Spot on assessment of each blind. I’d back them directly but am a massive Generations fan. RR15 gives Generations a run for its money though, with RRSR CNF in third, and RR13 a distant last to the rest.
That day definitely did not suck! Awesome blind. I just got my RR15 delivered today, and you already know I'm cracking into that badboy tonight. Cheers man!
Great lineup. Still don’t understand giving the same consideration for nose as palate and finish. I want the pour that tastes the best not smells the best.
CNF was my fav WT product, until RR15. Still love CNF, as I feel it’s an easier, well balanced sip. But that 15 is just so dense in dark fruit & brown sugar flavors!
Seems fitting today as I picked up my RR15 back up in the mail today 🤗; it’s an exceptional bourbon that one is not enough haha. I feel I’m in the minority for CNF; while excellent I still prefer the palate on RR15.
I am still waiting for whiskey tube to do a Russell's 13 Batch ONE vs Russell's 15. The batch one is special. Much older than the 13 years on the bottle.
Agree my man! While all 13’s are actually older…b1 is definitely the special one & should be the contender to the line up. Love this blind though & Jason killed it. Really appreciate these videos!🥃
Just picked up a bottle of 13. Sucks to see it finish poorly in this quad bass, but it's 175-250 cheaper than the other 3 in my area. Drank it along with you, great juice, I'm good
Man I hate to object without owning all the bottles, I only have 2 out of 4 but, R15 won just past a neck pour…all the others were on their last legs or the bottle was wide open…wouldn’t that make a slight difference?
I guessed glass 3 was RR13 b3 based on your notes that it was “similar to WTMK BiB17.” I loved the BiB17 and the similarities caused me to become a RR13 fan. The first release, I liked, but just didn’t appreciate like b3. I have lined up a ton of them. B5 is my least fave. It can’t hang with the rest.
If it makes you feel any better, alot (not all of course) of the people who can "afford" these bottles, just plunge themselves into debt because of FOMO. Remember to take these reviews with a grain (really a heavy dose) of salt lol. I have been able to taste alot of unicorns and have found that many of them aren't markedly better than what can be found on shelves with a decent amount of effort. Im also not a oak hound so these super rare bottles, which usually have high age statements, aren't ones I feel all that bad missing out on. If stores near you do store picks, chances are you have quality bourbon/rye available that rivals these super expensive bottles.
I get it and I like Jason’s Channel but damn… I’ve had my fair share of allocated bottles too but I’m done with these price hikes and can find very good $100 or less bottles for me…
I was fortunate to get a bottle of Russell's 15 at retail. I'm waiting for the right moment to open and share with friends and family. Cheers!
Opened up my bottle of Russell's 15 last weekend and was blown away. It is one of the best bourbon's I've ever had.
When you said glass three tasted like Cherry Garcia ice cream, I knew it was Russell’s 13. I still love it!

The CNF is my favorite
Cheers! Always so much information and like always completely satisfying. The Show is Top Notch Viewing.

Who wins? I'm pretty sure Jason wins! Killer lineup; glad to see you do it (been waiting)!
I’m getting a Russell’s 15 tomorrow. Very excited to try it!
Great lineup. Still don’t understand giving the same consideration for nose as palate and finish. I want the pour that tastes the best not smells the best.
Who wins? I’m pretty sure you did, Jason.
CNF was my fav WT product, until RR15. Still love CNF, as I feel it’s an easier, well balanced sip. But that 15 is just so dense in dark fruit & brown sugar flavors!
Would like to find any of these under 300. They all sound amazing. Thanks for the comparison.
I have the CNF and Russel’s 13, would love to try the 15!
The most epic blind! Hoping to find a 15 to complete the set and do my own quad bass. Cheers!
I really like Russell's Reserve 10yo. It's usually available in my area. BTW I could drink WT 101 every day.
Seems fitting today as I picked up my RR15 back up in the mail today 🤗; it’s an exceptional bourbon that one is not enough haha. I feel I’m in the minority for CNF; while excellent I still prefer the palate on RR15.
I was going to skip the 15 but now you got me thinking again. Damn it 😂
I guessed 15,13,GEN,CNF and................... 1/4........ Nice Quadruple Bass!!!
Great review. Would love to try the 15. I know why the orders for it crippled the web site. Thanks.
Love this blind! Jason C for the kick ass win!
15 all the way but I liked 13 as number 2. Great matchup!
Batch 5 RR13 has such an incredible palate. I’d be surprised if it didn’t fair better in the same blind b
Excellent review!
Would love to have a pour of any of these. Go Turkey!
Dude what a flight!!
the Alex Van Halen of whiskey head to head to head to head🤘🥃😜
Exactly how I thought it would end up.
Never seen any of these at the stores🥶

