You, my dear, are a wonderful young man. Please tell your parents that it is obvious that they raised you right. When we bless others, it comes back 7 fold. Not that we do it to be blessed back, it's just more blessed to give than receive- so many just don't get that. I'm glad you added what you did about gambling, the house isn't in business to give their money away. When you open the van door and cook, I'm always amazed that a line isn't forming outside to buy food. Lord bless and keep you. Happy trails!
I imagine the waitress' joy at sharing the news of her huge tip with co workers and it probably made her month if not all year. Just wonderful of you. Thank you. 👼
Speaking as a game developer for slots for 7 years, you were exactly right to cash out immediately after getting a big win. The odds are SOOO stacked against the player.
Man I watch your channel daily. I love the van you’ve built along with the life you’ve created. I plan on doing the same with a ford transit hopefully. I’m 28 years old and disabled. Before becoming disabled I did videography for 12 years as a passion. You’ve made me want to take my video editing to this type of life. I know it’s not all rainbows and sunshine but I’m fine with that. I prefer alone. If your every coming through Tennessee let me know and I’ll make sure your shown a great time. Much love Ryan
Great video. Foe, those curious how much it cost to build something to live in and travel. I used $30 worth of material and bought backpacking kitchen supplies for $600+. I use a simple cooler with dry ice, and I carry 3 gallons of water. I put everything together in 2 or 3 hours. No screws or bolts. Just some silicone glue and weight.
I always enjoy seeing vloggers spend money at these places generously. Kinda makes me feel better about getting the experience through you, really happy to see your videos take off my man
Man, Vegas about to get hit with some of that storm thats still hitting us here in LA. I so appreciate your videos, I love that your titles aren't clickbait-ee (like other van life folks') and please don't ever do it! Also no forced poignant montages. Nice straightforward, very-documentary feel camera shots. I'm a storyboard artist in the film industry (and aspiring cinematographer and soon-to-be-podcaster), so I LOOK at the shots (and all the storytelling accoutrements). . So yes, your videos are top notch, Ryan! Thank you for your channel.
I'm from Las Vegas and I've been down that trail (before there were any posted signs). It doesn't go all the way down to the lake but it is a nice walk to do the whole thing. It never occurred to me to stop into the casino and get something to eat. I've never been inside. Given how quiet it is, I'm definitely going into that casino the next time I'm in that direction.
CRAZY!! i've been watching you for years and now i just watched you wash you clothes in my town and at the exact MATT i use lol awesome video! i hope you enjoyed Kingman Arizona!
That was INCREDIBLY kind of you! I put myself through school waiting tables and bartending, and I can tell you that you made her day! I try to be as kind as I can to all service employees that I can as well now that I've moved up past that and have a little more to do so. I think most of us that have been there do, or at least we should.
love the vids Ryan really making me want to convert a van and start travelling around the world, hope you are having a good time on your road trip and stay safe out there 👍
Easily one of the best channels - just straight binge watching your videos man and good thing I subbed because another video just popped up minutes after finishing up your Sedona trip! Cool little Casino trip here and I would have thought the same of eating in and supporting the local business. Also a great win, good idea to cash out and go! Loving the content!
Good karma comes to those who deserve it. That was very nice of you to tip that waitress that much. Amazing shot of the lake. Feel bad for those poor folks going through the drought 😔
Man you have no idea how much I love you videos. I wish I could find someone else as well to watch when you don’t post lol. Love the vids. Stay out of the Midwest with tornado season upon us!!!
Hoover Dam Lodge became my go-to for my 2-3 trips a year for my son's AAU basketball. Not a bad drive to Vegas, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Got tired of the traffic, expenses, etc of LV, and the Lodge was a great base during those trips. The hotel is nice, the store you visited is well stocked, and the restaurants not bad at all. Great alternative to Vegas proper. Great video!
My family and flew from Las Vegas to Phoenix this past Thanksgiving and saw Lake Mead from the air, it was interesting. I didn't know how big it was, you could definitely see how low it is and where the water line used to be. It's a beautiful flight as well, I'm sure it's even more beautiful driving like you mentioned.
Ryan, you may want to double check the vlog numbering on your video descriptions. I was following along this road trip chronologically by searching for "Vlog_0##" to get to the next video and noticed that the previous video to this was also labeled Vlog_081. The numbering was correct until that. Thanks for the great content!
Greater Las Vegas had about 8,000 people living there when the Hoover Dam was built. Now there are over 2 Million there. The desert area was never meant to have that many people live in it.
Hey man, from a car lover. You can buy some rubber matting for your car so when you are inevitably going to walk on mud u can place it so you don't track mud onto your cabin and inside your home!
I meet at that casino parking lot 6 days a week for work and it’s rare for that casino to be busy. I’ve seen a travel trailer parked there for 1 month. You’ll be fine staying at that casino parking lot. Safe travels bro
Awesome to help the waitress out. She wasn't making lot of money that night by the looks of the dining room. Glad you won something at the casino. Also glad you warn people that will wins are never guaranteed lol
I bought a 2005 Toyota Sienna for $4k, spent another $500 on materials, and I can live out of it for a month at a time comfortably. I did Utah and Vegas and Arizona last summer, this summer I’m doing California and Oregon.
I grew up in Boulder City NV. During the 2000s it was called the Hacienda. I wonder when it changed. Live in Beatty NV now. Love your videos. I've been binge watching!
Thanks for all the amazing great stuff dude you are sending on YT...take care and enjoy your life every Single day...all the best for you and your family..
I hear you talking about sprinters on your live streams and leaving the gym today I saw my first one! They are bigger than I expected but are super nice! Goals for sure 😂
6:40 Good Karma 🤟 Patronage. Give a little get a little, pay it forward and collect the intrest later. You rock bro, keep up the great vidz! 👍 9:55 my man😉 I am loving your love 🤘🤪🤟 I'm vicariously there w you. See, I toldja! Dude, this was the most funest vid I've ever watched, God Bless ya man, stay safe 😎
Hey Ryan. You mentioned that this drive toward Vegas is one of your fav because of the mountains. I’ll respectfully say that this drive looks plain and boring compared to the ice fields parkway in Alberta. You mentioned Calgary and Edmonton in Alberta Canada as a part of your route north. Be Sure to drive the Icefields Parkway between Banff and Jasper Alberta and I guarantee you won’t find a more breathtaking and spectacular road nearly anywhere else in the world. Keep up the awesome videos I love your style.
Hey Ryan…don’t delay your plans just come to Vancouver Island before heading up the Stewart Cassiar Hwy to the Yukon and Alaska. Come see the orca and do a real catch and cook :)
My house is 5 minutes from the airport in Vegas if you ever need a place to park the van to sleep or need a place to park if you are flying out and don't want to pay to park.
Been watching your channel for a bit and dig the content! I see you're heading our way so I recommend Pismo Beach, CA as a stop on your journey. Splash Cafe is the best clam chowder you will ever eat but is packed on weekends. Safe travels!!
$50 in tips was an average "slow" shift at my old casino, so that would have definitely brightened my week. Good on ya for looking out for industry folk! I am blessed enough to bring home $150-200 per shift these days, but that is still an impressive tip on such a small tab. I get people ringing up $250 checks who don't tip that much.
dang I actually remember the day you went to Vegas for your flight somewhere. It was after you drove from Seattle to LA, which funny enough when I discovered your channel sometime in mid-October/November
Thank you Ryan. You are the man! The rocks are crazy colors from minerals. Lots of iron and hematite. You should go prospecting in Colorado’s San Luis Valley at Mount Antero 14r and find a aquamarine stone for your girlfriend. Jen
As a server/bartender it makes me love you EVEN MORE for taking care of that waitress. Godspeed Ryan!!
❤️❤️
He certainly won me over! Lord bless and keep him.❤
Yes! That was wonderful!! 🤗🤗🤗👍🏽

