Really strong start! I totally agree with you that ignoring the playstyle of other's, that does not match your own, is most of the time the right decision and saves a lot of time. That might also apply for pushing a compound when you are solo and the team inside does not do anything. There were several situations where I just went to the exit and saved a lot of time because they were still sitting and waiting inside even when I was gone for a long time.
Definitely applies to bounty camping too! Often it's better to just say screw the bounty and just save your hunter, especially if they have a good loadout or already have some traits
@@peebnute or, even better, if they won't push, wait until the clock winds down super far, and then just leave.
with any luck, you'll get out just in time, but they'll lose their hunters in the process

@@peebnute most of the time when I try, a teammate of mine eventually dies to a lucky pick and all the shotgunners in the compound swarm out like wasps, lol.
but when it works, it's hilarious.
as a medum ammo sniper: don't stop moving, even when you think you're alone.
Also, if a clue CAN be sniped, and you know you set off a soundtrap closeby, be careful about how you approach it. Same goes for places with red barrels, plenty of people don't expect a 200+ meter cross-compound barrel shot. same with a 100+ meter cross compound clue shot.
tips for snipers, get good at leading shots from decent range, makes people really easy to kill. Additionally, if they don't see you, try not to take your first shot until you're sure you'll hit them.
also, if you're fighting a sniper at range, just run away and break line of sight. If you have bounty, they'll need to chase, and if you can force an extract fight, they probably don't have a great close range option (unless they have a lemat or saber) {which I always take with me, my last resort has saved me more times than I can count}
As someone who desperately wants to be a long-ammo sniper, if everyone could just stand perfectly still for, like, 10-15 seconds, and not shoot me while I line up the crosshairs, that would be great!
Eta: That trick with Incendiary against the Spider reminds me of when a single Poison Bomb could stun-lock and kill the Butcher in about 5 seconds!
Poison works really well against all bosses except the Spider! Try hitting the assassin with a poison Hand Crossbow! He really doesn't like it very much

I just realized they prob didnt have time to rush to the other end of the map and get that bounty since that was everyone. Im not sure 5mins is enough.
Good point. 5 mins is real tight, tho extract was next to bounty. I missed one kinda like that by 5 secs

I love the little text tips that pop up on screen during the video.
They give some really neat info on the game, for instance I usually try my best not to shoot even when the enemy knows that I'm near them.
This has lead to my demise because I didnt take care of a nearby "elite". I'll keep this tip in mind, it does just seem pointless to try and be super sneaky when they know you're there.
Overall great video, and great Hunt content. I hope this channel finds more viewers and subs, you deserve it.

Sometimes when I have a really bad streak of games I go a few rounds with a sniper trying to get really far kills, my best one was a headshot from blanchett tower to far side of alice farm, mosin sniper spitzer, 370m, outside effective range but the guy was crouch healing.
I think muzzle velocity is extremely important. If you have to lead shots you have to guess less or right if you dont need to lead shots you can increase your accuracy by 50 percent
This really only works in duos and in 4* or less. For 5/6* “triangle strat” snipers you always have a sniper in front of you. There is no running and doubling back cause your always pincered. the only way to get out is to not pick up bounty so they can’t track you. Maybe you can get 1 kill on the sniper team then leave. But in trios good luck trying to get your teammates to not pick up bounty for the greater good. The way I see it, if the snipers are gonna wait till timer runs out to camp bounty, make them waist their time and not get a kill out of it. I swear crytek should add a feature to let you “drop the bounty” just so trio snipers can’t triangulate you.
For the closing you said that "it's risk versus reward", but I personally don't really care about the bounty. I care about having good fights and even winning at a disadvantage. But even I usually just go away when people are sitting at the edge of Darksight Boost range with scopes.

I like seeing my betters use weapon combinations I use.
also funny enough. the only time i felt it was "too long" to swap firing types was usually when i shotgun someone and then i tap swap and nothing happens >.< but thats clearly an adrenaline moment
Too many randoms will try to push awful situations, where we could have just hung out and waited the enemy out, or we could have just ran.

I make the subtitles in Gimp and put it all together in Davinci Resolve 17!
@@peebnute my videos are sometimes gets pixelated/blurry in the foliages idk what to do. I heard the full version of Davinci solves it. Oh and I shall try Gimp.
@@yeet_cs3394 I also have a 1440p monitor, which is the minimum resolution needed to get the good UA-cam encoder. If you look at some of my older videos before I upgraded you'll see that they're also a little crunchy :(
Great video! Great gameplay and lots of useful information. One critique though is the text explanations are really long and forced me to pause sometimes to read what was going on and I have more than one monitor so often I had to rewind when another distraction came up for me...if you could condense the text and maybe timestamp the advice moments so even if I miss one or two I can go back and get that information. Otherwise A++ video thank you and you have the sub from me.

Great video. I think you can cut a little bit a it (when you loot the bodies and wait for the bounty to pick it up but other than that, very nice.
Also, another tip for this type of situation, when you run away and you're getting chased, you can look at the floor and shake your camera left and right to avoid getting headshot (don't run into walls tho :D)

I hate the lemat the iron sights suck its weak. muzzle velocity sucks. its literally outperformed by everything. your trading power for versatility. Which might be a reasonable choice incertain builds when soloing. but only then imo.
In my opinion long ammo is not the meta, except for people that absolutely need a meta in a video-game
Hunt is all about situations and the variety of counpounds and areas makes it even more difficult to tell wich loadout is the most optimal in such or such condition.
There always been this little rage/war betwing long ammo vs shotguns at boss lair, my experience on the game tells me that it is much more a trend about video-games where people need to do tier list and shits like that
