When I ordered these tail lights I didn't think it would be a different install process than the DEPO model, but it is different and easier in my opinion. No need to splice any wires. When I looked at that wire loom to splice the two turn signal wires I was overwhelmed and easily could have spliced the wrong wires. Thankfully I realized that's not necessary!

The LCI tail light upgrade was the first major mod I did on my car, and still one of my faves to date! This upgrade for some reason is so much more expensive on the 4 series though.
Interesting it's more expensive. Less of a market for it maybe. Def a great first major mod!!
Looking good! The Depots are just as tricky to install as these so no worries man. I struggled with mine a ton doing the install. Did you code the LED bars to stay on even when your headlights are off?
Haven't messed with any coding yet.. but I'm going to look into it with Bimmercode. Good to know that's an option. Thanks man!

F30 Skrrt, I was wondering did you find out the solution that makes the turn signal light blink a bit slower and hold the light on a bit longer?
No I never looked for that solution but perhaps it can be coded. Reach out to a coder or someone familiar

Would you recommend these over stock? I know you don’t have the car anymore, but how did they hold up? Any condensation?
Only if you’re trying to save some money and want the sequential turn signals. I never had any issues thankfully but I’ve heard only a few other cases where people had fitment issues

Nice! I don’t have the car anymore but they held up fine when I had them.
I had exactly the same problem with the left one in the trunk not fitting properly, the right one went in without any problems.
You get it figured out?
i had the same problem with the trunk lights how the plastic stuck and then trouble fitting it. really frustrating but i eventually got it after lots of different angles
Yepp aftermarket is hardly ever perfect but it’s cheap! Takes patience forsure
I broke both of my Plastic clips🤦♂️ both lights sooo
My left inner one doesn’t sit flush and tight like the right and now I’m scared water from the rain will get in, any solutions?
If you can figure out which piece of the tail light (typically a plastic part) that is causing it not to sit flush, you may be able to file it down. Also reach out to the vendor with your concern, maybe they will send you a new one

I don’t have the car anymore, traded in about a year ago but I’d imagine they’re still working fine. I never had any issues

I love the look of the lights but I hate the sequential turn signal. I’m not a fan of it.
You'll probably have to pay more or even go OEM, but yeah there are models without sequential. Maybe even ask VLand if they have them without that
@@skrrtproductions Good idea. I’ll ask. I’ve seen the DEPO ones which aren’t sequential but I like the Amber turn signals in a red housing. Guess I’m picky but thought I’d ask!

Are these better then the depo lights?
I’m not sure tbh. They’re good quality, and have the sequential turn signals. I never had an issue
