I’ve been using this riceberry moisturizer from littlllexttra for quite some time, in both summers and winters, and I like it a lot. These days, I use it occasionally for the wonderful glow it gives my skin, but it was such a godsend, especially during the cold season. My skin tends to be very dry during winter, and nothing, no matter how enriching, could help with the dryness. However, this moisturizer has a rich, creamy texture and gives a subtle sheen to the face while keeping it moisturized. There were times when it was so cold for me to get out of the sheets and get through a long skincare routine, and this moisturizer came to the rescue. I’d definitely choose this in the cold season. Love it in summers too, as it won’t make you sweat or feel heavy on my face. So glad I found this cream.
I would love that as well!! I'm 52 and my skin in my younger years was pretty awesome and now it's extremely dry, super sensitive, and acne prone. I always only use products that are non comedogentic (won't clog pores) bit would love to know anything else I could be doing to help my skin out.
I’ll be 60 later this year & have been using the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Body Gel Cream, Fragrance Free with Hyaluronic Acid in the Blue Bottle. I bought this at Walmart. Dermatologist, Dr Dray, said you can use this on your face & neck as well.
I have DRY skin. The Lipikar balm by LP is good for face at night time after your hyaluronic acid. It’s greasy but it helps greatly and I wouldn’t necessarily use it in the morning or you’ll look like a geese ball. It’s also good to use between retinol since that is drying to the skin.
Ty for the explanation on alcohols. Many people steer away from skincare products that contain them thinking they are bad. It’s good to know the truth! The problem I have with CeraVe, which I use, is that they have the same 3 basic ingredients in every moisturizing product so I feel like I’m getting basically the same thing no matter which one I buy!
Very useful video. I have a doubt: is the La Roche Posay Lipikar Baume LIGHT AP+M the same as the one you refer to? My version has the word LIGHT and I don't know whether it is different... 😮 thankyou 😀
Hi Dr Jenny, I'm wondering about the Skinceuticals moisturizer (triple lipid repair) and the fact that it contains fragrance. Do you still recommend? I try to avoid it in my face products but I noticed that it listed it on my box. Thanks so much!
@@krissy789 I worry about that too. I have had several samples of it and although I'm not allergic to any fragrance as far as I know, I don't want to chance it. I'm surprised Skinceuticals added it.
can you do a video on some products you recommend for people on accutane? sunscreens and moisturizers? I've had a hard time finding a nice mineral sunscreen with no white cast
Hello doctor, I’m recently suffering from crack dry skin on my lower half of my face and I’m looking for a moisturiser that can help with my dry red itchy botton half of my face🥺
Im have a problem with dry skin mostly on my body and my nose so I’m thinking about switching my moisturizer and cleanser I am currently using cerve sa cleanser and cerve daily lotion moisturizer and I think I was to get cerave hydrating oil cleanser for my dry skin and acne and the neutrogena gel moisturizer or the byoma gel moisturizer but I’m stuck on the two so if you can anyone can give me tips in the replies also know I still have my baby face and im a pre teen so it can’t be so strong
Hi Dr.Jenny Liu I have oily skin and whenever I used to start putting moisturizer on my face acne comes on my face .I used different moisturizer such as Nivea and Vaseline the pink one .need your help please suggest me the best one moisturizer and I am wondering why acne come on my face when I start to moisturize my face
Hi! Which one of your recs would you suggest for the super super dry skin? From your recs I've tried Skinceuticals and LRP Lipikar and unfortunately my skin is still so dry when I wake up (even when doing things like running a humidifier). Thanks for this video!
Look at other things you’re doing to your skin are you over cleansing? He was really hot water when washing. Petrolatum would be the most occlusive you can try
@@dr.jennyliu I use gentle (as far as I know), non-foaming cleansers and avoid super hot showers. Unfortunately, slugging with vaseline or aquaphor seems to break me out. Been trying to look for a moisturiser formulation with petrolatum but weirdly I find a lot of them really light (like the Cerave)!
@@LoveABun I might have to try the Vanicream cream. Unfortunately using an ointment tends to break me out but I've only tried aquaphor and vaseline. Despite Cerave's popularity, I actually find it really light and I feel like I need to moisturise again an hour or so after I put it on! Thanks for the suggestions.
I'm using tacha's dewy skin cream, a heaven for dry to very dry skin. However, it does have fragrance and it does have gold flakes. So if that's not something you want I would avoid it.
The skinceuticals one you showed here, isn’t that one with the correct balance of ceramides only, not ceramides-fatty acids-cholesterol? I believe the correct ratio for the latter is 3-1-1
I’m sorry. I’m not trying to be rude. Maybe it’s the room where this video was made. Same as Dr Sam Ellis videos. Maybe it’s my ears. Again I’m sorry if offended anyone.

Without a doubt, the complete riceberry range has been very well designed. It has worked better for me as compared to other products.
Surely, the complete riceberry range has been very well formulated. It worked far better for me in comparison to others.
Would love a video on dry & acne prone skin. It’s usually not talked about since it seems to be less common than oily + acne prone.

Hello
Thanks for the recommendations. I’m always on the lookout for creamy moisturizers for my dry skin😊💗

Costco has a good deal on the Neutrogena Hydro Boost extra dry gel cream right now!
Thanks
The best thing I did for my dry skin is use the Monsia Kleen filtered shower head, I see a huge difference in my hair and skin, a must have. 😍
Amazing information and your voice is also very soothing :)

I don’t have any issues with fragrance but if you’re sensitive to it or have sensitive skin then avoid

I’ve found a lot of moisturisers don’t penetrate deep into my skin. Why is this? Is my skin dry or perhaps do I have a damaged skin barrier?
Some people confuse “moitswurzed” with an oily glistening feel.

Hyaluronic Acid should not be used with retinol, is that true?
What do you think of jar packaging?

Moisturizers make my skin look horrible and has really backfired on me. It’s stressful trying to figure this all out.

Why are your hands so red?
Why is it so painful to listen to your videos. Maybe it just me?

In general, it is possible to modify the audio / sound quality adjusting the equalizer in your phone settings 😀
Is there a big difference between the cream and balm?
I have dry skin… i used most of them… they are definitely NOT for really dry skin 🤣🥲
