The audio is stellar. Every item in the game has a unique sound when using it or even equipping it. Knowing enough of the sounds you can tell exactly what they're about to throw/use
@@zomaga1 I try to stick around 4 stars. I'm probably really a 5 star player but I cant stand 5 star lobbies sometimes. Everyone uses long ammo and plays the same. 3-4 star lobbies are awesome cause most dont really care about having the best loadout and will be more bold. Sometimes I get outgunned by 3 stars just because they did something insane that no 5 star would ever try
Ngl 12 is too low. It should be 24 because of how large the map is. Oftentimes I run around the map without a single player in sight. And a couple of times I’ve extracted with the bounty multiple games in a row without a single PVP fight.
One thing I really love about this game that he didn't mention is how there's no magical blue circle constraining your team to a single point. The whole 'converge on one location for an epic clusterfuck' is a lot more organic, it can happen at any time and you have the option to completely ignore it, because you're late to the party, got downed once in a previous fight etc. You can just live to fight another day.
Yea i agree. I also like that you spawn in with weapons and have no need to jump from a corny bus-plane to choose where to land just to run around like a headless chicken until you find a gun. A lot of mechanics in BR are so stupid and i hate them. This game does the genius thing to remove like 99% of the things i hate from a regular BR. And the bounties is the way, the best way to make people converge and kill each other. It's absolute genius!

@@jacksonw453 If you are level 10, the MMR system likely hasn't given you an accurate rating yet because you have played so few matches that it doesn't know what rating you are yet. As you keep dying and sucking, it will drop your rating down and match you with other people who also suck. Don't worry too much about what level people are. I've played with a lot of level 100's who still shoot at zombies and run into crows even after I ping them.
Level 1 MMR: “Wow this game is so cool and it’s really fun!” Level 2 MMR: “Wow this game is so cool, and it’s really fun!” Level 3 MMR: “This game is great.” Level 4 MMR: “This game is pretty good.” Level 5 MMR: “I must play in a bathtub so that the sweat secreting from my body does not soak into my gaming chair.” Level 6 MMR: (I have never reached this stage but some say that you can hear the Nitros and Avtomats from the main menu…)

maybe hunt is the best battle royale game you've ever played because it's not a BR, its an extraction shooter like tarkov and marauders. the point of a BR is to eliminate all other players and be the last one standing, hunt's goal is to get the bounties and extract, and while it helps to kill the other players, it's not required.
Hunt being my main game, I found a lot of humor in this. You did a great job explaining how the game works but also showing how much fun it is to just play it. You have earned a new subscriber
Nomad, Psycho, Alcatraz, and Prophet I love the whole crysis series and I played them mostly on consoles so it's got nothing to do with them melting PC's for me. They're amazing games with a lot of player freedom, a sick sci fi storyline, beautiful environments, and great mechanics.

I tried this game a while ago because a buddy of mine was a Veteran of it and I thought it was pretty fun despite the fact that i'm in europe and he in one of the Carolinas and that I was literally *shaking* at the end of it. Then I tried it by myself and, contrary to my every prediction, I lived through it! Hell, I even killed a guy! I decided that that was enough and booked it towards the boat to have my adrenaline-induced parkinsons subside since I was NOT feeling good despite being overjoyed to have not died in my first solo round. Then in my last game with that same buddy we spawned next to a 3-man spear team and all died. Fun game, but not my thing.

Had a fun match last night actually where another team got to bounty number one and was fighting their way to the extraction point, meanwhile my team hit bounty number 2. Once we finished banishing we noticed that that bounty number 1 was sitting right next to an extraction point, and had not moved for almost 15 minutes. So we decided to go and see what was happening. When we arrived. We found four dead teams. And the bounty just sitting there dead. We picked it up and extracted, of course . But I would’ve loved to known what happened that ended up with four teams, killing themselves, and no one extracting.
Top tip. Either kill the boss really quickly with a bomb( unless it's the assassin) or kill it quietly with an axe or hammer preferably, or the bomb lance melee. Otherwise good luck

