It's all default setup. I didn't have chance to change much because of frequent RSDs. I expect manufacturers to do some configuration and testing before shipping so users won't experience issues right away.
It takes some tinkering to get it optimal. No, the Chinese don’t do much with configuration. I noticed on your video that F8 was set to Files and not to menu so it kept trying to access the SD card and not bring up the menu
I noticed you had it set on A+B VFOs
Try just one VFO at a time
F8 is working, but you are selecting files. Sorry, making comments as i watch the video
And your B VFO is set to DIGI whuch is not the same as VFO A
Your not selecting menu but files on the menu.

I got the RDS a few times when I first got mine, but once it was setup, I have never seen the RDS since
There is an Auto-calibration option which does it for you
If it is not for you than that is ok. For the RDS I would have reinstalled the firmware
