God designed MJ to play basketball. Huge hands, but his feet didn't match his hands. His feet were small enough to be nimble and turn the corner. Huge vertical leap. Strong, but within an athletic body, and not overly muscled. At 6'6 he had all the strengths and none of the weaknesses. Not to mention his strong focus, intensity, and IQ. Perfect player. Greatest player that will ever be.

I got to see Jordan play live a few times while I worked for the Knicks and let me tell you- he was head and shoulders above everyone on the court. I was excited to see him in person after watching him play on tv for years and my jaw dropped after his first shot. He jumped so high into the air that all the other players just watched. He was quicker, and jumped higher than all of them. TV doesn't even come close to capturing how great this guy was in person on the court. I also got to see Lebron play in person. This is something a lot of people now days do not talk about. Yes, he was a GREAT PASSER. Many people back then use to give him CREDIT for it, but now days. People whom haven't lived, some haters of him because their team may have lost to him, or people never really saw the era he played. Are really down playing his ability to pass the ball. The bottomline is, he was a GREAT Passer, and near the same level as Bird and Magic, if not on it. He just didn't need to because the Game is about Scoring POINTS making Buckets. What's crazy is that scoring is so much easier today without physical defense but still nobody can beat MJ. I got to see Jordan play live a few times while I worked for the Knicks and let me tell you- he was head and shoulders above everyone on the court. I was excited to see him in person after watching him play on tv for years and my jaw dropped after his first shot. He jumped so high into the air that all the other players just watched. He was quicker, and jumped higher than all of them. TV doesn't even come close to capturing how great this guy was in person on the court. I also got to see Lebron play in person. Their games are just different. Jordan was good AND fun to watch.

This is something a lot of people now days do not talk about. Yes, he was a GREAT PASSER. Many people back then use to give him CREDIT for it, but now days. People whom haven't lived, some haters of him because their team may have lost to him, or people never really saw the era he played. Are really down playing his ability to pass the ball. The bottomline is, he was a GREAT Passer, and near the same level as Bird and Magic, if not on it. He just didn't need to because the Game is about Scoring POINTS making Buckets. The game is about the SCORE, points make the SCORE. Thus the most important stat category in Basketball is POINTS. So Jordan did that, in one of the Shortest amount of time, which is important. Thus why +/- stat is the most important viewed stat in Basketball. None of those others matter, if you're not scoring points. Jordan in my opinion was not only great SCORER, but a GREAT PASSER. If he wasn't a greater passer, I have no doubt that he would have lost some of those FINALS, period.

Egypt PHA - to a large degree, ur correct - points determine wins and losses. Other stats are important and measure many important things a player does but scoring is the most important. The real problem is the media. Their desperation to pump LBJ and all the little guards as well has created this worshipping of assists at the expense of scoring - and ignoring all the turnovers that LBJ and others make today. What's crazy is that scoring is so much easier today without physical defense but still nobody can beat MJ.
Bottom line - they try to diminish MJ but they can't because it's not just perception with him - his body of work is the greatest ever and unassailable and irrefutable - MJ is clearly and always will be the GOAT.
If Jordan had so many snipers on the Bulls like Lebron he would have 10+ Assists per game.

finally one of you young kids gets smart. I'm old enough, I watched MJ play. Lebron isnt even half the player that MJ was. The NBA changed the rules to allow for players like lebron to score the ball more with highlight dunks. For example, they added the defensive 3 second rule so now players cant stand in the paint waiting for people to drive to the basket. The paint is wide open nowadays.. all you gotta do is get past your man for a highlight dunk. It's garbage.

Michael Jordan remains the Master of basketball and who knows for how many years or decades will be this way, glad I was able to see him play in the 90's, was and still is a very important part in my life for inspiration, not only to appreciate basketball and be the best, but also thought me to never give up it doesn't matter how hard it looks, it doesn't matter how many times you fail what is important you never give up and keep pushing forward!

Purp Reynolds all I can say is AMEN. this guy gives me thrills I can't even put it in words. I've watched LeBron play longer than I had the chance to watch Jordan because I started watching and playing basketball in 1992 at age 17 and I really only fully watched MJ from the 95 to 98 seasons because i didnt see him play in 93 until the finals against Charles barkley. But let me tell you, the 4 full years I've watched him play was enough for me to crown him king vs LeBron's 15 yrs in the league so far and it still ain't even close. Jordan was the first to be called king and his name wasn't Bernard. So all this king James crap is a carbon copy of the original king his airness Michael Jeffery Jordan!!!! Period end of story and comparisons!!!!!
