What a great video you guys. WOW just awesome filming, stories and editing. Thanks. We haven't seen one of you videos in a while and glad to see this one today.. Love you and Yuka.
Hello everyone! Thanks for coming to watch the video! It defnitely took some time to put it together! If you'd like to watch Van Girl Yuka's video, you can see it here: ua-cam.com/video/qEGaMW4PiRk/v-deo.html If you'd like to visit South Sky's website, you can click here: www.southsky.bike And if you'd like to support the Songo program check out this link: songo.info
I've missed this channel so much. I started mountain biking last year and binged this channel to make it through the winter season. Honestly, the best mtb channel out there.
Im reminded again why I'm so blessed to live in Cape Town and call this beautiful part of the world home. We really do have some fantastic world class trails. Thank you Eric and Yuka for visiting and showcasing our proud heritage. You make us all proud.
I always come to your channel expecting beautiful footage and entertaining commentary, but didn't expect to get emotional the way I did watching you ride with those kids. Immediate donation from me :) This one was really special - amazing work as always, Eric and Yuka. Sending love from Abbotsford!
Being injured at the moment, I’m watching a lot of UA-cam. Having a BCPOV + a Yuka video on the same day is a perfect way to start a playlist😂 Your videos are next level for content/image quality/editing etc. Just the best
@@SgtDPickle I have an herniated lumbar disc. Couldn’t ride all summer , had to cancel a father and son bike trip in Arizona and might get surgery (3+ months recovery)… Healing vibe to you.
I was waiting for sooo long for a new video, I looked on youtube everyday to see if you posted a video :) You are like the most underrated mtb channel, you would deserve like a million subsriber ! Anyways, love your videos ;)
Great content. When I watched Yuka's video, I did wonder at the privilege aspect of riding in vineyards. Glad you saw it too and investigated the flip side of the divide in S.A. and found the ray of hope. That is some fantastic storytelling!
Wow Eric, this video really moved me. I travelled to South Africa back in 2005 and have been wanting to go back ever since. Your storytelling gets better every time. Great work!
The shot with Yuka in the bed of the truck looked like an ad for either the truck or the trail park (if it's a park)🤣. I have to say, BMX kept me out of trouble I probably would have gotten into at that age. I hope it works well for this town also.🤙🏽
Your videos are so underrated- you should have 4.31 million subs not 431k. Thank you for taking me to another place again and sharing that beautiful moment with those kids and their smiling faces. Blessings to you and Yuka!
Thanks for the great video! It's cool to see you and Yuka's journeys to different places and enjoy the riding and atmosphere of your destination. And showing the otherside of such a great area was a class act. It was good to see you interacting with the kids at the bike park. That gave me some incentive to look into getting some buddies together and give it a try. Thanks again and i'm looking forward to the next video..
Don’t know how long Yuka has been riding for since her accident from all of us here in the UK glad she’s back riding And just seeing Those kids happy smiling and shredding and you guys hitting the road gap is worth 3 month wait for this video
Thanks BCpov. I've missed you guys. Great edit!!!! Bonding with those kids was very genuine. That's why you're my favorite UA-camr... South Africa, such a beautiful place.
This is one of your best videos, I showed this to some of my friends and family, they started to understand why I love mountain biking so much. Thank you.
Such a rad video! My local trails - I have a video on my first Banhoek mission on my channel as well, next time we go, the river gap is on the cards! I also hit DH on Jonkers for the first time a few weeks ago. My next video will be about Jonkershoek! Thanks for doing our lovely country justice!
I've been waiting for another Eric and Yuka mtb adventure video and you guys as always did not disappoint!! Such a beautiful place to ride. Well done on the road gap and truck jumping 👏 🤙
The thimbnail with the Bantam got my attention. Zooming in nd seeing the CEM reg number made me really want to watch this video. And hearing a foreigner using the local word for a pick up, made my heart happy
I absolutely love the cross reference of vids.... I follow you both, and watch both vids....but what a great idea to increase audience for each of you!!!
Great video. One thing about your jumping - you are often not timing your jumps properly or using all of the jump face to get maximum lift from the jump - you are popping too early. Concentrate on using all of the lip. Good luck.
would you ever consider doing a video on the other trail you built? maybe a check up or adding a feature? i would love to see it and or see another trail building video. btw what is the name of the trail? i know you mentioned it in a video but i cant find it. as always, a great video this one. stay gnarly.
BCpov, you have, without even knowing it, inspired me and many others with your videos.. Around 5 years ago was the first time I stumbled onto one of your videos. I was just scrolling through UA-cam knowing nothing about mountain biking and a video of you popped up, this was from back in your days of Half Nelson in Squamish and early Whistler stuff. I remember watching you weave through the trees incredibly fast, just having fun and being you. Little did I know the journey this would start for me. Watching your videos led to buying a bike (literally from Walmart) and start my riding experience. Fast forward 5 years and I'm working at a bike shop, riding a bike that's worth more than my car, and traveling the world having the absolute time of my life... All because of you. You are the channel that started it all for me, and because of this I will be forever indebted to you. I will support you and Yuka as long as I can because you are the ones who started it all for me. Thank you Eric. Your videos truly change lives. I would never have discovered this happiness and my inner peace if it were not for you, your videos, and your amazing wife Yuka. Thank you. I can only hope and dream to be able to ride with you all one day. Please keep making videos, at your own pace, as long as it makes you happy. They definitely make many of us happy. I hope I can inspire people the way you have inspired me.
Hi Erik, I’m in Bellville about 15-20mins from stellenbosch, I REALLY REALLY suggest you go to Bloemendal in Durbanville and Meerandal in Durbanville and Hoogekraal (probably my favorite)
Amazing video Eric. You guys having the opportunity to contribute to the joy of the children in the Songo program was spectacular. Thanks for sharing this video with all our MTB community.
We loved having you guys in Stellenbosch! Never a dull moment with you two. Thanks for the amazing videos and good times!
Thanks for having us!
@@BCpov Never expected you 2 to come to my home country, it was an awesome video!
You guys should ride in japan! there are some cool mtb parks there and you might learn how to use a bidet!
they have! there are videos on both their channels from a while ago about it
What a great video you guys. WOW just awesome filming, stories and editing. Thanks. We haven't seen one of you videos in a while and glad to see this one today.. Love you and Yuka.

