the maximum amount of players in a hunt showdown game is 12, including you and your teammates. A lot of people try to track where all other teams are to avoid getting sandwiched when attacking another team. What makes this game such a gem is the audio, and you can use that with other clues from the map and darksight to track where the other hunters are moving and fighting at.
He told advised to uninstall after getting to 5 * mmr. :D
The audio is stellar. Every item in the game has a unique sound when using it or even equipping it. Knowing enough of the sounds you can tell exactly what they're about to throw/use
@@zomaga1 I try to stick around 4 stars. I'm probably really a 5 star player but I cant stand 5 star lobbies sometimes. Everyone uses long ammo and plays the same. 3-4 star lobbies are awesome cause most dont really care about having the best loadout and will be more bold. Sometimes I get outgunned by 3 stars just because they did something insane that no 5 star would ever try

Ngl 12 is too low. It should be 24 because of how large the map is. Oftentimes I run around the map without a single player in sight. And a couple of times I’ve extracted with the bounty multiple games in a row without a single PVP fight.

Tutorial was dog water. Thought I was playing Skyrim. Should’ve at least explained how clues and extraction points work
One thing I really love about this game that he didn't mention is how there's no magical blue circle constraining your team to a single point. The whole 'converge on one location for an epic clusterfuck' is a lot more organic, it can happen at any time and you have the option to completely ignore it, because you're late to the party, got downed once in a previous fight etc. You can just live to fight another day.
Yea i agree. I also like that you spawn in with weapons and have no need to jump from a corny bus-plane to choose where to land just to run around like a headless chicken until you find a gun. A lot of mechanics in BR are so stupid and i hate them. This game does the genius thing to remove like 99% of the things i hate from a regular BR. And the bounties is the way, the best way to make people converge and kill each other. It's absolute genius!
I'm a veteran to this game and utterly hate it sometimes, but watching you talk about it makes me wanna go play again.

My biggest problem is I'm level 10 and it puts me up against people that are level 100 I kinda feel like the PvP element is the most distracting part
@@jacksonw453 If you are level 10, the MMR system likely hasn't given you an accurate rating yet because you have played so few matches that it doesn't know what rating you are yet.
As you keep dying and sucking, it will drop your rating down and match you with other people who also suck.
Don't worry too much about what level people are. I've played with a lot of level 100's who still shoot at zombies and run into crows even after I ping them.
Level 1 MMR: “Wow this game is so cool and it’s really fun!”
Level 2 MMR: “Wow this game is so cool, and it’s really fun!”
Level 3 MMR: “This game is great.”
Level 4 MMR: “This game is pretty good.”
Level 5 MMR: “I must play in a bathtub so that the sweat secreting from my body does not soak into my gaming chair.”
Level 6 MMR: (I have never reached this stage but some say that you can hear the Nitros and Avtomats from the main menu…)
No my Bro I once had 6mmr random in team. He used axe and romero with races, that was absolutely terrifing.

The 6* secret is that they play like 1-3* but made it through the 5* lobbies... they click heads while kick flipping an immolator

I wiped a trio and two solos today from the top of the lighthouse with a sparks sniper today. So when he mentioned the smug sniper in the tower I laughed 😂 tomorrow it will be me getting wiped, so I laugh while I can

Bring a compact shotgun theres gonna be atleast 2 bomb lance users per game… always equip quarter master and something thats good to just spray and pray when a derranged nearly naked homeless man with skulls mounted on his back rush you down with a bomblance or have a gun with an attached bayonet with you at all times.
Hunt being my main game, I found a lot of humor in this. You did a great job explaining how the game works but also showing how much fun it is to just play it. You have earned a new subscriber

Hey people have been telling me so I thought I'd pin it here! It's actually 12 people in a match and the Nitro Rifle isn't the most expensive weapon. That's the Avtomat machine rifle!

