because parties are too sensitive for our senses. Too much light, too much noise, too much people, too much of weird smells.
Because they live there. How can you miss that entire part about being unable to hide in their room? (Did you even watch before commenting? bleh)
Anyhow... if there was a party at my house (never is, but hypothetically), I'd at least want to know who was there and snatch up some consumables, as well as the fact that I refuse to relieve bodily functions anywhere other than the bathroom.
OH MY GOD
THAT IS EXACTLY HOW I DANCE AS AN INTP!!!
Finally, something outside the stereotype that is totally 100% true!!
I creep out the xSxJs around me a lot but I don’t care!!
Oh yes, INTP dance moves are a thing to behold.
- INTP
At my elementary school our 5th and 6th grades had a square dance, after which the teachers voted me (an INTP) not the best but rather "the most enthusiastic" dancer.
True story.
Get us in the right moods, and INTPs will dance very creatively.
@@petersmall1574 I was voted the most enthusiastic dancer in college, I think am pretty bad at dancing but my enthusiasm made up for it.
The DND references for the INTP made me chuckle quite heavily. Good job!
THE INTJ IS SO ACCURATE I DIED 💀💀💀
I love the fact that this entire story with Brad and Becky represents what INFJ is so well. Not being offensive and letting people realise their mistake, but always being here and forgiving when they'll come back to apologize (except if you reach the breaking point but you'll need to be a competition jerk to achieve that). I don't recommend trying to be though.
The ISTJ, ESTJ interaction was on point, including the little bit with the ESFJ before 😂😂😂
Pretty great (as usual), but I noticed one *major* inconsistency there.
A bard failing a charisma check? With advantage? Really unlikely. And I like how you're now using D&D 5E terminology, kristin! "Advantage"? I'm proud of you. ;)
I KNEW someone would correct me on my DnD knowledge 😂😂😂 Thanks, Roberto! 😅
@@dearkristin Had to be me. Someone else might have gotten it wrong. ;)
@@WolfoxBR That, and the Persuasion check should have been a Deception check, but hey, the DM's always right.
@@WolfoxBR Did you just make a _Mass Effect_ reference in the middle of a D&D reference? Did we just become best friends? 😳
@@Siansonea I most certainly did and I'm so glad you noticed. ;)
Great work as always, I love those storylines and the interaction between the types.
Also finally a sketch with us ISFJs as the Defenders! What a joy! I could relate to that one! (I also could relate to the fact I have to explain my mum EXFJ every time the horology behind words as memes etc)
Keep on the great job!
Yes, I think people ignore that Defender is what we ISFJs are called!🏆👍😃 for all the right reasons
I may have no dance moves, but I have a few INTP icebreaker lines.
“If you loose a part of your body, do you become less of yourself?”
“Do you think probability is real, or stems from ignorance?”
“Do you think the universe is chaotic with illusions of order because we have pattern-seeking brains, or ordered with illusions of chaos because we can’t predict the future?”
I’ve yet to use any of them, I still don’t go to parties.
The best 16 personality sketch maker! As an INTP, I love guessing someone mbti type. When it comes to 16 personality sketches, I really have high standards - and Ms. Kristen really really nailed it! I didn't cringe while watching (unlike the yt). Very, very, good! 5 stars!
A cold, EMPTY cup of tea? Being an ISFP, I took it personally.
Apparently through all the effort this video took to make, making an actual cup of tea was too much.
@@dearkristin I blame it on the ENFP...
And as an ENFP I drink cold tea all the time, because I make it and then forget it’s there till minutes or hours later.
@@Meg_intheclouds Lol. I'd tell you to use a microwave, but I fear you'd just forget it there too and pay no attention what time you set it for.
The straightforward captions for Brad and the SFJs in contrast to the inner thoughts of the INFJ lol.
More type on type action? Nice! 😎
OMG do you play D&D? You really know your stuff! I'm playing a bard so I found it hilarious. (INFP)
Entp : observes ppl shit. Adds her salt. Leaves. 😎 Love it
INFP and INTP was SO relatable! Great job on another video!