No way, this morning I woke up and was like, when was BCpov's last video, its been a while. And here we are!
i was worried you wouldn't mention the flip side after you visited to richer parts, until 6:10
Might be your best video to date, the amazing trails and riding combined with showing off the locals and kids was very entertaining and educating
I always come to your channel expecting beautiful footage and entertaining commentary, but didn't expect to get emotional the way I did watching you ride with those kids. Immediate donation from me :)

Same here. 1 week after surgery to plate up proximal humerus fracture. Jealous of anyone riding.

Great video Eric ! Hopefully you and Yuka will get more sponsors in other countries. Your adventures are like mini-documentaries!
Wonderful video, riding with local kids made this extra special.
Dude! I love the "We should park your truck under the road gap because it'll make a good thumbnail" logic. It's sound! 😂
Haha! The UA-cam life! 😁
the wait was worth it, what a video! Glad you could make it to Africa.

Awesome video. It’s great what they are doing for the children.
Great video that made me do a small donation to Songo. Happy holidays to all!
You gotta know it’s a good day when you get to watch good riding!
Amazing content mate, always excited to see Yuka's courage and determination of course you as well ... keep coming! safe ride!
Imagine the looks on the faces of the regulars if you snuck those kids into Stellenbosch for a good rip!

Great to see you here in SA!! Are you coming to KZN? We have some epic riding here near Durban
Good job, and great video...thank you for sharing your African adventure with us!

such a heartwarming video!
Yea!!! Finally a new video, I’m definitely gonna enjoy this video, and watch it 300 times like all videos! Thanks for sharing this adventure!!
Those kids were awesome!
great video Eric!
Thanks Nic!
Really enjoyed this video 👍
most of the trails in the intro were my dad's trails!!!!! no way!!!!!
also my dad bult every single trail in jonkershoek and he built afterburn too
I can't be the only one to notice the AI generated voice over.
BCpov please explain!!!
Like idk, something just feels really off with the voice over.
Sweet channel. Loving this one. GREAT job!
Great video & riding !! 💯👍
Great vid, you two are brave
I now know the exchange rate for ZAR to USD, hopefully they can expand and add another 100+ kids to the program. Great job guys.
So glad you’re back! What a great day
I've been waiting for so long, finally you uploaded another video. Why did it take you so long to upload your video?
Beautiful video Eric! Like always. Loved the part about the kids rocking these bikes!

Its been a long time
U were in my county
BTW when doing pump tracks have your back suspension locked out
it makes it easier to pump and pedal.
I ready appreciate both of your videos on the same subject. Your differing perspectives are very informational and entertaining!
Love it
Your problem is not more speed. You need to learn how to pop off the lift better. You obviously have no BMX background.
What has happened to you guys? You hardly ever post anymore. Can you make a video about it?
such a beautiful video. what an epic adventure !!
Always good to see a 70 series Land Cruiser in the wild....jump it next time :)
Love your guys's channel always been a favorite of mine! i was wondering why you guys have been posting less?
would you ever consider doing a video on the other trail you built?
maybe a check up or adding a feature? i would love to see it and or see another trail building video. btw what is the name of the trail? i know you mentioned it in a video but i cant find it.
as always, a great video this one.
stay gnarly.
Great video. I was hoping there would be more content from Australia?
First time in your channel. The ride with the kids ❤️ keeping out of troubles.
I just woke up and saw this! I haven’t watched it but I am so excited!!!
Please make a build video soon!!!!!! maybe a new stone starlet feature??? Wooden wall ride/ wooden berm?
Awesome adventures and a touching story about the kids bike camp.
Watched both of your videos and so much fun... awesome
You should come to cascades and Karkloof. Cascades was a track on the World Cup circuit

Thanks for the heartfelt message Zack! UA-cam has been tough for us lately, so it's wonderful to hear that :)
What a great program! Made a donation ❤❤
Thanks sister. me too 🙂
Just wondering what type of trail bike would be the best for someone who knows a little bit on how to bike but doesn’t want to spend a lot of money.
You guys should go to chestimere bike park in Alberta
Great video Eric...awesome looking trip.
I live in South Africa and u should go to Plettenberg bay there are some great trails there
what bike were you riding. were you riding the stumpy or stumpy evo
Erick, in this trails is the cape epic race, i saw last years and was sooo nice!! thank for this really nice video, nice teaser cool!
Cool Ford Fiesta baki. I worked on the Fiesta interior in the 90s👍👍😍
this like when people lie on the top step and let people ollie over them. literally no risk and just looks ridiculous
Can I get some of those chicken feet? Also some of the bike trails would be nice
Hahahah you guys are killing it!!! In so many ways 🤘

Whaaaattttt...
What happened to the rest of the Australian video series?
I dare you guys to come to Athens Greece in Ymmitos mountain,
You should try a trip video around Europe, and try out the park there.
The kids gassed out trying to see themselves in the drone video was wholesome