You had a great day.
I think that Russell's 15 is very similar to the Maker's 12 year. A red licorice, cherry bomb.
Good stuff
Fab video again!!
With the quad bass; scoring 1,2,3,4 points per category (4 being best, 1 being the least) would give a more nuanced score.
My daily sipper is the 15😂
Who wins? Jason does. Wish I could try these beauties.
Great comparisons. It’s interesting - will folks pay the $400-450 to get RR15 while you can still grab CNF SR for $350…
Just picked up a bottle of 13. Sucks to see it finish poorly in this quad bass, but it's 175-250 cheaper than the other 3 in my area. Drank it along with you, great juice, I'm good
Dang, this is one of those reviews where I hope the bottles I don’t have are in last place. lol. So much for that…still need to find a 15yr.
This video = greatest blind ever!!! Cheers
I just started the episode (intro rolling) and I’ll tell you who wins right now…YOU! 😂
I wonder where the Masters Keep 17yr Bottled in Bond would have ranked.
The four gobbles 😂
Man I hate to object without owning all the bottles, I only have 2 out of 4 but, R15 won just past a neck pour…all the others were on their last legs or the bottle was wide open…wouldn’t that make a slight difference?
I can get a RRSR F or a GTS for basically the same price....which one would you get????
Good call on the dark glasses to hide the color of each one and avoid spoilers.
French Oak Battle. Options:
Makers Mark 46 Cask Strength
Penelope Architect
Nulu
Old Charter
Dark Arts
RD One
Lucky Seven
"Who wins?" Uhhh, Jason C. does with this quad bass.
Finally tried Russel 15 while it is very good it is not worth the 500 to 1k secondary prices I have seen. Is it worth 250 I think so.
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo jealous! I love Turkey products.
@@TexasBoy-qv2pq what comes after 101, & before Russell reserve 10?

Who wins? Jason C for sure!
When you said let’s see who wins, I’m like, “you do!” Haha. Nice blind. Maybe someday….
WHISKEY CHEERS 😎
Always feels good when you call them all. The winner is…you. One hell of a line up!
What do you mean by bass?
Who wins?? Sounds like you are the winner Jason. LOL
Turkey Tuesday baby!
I’ve never been more jealous of you.
I mean..dude. this is like Neal Pert vs Bonham vs Danny Carey vs Portmoy...oh and RR13 & Bonham is my 2 cents 😊
These prices are ridiculous.
4 🦃 🦃 🦃 🦃 = Heaven😂
Wow. Surprised RR 15 didn’t win. Appreciate the blind
but it did
😂@@YoJimBo851610
Did we watch the same video? Lol
😂😂😂
So Glad I have CN-F Single Rickhouse in the Bar.
Can you add a caption that says the bottle while you’re describing it so we know what you’re tasting?
And before even watching. The winner is...Jasaon. Duh

What is a Bass?
@@ardyrides834 double bass is a drumming term meaning two bass drums. Since there are 4 whiskys. It's quadruple.
Well, okay.@@TheMashandDrum
A fish typically seen in largemouth, smallmouth, striped, etc. varieties.
135👍
you left out 101 the every day drinker to rule them all
@@mudshark412 that rules the shelfers.
Who wins? You win :) local store has the 15yr for 500.00 bucks :(
Must be nice to have $1,200.00 to spend on alcohol! Guess you don’t have a house payment? Cheers!
No bottles 1 I can find and 2 I can afford… fuck these high $$$ videos…