Nothing better than a long day of work and then coming home to a new vid from ryan, damn life is good.
Appreciate you homie :)
Me too ! 🤗
Yeah man
I imagine the waitress' joy at sharing the news of her huge tip with co workers and it probably made her month if not all year. Just wonderful of you. Thank you. 👼

Seeing you give that wait person a $50 tip made me subscribe and like this video . That was a great way to pay it forward !!!
Your generosity is palpable. I've been seeing it from your other vids as well and It wasn't fake indeed. Kudos to you, Ryan. :-) God bless you more!
found your channel recently and have been watching a lot of your videos, i love your lifestyle! wishing you the best of luck on your future journey!
Getting another 1k subscribers every day man. Congrats! You deserve it!!!

I went to that casino back in 2016, it's crazy to compare the water level differences.
CRAZY!! i've been watching you for years and now i just watched you wash you clothes in my town and at the exact MATT i use lol awesome video! i hope you enjoyed Kingman Arizona!
@9:56 I knew you were a good person. That tip probably made that person's week! You're awesome for doing that and I wish you the best of luck!
@11:56 Karma baby! 💫💫💫
Great video Ryan but sure wish they were longer. Stay safe on your travels & have fun!❤
I could watch your videos for hours. They are so real and great. 👏

Hoover Dam Casino welcomes campers in the rear of the lot at no cost. They will even send the shuttle if you want or need a lift to the casino.

I've come to love these vids, great stuff Ryan. The COD MW montage was cool too
Your videos make me crave van life a lot, but since it's not feasible for me currently, I might just start doing some car camping for now!
I can't wait to finish up my van and get on the road, November 1st is the goal 🎉
Wish you luck and fun🚐👍
Enjoy life, do what makes you happy, and most importantly be safe doing it !
Your subs have been growing so much ! Every time u drop a new video the number goes up

Youve got me wanting 3 things, A van, Some wings, and some of that good luck 👍
Lived in Vegas for a year in 1977. Back then you could tour the inside of the dam, so my Dad took me on that tour. Pretty amazing dam..
The #GOAT strikes again 💯
Love your set-up....love your generosity!
I’ve lived in Vegas for over 20 years. I still love the views.
Love your videos!!! Can’t wait for my Ryan Tee to arrive!!!!!🙌🏻🥰
I like the solitary life a lot. Being in your own mindspace and with Netflix as your companion doea not sound bad.
I meet at that casino parking lot 6 days a week for work and it’s rare for that casino to be busy. I’ve seen a travel trailer parked there for 1 month. You’ll be fine staying at that casino parking lot.

I need you to make a video that’s atleast half an hour and then I will feel peace in my brain
What a great day you had !! Yay !!
I grew up in Boulder City NV. During the 2000s it was called the Hacienda. I wonder when it changed. Live in Beatty NV now. Love your videos. I've been binge watching!
Patronizing a business where you're camping at will keep that business open to campers!

You couldn’t pry me out of that bed with the sound of rain hitting the roof of your van.
My house is 5 minutes from the airport in Vegas if you ever need a place to park the van to sleep or need a place to park if you are flying out and don't want to pay to park.
Love the videos as always! Maybe you could put map of where you are, where you've been and where you're going at the start?
I like your videos, i never been in USA so with your videos I can see how beautiful is that country.
Always love the content Ryan
It was nice of you to tip that waitress. Good deeds really does not go unrewarded. Hence you won in that slot machine.
Been watching your channel for a bit and dig the content! I see you're heading our way so I recommend Pismo Beach, CA as a stop on your journey. Splash Cafe is the best clam chowder you will ever eat but is packed on weekends. Safe travels!!
