  • THE GOAT giving out pickup Basketball buckets - Air Jordan goes off on the young guns (Shawn Marion, Nate James, Damone Brown, Sergio McClain and other D1 Players) just one month after “The Last Shot” and his historic 6th Championship with the Chicago Bulls. This footage was captured at his Summer Basketball Camp in the old gym at Elmhurst Community College. My mom was allowed to record on our VHS recorder and I shot this w/ an iPad... it’s been stored in a closet for 20years and the quality is slightly off at first but sharpens up to excellent quality after the first couple minutes!! This was one of the most memorable times in my life and it is really a pleasure to share it with everyone. Very rare and never before seen home video of THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME destroying D1 future NBA talent - ENJOY!!!

That is AWESOME! I THINK, you would probably agree, after watching him play he is without question the greatest player to ever play the game? I was lucky to see him play both when he was with the Bulls and Wizards, a couple times and on television as much as I was able. Though there are a couple players that get compared to him, in my eyes his tangible abilities, but more his intangibles, put him above everyone, regardless the position. MJJ literally set the level to which ALL other players and people in general strive for greatness, “he/she is the MJ”, of whatever is being talked about from swimming to business excellence is “AIR”. ❤🏀

At 35 years old I believe Michael Jordans vertical leap may have been 30 inches if that. Jordan 1997/98 season really consisted of fadaways and midrange shots. He wasn't dunking as much as he was in the past. With that said a 35 year old Michael Jordan with a 30 inch vertical leap was still better then anyone in the NBA. Jordan's performance on the 01-02 Wizards showed he clearly still had gas in the tank. If Krause hadn't been such a loser and so insistent on proving that "organizations win championships" (look how that's gone in the 25 years since Jordan left) and had instead worked to reconfigured the Bulls for another run there are easy scenarios where they win another two or three chips with Jordan and he hangs it up with 8 or 9 rings around 2000.

Saw the Bulls play the Bullets in the 1989-1990 season, and again the following year in the 1990-1991 season. The Bulls won the first game I went to, but lost the one I went to the following season. Funny thing about that game--it was one of the first three games the Bulls played that season, and they lost all three to start the season off. That was the last time a Bulls team with MJ lost three games in a row. And, of course, that was the year the Bulls won their first title. So, even though the season got off to a rocky start, it ended great.