1:15 there can be at most 12 player's running around (that includes you). It can SOUND like a lot more depending on how many time's they can get scrapped off the floor before dying again

Love to see more Hunt content, it really is a gem. As for the Bee jar, when you throw your bees they actually target based off of line of sight, not distance. You can yeet one through a window and then hide from your own bees until you hear them trigger and target something they see.
I tried this game a while ago because a buddy of mine was a Veteran of it and I thought it was pretty fun despite the fact that i'm in europe and he in one of the Carolinas and that I was literally *shaking* at the end of it.
Then I tried it by myself and, contrary to my every prediction, I lived through it! Hell, I even killed a guy! I decided that that was enough and booked it towards the boat to have my adrenaline-induced parkinsons subside since I was NOT feeling good despite being overjoyed to have not died in my first solo round.
Then in my last game with that same buddy we spawned next to a 3-man spear team and all died.
Fun game, but not my thing.

Always wanted a singleplayer version of a game with these beautiful maps and guns. Multiplayer is too stressful in this game tbh.
Nomad, Psycho, Alcatraz, and Prophet
I love the whole crysis series and I played them mostly on consoles so it's got nothing to do with them melting PC's for me. They're amazing games with a lot of player freedom, a sick sci fi storyline, beautiful environments, and great mechanics.
So many videos in such a short time! I’m impressed! I appreciate you trying to cover different topics, despite what UA-cam does to people who take two steps outside of the pot they’re forced to stew in. Though with semi competitive multiplayer games still seem like a theme. Has the creative process been much different creating the scripts for these videos?
It's harder for sure. With DBD I had grown really comfortable with the structure I used. Though I do want to learn how to write funnier/interesting videos. So even if it's hard, I want to try anyway.
maybe hunt is the best battle royale game you've ever played because it's not a BR, its an extraction shooter like tarkov and marauders.
the point of a BR is to eliminate all other players and be the last one standing, hunt's goal is to get the bounties and extract, and while it helps to kill the other players, it's not required.

Bought this game randomly years ago crazy addicted now.
I love to fly around with the beetle while waiting at the bounty.
Had a fun match last night actually where another team got to bounty number one and was fighting their way to the extraction point, meanwhile my team hit bounty number 2. Once we finished banishing we noticed that that bounty number 1 was sitting right next to an extraction point, and had not moved for almost 15 minutes.
So we decided to go and see what was happening. When we arrived. We found four dead teams. And the bounty just sitting there dead.
We picked it up and extracted, of course . But I would’ve loved to known what happened that ended up with four teams, killing themselves, and no one extracting.
Oh how surprised I am for you to cover this game, I hope you have many hunt adventures my friend!

You should turn off Motion Blur, it'll help you see enemy players much better. And definitely lower Anti-Aliasing to SMAA 1x.
Imagine a dbd crossover. Assassin as the new killer, could travel as a swarm of bugs around the map quickly and crawl on walls and over windows and under pallets, erupt from the swarm, if you strike 2 seconds after emerging apply deepwound. Scrap beak skin for artist, and idk some other skins?

Happy hunt is still getting some shine over the years, it really is a good game with interesting mechanics, 3-4 star lobbys are still some of the best rootin tootin shootin you can have. 5 stars are a bit try hard and 6 stars are just no fun unless you like camping in the bayou.
Good to see a fellow man of culture. I too, enjoy walking into the bayou and getting fucking clapped by people who are better at FPS games than me.

I switched from dbd to Hunt Showdown last summer. Glad to see this. The gunplay is so nice and slow (aside from the Avto but we don't talk about that)
Also important thing to mention: game is made for duos. (Though you can play solo or trio, and solos get their own mode; a more typical BR with finding loot and last one standing) Pick ups can be used twice (once by each player) there ar 2 bounty tokens. There are 12 players per match though servers don't have to be full and solos and duos can opt to play against trios (There is no solo queue for bounty mode, you go against duos at least).
PS. Rowby you concertina-bunkering son of a *howdy* come out and fight like a proper southerner, just like our inbred forefathers. (Real hunters main melee)

Minor point I don't think it's 20 person games. To my knowledge it's 12 people max each match unless they've changed it very recently.

Top tip. Either kill the boss really quickly with a bomb( unless it's the assassin) or kill it quietly with an axe or hammer preferably, or the bomb lance melee. Otherwise good luck
Or you and any potential teammates can grab axes and beat it to death. Works like a charm.

There are two versions of Hunt: Showdown.
1 to low 5* MMR (aka the fun one) and the Mid 5* and up game (the one where you want to uninstall).
"Until you hit MMR 5 then uninstall"
