thanks for the effort... im getting my emira this week in UK, in theory.... broken windowscreen seems to be taking a long time to replace before I get it
@@v317865 they tell me its now the seal, from the factory, letting air in and although window is new, still leaks, so new seal to be fitted tomorrow. Its not from a lotus dealer but only a few months old so at least has warranty, but yes, these cars, being lotus's, can have niggles to say the least..
hit me up on Linked in. I am not sure if I want to, but I was thinking about it. I have other toys coming and I am out of room. Good problem to have, I guess.
My car is coming from lotus of Naples too I've been waiting a long time I'm glad I'm getting a fresh car not one that's been sitting at the dealer for a year or at the factory My car is being built
@@ORACLEFASTMONEYTRADER my car was delivered in December of last year but unfortunately sat due to California emissions when I'm not even in California for almost 3 months it sucks knowing my car is there and I couldn't even test drive
If you store your key anywhere near the car, it will keep it awake for some reason and drain the battery. I keep my key well away from my car in a separate building. That might be causing your battery drain. I keep mine well away and have never had a battery/engine light even after leaving the car sit for 5 or 6 weeks. Hopefully this tip might fix your issue.
The rear end diffusor is not so nice when you see at bright light, you can notice the wobbly clearcoat. It woul be better if it was dry carbon finish. I put on my Lotuses only dry carbon parts.
@@andrewstevenson6540 I'm not sure but it's extremely light it is carbon fiber after all. The whole entire rear bumper piece where the block is I have a carbon fiber that's just like that that is super light
I was thinking about wrapping the intakes etc with carbon fiber wrapping instead of potentially adding weight by adding those carbon fiber insert parts 🤔but the carbon fiber steering wheel is sexy. It would match my black alcantara with red stitching. How much was it?
@@Johnwusah I think little less than 1k. If you're worried about the weight just remove one of your cat third one or change your battery out I've never been a fan of rapping but it's your car. I did a cold air intake as well.

@@ORACLEFASTMONEYTRADER I've only had the car for 2 months and over a month of that was not even in my possession due to the cracked windscreen. Does the battery go dead in 2 days if you don't drive it like the previous lotus. I had a 2020 GT if I didn't drive it every 3 days the battery would completely drain and die did they fix that or you still have the same issue
@@ORACLEFASTMONEYTRADER that's a funny question. I wondered the same thing so I unplugged it and I left it there for about 2 weeks unplug. So far this car does not have the same problem. I'm looking into an Emira in the next 6 months or so and I just wanted to say thanks for making these videos, they help a ton.
You will be very happy.

Look over the car well. It took over a month to get the windshield fixed.
Was your window broken as well? If so, make sure you get it under warranty.

Seems to be a common issue with the Emira

Andrew, it's time for you to sell me your Evora. You need the garage space and it's time for you to spend more time with the Emira...

@@mattyb1624 good news the emira doesn't seem to have a battery drain unlike the evora
@v317865 yes, but a very slight drop in voltage is what seems to be giving people the engine light, might be your issue.