(Though you can play solo or trio, and solos get their own mode; a more typical BR with finding loot and last one standing) Pick ups can be used twice (once by each player) there ar 2 bounty tokens. There are 12 players per match though servers don't have to be full and solos and duos can opt to play against trios (There is no solo queue for bounty mode, you go against duos at least). PS. Rowby you concertina-bunkering son of a *howdy* come out and fight like a proper southerner, just like our inbred forefathers. (Real hunters main melee)
I think because there's nothing forcing you to go anywhere that for example today when playing a bullet whizzed past my ear and made me nearly shit my pants, shoot-outs feel more tense because you can't really know if you've got a group of people preparing to rain hell on you for walking wrong
As someone who's played Hunt for 2 years and is currently unable to have fun because they're trapped in high rated matches, and taking a break currently knowing they'll be even worse prepared when they do go back to the game... Well I decided to pick up DBD and found your channel as a result *because* I'm taking that break from Hunt. The way it felt seeing this video pop up randomly is... well a little unnerving!

I love watching a new players take on this game. Also it’s dark sight not “dark sense” but hey welcome to the bayou, first tip I can give you is to swap your controls over to hunter from the default gunslinger, you’ll probably hate it at first, it may even get you killed for a few games, but once you’ve learnt it the game is so much more smooth and you’ll be thanking me in no time! Good luck hunting partner! Edit: I’ve watched the whole video now, so many false claims man. There is much for you to learn :p I want to say at least 20% of what you said was absolutely wrong but I could see how a new player could see it that way :p Scrapbeak only drops constantina if you shoot him while he’s enraged. I don’t recommend you shoot any boss while enraged since their reduction to damage during this time is through the roof. None of the bosses pose any threat once you learn how to fight each one and an average hunter can kill them solo easily without losing any HP.
Hunt is not a battle royale. That's a genre based on the japanese cult classic which challenged participants to survive the ever-shrinking boundary and eliminate each other to decide the soul-survivor. Hunt has a mode called just this, but it's basically a shopping spree for getting better hunters in the morning.
Adding onto the pile of commets that likely mentioned it already but.. melee bosses Not only is it silent but it's often times a lot faster. Just find a hammer or a hachet in the compound, swing it twice at the boss then get out of the arena until the "rage phase" of the boss ends, repeat another 3 times and it's down Unless you have one of few specific weapons, bullets do little damage to bosses while a sledgehammer chunks 1/8 of their HP bar per hit
Happy hunt is still getting some shine over the years, it really is a good game with interesting mechanics, 3-4 star lobbys are still some of the best rootin tootin shootin you can have. 5 stars are a bit try hard and 6 stars are just no fun unless you like camping in the bayou.

You should turn off Motion Blur, it'll help you see enemy players much better. And definitely lower Anti-Aliasing to SMAA 1x.

There is much for you to learn :p I want to say at least 20% of what you said was absolutely wrong but I could see how a new player could see it that way :p Scrapbeak only drops constantina if you shoot him while he’s enraged. I don’t recommend you shoot any boss while enraged since their reduction to damage during this time is through the roof. None of the bosses pose any threat once you learn how to fight each one and an average hunter can kill them solo easily without losing any HP.

I switched from dbd to Hunt Showdown last summer. Glad to see this. The gunplay is so nice and slow (aside from the Avto but we don't talk about that)
Hunt is not a battle royale. That's a genre based on the japanese cult classic which challenged participants to survive the ever-shrinking boundary and eliminate each other to decide the soul-survivor. Hunt has a mode called just this, but it's basically a shopping spree for getting better hunters in the morning.
Adding onto the pile of commets that likely mentioned it already but.. melee bosses
Not only is it silent but it's often times a lot faster. Just find a hammer or a hachet in the compound, swing it twice at the boss then get out of the arena until the "rage phase" of the boss ends, repeat another 3 times and it's down
Unless you have one of few specific weapons, bullets do little damage to bosses while a sledgehammer chunks 1/8 of their HP bar per hit
I remember one was named Alcatraz from the second game after the first protagonist dies since the suit acts like a parasite

Every single gun has a unique sound, so when you're experienced, you know all the guns every squad has from any range. ❤️😘

Happy hunt is still getting some shine over the years, it really is a good game with interesting mechanics, 3-4 star lobbys are still some of the best rootin tootin shootin you can have. 5 stars are a bit try hard and 6 stars are just no fun unless you like camping in the bayou.
