  • MJ goes off on the young guns!! Never before seen footage of classic Air Jordan on the court playing pickup with the top D1 Ballers. This was shot at his Summer Basketball Camp in Chicago on our VHS recorder (THANKS MOM!) and includes Shawn Marion, Nate James, Damone Brown, Mike Robinson, Shawn Lampley, Ike Bullock and many other D1 guys that would go on to play in the NBA and Overseas. ENJOY!!!

      I was at that game too. He scored 38 in the 1st half and blocked Ron Mercer. Only game I got to see Jordan live. Too bad it wasn't as a Bull.

    He would still play at the highest level anywhere even if not getting paid. This guy is truly gifted and his craft is unmatchable. Being a kid in 1985 and watched him played live on T.V was so lucky . Never will there be another 23. Thanks Mike for all the memories that you gave us through triumph and pain.     MJ is so fluid, like water. Perfectly in tune with the natural laws of physics. You can see even through a potato lens he's unique. Never seen anything like it. Maybe Bruce Lee. He's at such a high level all on his own that these are just drills for him basically. He's playing at maybe 25% intensity here playing in a golf shirt lol.

    I attended the bball camps at Elmhurst from '94-'96. They were hosted by BJ Armstrong then MJ when he came back from retirement
    My greatest memory from the camp was taking the team pic with MJ. And after the pic, then walking past MJ and him saying to me "hey kid, nice shoes"(commenting on my Jordan 11's)

      i went to the camp in elmhust in 95. i was in ncaa group. i was only 11 but they moved me up. i remeber when i got the auto i asked him to put #23 on there too and he did. he also ref'd one of the games i was playing in for 5-10 minutes. it was really cool. i use to have an ild vhs tape that the camp made for all the campers but i lost it :(

      I'm from Charlotte and I he showed up at one of UNCC's open scrimmages in 1999. He didn't lose a single step. I caught him summer of 2000 playing against PJ Brown's pick-up team at a high school gym. You never knew where you would catch MJ playing. He would just show up, school everybody and bounce.
