Thank yòu!!! Had a marble guru once....lost him😢 But then I foundyou!!!😅 love the info and strait talk...hard to find in sacramento, CA. Every marble here has a history...thanks for helping me fill some gaps! Peace and roll on!
Awesome video Stephen. Your videos have helped me identify most of my collection over the past few years , you have got many dozen views from me on most all your videos. Good stuff . Thanks for sharing the extslagavaganza i definitely needed this one . Im getting ready to sell all my slags , around 300 . Ive got 100lbs of cat-eyes wity few others mixed in i need to move to . Thanks for sharing
@lukedukeoutdoors5110 same guy would be interested in yours ole buddy . He'll buy or trade . It's the only marble type he collects an he loves em . I get first pick of all his an his moms auction buys .
I have 8 old Mason jars full of marbles my grandmother collected, she was born in the 1920's...I don't know where when or how she acquired them...wish I knew an expert to help me know exactly what I have. I feel like the potential for finding some very rare ones in this collection is very good.
I can't believe you have made this video, two days ago I was looking at my slag marbles and said ( l sure wish Stephen would make a slag video )and here it is , how aussom, thank you
Thank you John , I’ve been meaning to get to slags for a few years. Thanks to Rich, we were able to put together a complete guide covering all the different styles here in one upload.
@@stephenbahrmarbles I’m sure ur a busy man friend and definitely appreciate the time you spend on videos to help us. Hope ur doing well and if there’s anything I can do to help you out just holler brother. Godbless ya
Was VERY surprised to see my great uncles tax returns posted, had to take a screen shot of that, t.y. so much for the continuous educational videos Stephen. Happy holidays to you and yours.
Another great video sir! As far as the punk rock fish logo that is for the band Blink-182. I used to see them in the mid-90s when they were just called Blink.... some Canadian band of the same name threatened to sue them so they added the 182 last time I saw them was with the vandals and assorted jelly beans at the Nile Theater in Mesa Arizona P.N.D.!!
I'm not that good. I just pick all my different slags out by hand put them in the same box and call them hand gathered😂 next I'll make a post of this and put it on UA-cam . Viewers argue over which one is which. Fun stuff
i keep hearing that chances are likely an akro slag because of the length of time the company produced marbles. But does anybody know how many years akro produced slags or verified numbers produced from company records? if not i think it could be a mistake to assume that akro produced much more than the other slag companies. i mean if slags fell out of popularity at a certain time, akro doesnt keep producing slags so years of production could be very similiar. there are other variables that would no doubt dictate production numbers of slags in certain years.
Hi Su, those old production records are not available. These are just our observations, based on their slag style and the commonness found in our sample sizes.
@@stephenbahrmarbles I am 54 years old and have been buying coin collections for over 30 years. A lot of times I need to purchase everything these people have and that includes marbles. Thanks Shabby! Actually - the fishy logo goes way back to the ‘70’s & ‘80’s from a punk band called “Flipper” from San Francisco ✅

When you talk about the color of slag are you talking about the slag base color or the stripe color?
We’re referring to the base color, the swirl color is always white on a slag occasionally you will see yellowing on the white. ☑️
