My dear God I would love to go to that place! I'm so jealous! Thanks for sharing this 👍👍 even the broken ones, glued in a frame or shadow box would be gorgeous!
You're breaking my heart dropping the slightly chipped ones! My son and I get so excited to find one or two marble a year along a river as we love them! Fun to see this cullet for sure.
Wow never seen any one else hit a spot like that. The marbles are enough but the glass mistakes waste are just as beautiful maybe even more so. Your blessed to have such cool hunting digging spots. Cheers thanks many regards from Ireland 👍🇮🇪☘
My mom used to tell my dad that he lost his marbles! He worked construction and would often find a marble or two and bring them home to my mom and tell her he found his marbles! My dad is 93 now I'll have to tell him you found some of his lost marbles! Thanks for the fun video!
Love those marbles & glass, and watching your adventures!
Thank You for stopping by and taking the time to comment.
Talk about losing your marbles! Hahaha thanks for sharing the cool finds. Awesome stuff buddy 👍🏻
Nice haul! Make sure you don't go up too far unless you have permission from Frank, the land owner. There used to be a sign on a tree showing as far as you could go. I have been going there since 2005 and found many thousands of marbles and cullet . We had permission from Frank to go all the way up , as long as we picked in the channel and not dig into the bank at the source of the dump. He spent years filling it in to prevent erosion. The stained glass manufacturer also dumped there and I found lots of chunk glass and stained glass off to the right as you come out of the tunnel. climb the bank and follow the ditch south and up to a flat spot . Of course, it's much better when there is some water there.

@@Smallie888 Back in those days the glass companies dumped scrap glass wherever they could find a place to put it. Many folks around town would call them up if they needed to fill a hole or low spot on their property. Some folks used the glass as back fill around foundations or as a base for driveways. Glass is nothing more than melted sand. In the case of that particular spot , it is a big gulley that has had lots of fill put in over the years such as chunks of concrete and other construction materials like gravel , sand , bricks and rock. The gully isn't a creek, but when it rains, water comes down the hillside and travels through the gulley, pulling the glass along , slowly making it out to the river. The two glass companies in town recycle all of their scrap glass back into the products these days and have been, since about the mid 70's.
@@denverpelkey5725 Which road is this tunnel under?

Marble heaven
A few years ago my son was doing a job in Louisiana and found a lime green piece. Around 6 in in diameter. We have nothing like that in these areas. A year or two later I found out it is uv reactive. After watching your videos, I’m wondering now could it one of those someone found and brought here? What do you think? Are they found that big or could it just be a rock?
I am not sure. They made lots of glassware too out of that. Bowls....and all that. Most of this glass this place mkes marbles from and other places. They bought from glass factories. So some factory made it someplace. someone will know for sure.
Digger Dave Beeler on here may know. I kind of figure from watching that guys uploads. He has like 50-60 years of experience and knows what he is talking about,. He may know exactly what it is

Hey Joe where about do you dig I was just there and I couldn't find any?
Hey Rocks! Wow that glass is awesome! The errors are really cool too . Can I buy some from you? My Lady freaked out when she saw it ! I sent you my email address. Please let me know how much money to send ! Thanks for another awesome video !
How much marbles
Is the creek township property or is it private
It is like state some of it...railroad. After 1 trip though it is old.....or a few trips. The marbles are far nicer on town dumps. After you dig a few huge buckets of cullet and the marbles are all the same basically.....the best thing to do is find a town dump...and dig there. You have a chance at all the marbles ever made. And they are there on a town dump in 1930's to 1960's trash
I dig dumps
could you send me a blob of error blobs?!please id love to try to nap an arrowhead
