@@SKRooU2 i think it's a matter of opinion on who is better, i was never really big into Kiss like that, but i always thought there best players were Bob kulick and Ace, Eric Carr drummer, and Peter Criss also a drummer. people said for years the lead guitarist in Kiss were always handcuffed or held back, but i have heard Ace on his own and he's good. i personally think he has a better rock voice than Gene and Paul, but Gene has more bass in his voice. i wasn't as familiar with Bob, but i remember seeing him with Kiss. by the time he came in, Kiss kinda fell under the radar in the late 80 's. I recently purchased one of these. I have a USA ESP M-1 single pickup guitar as well. I’ve found myself not comfortable taking my $3300 guitar out to the bar gigs. So I bought the 87 in hopes it would play well enough to use on stage. Mine was built in Indonesia. They make this model in Korea as well. They are both built to the LTD 1000 series standard and inspected by ESP once they arrive in the states. I have to say I’m very impressed. Mine is flawless cosmetically and plays great. My USA doesn’t have the boost switch, and I really like it and use it often. Yes, my USA has a fancier top and finer smaller appointments, but I got a lot more for my $ with the 87.
How is the floating tremolo? Every guitar I've owned has had a recessed tremolo with a cut out. As I understand it the M-1's tremolo is top mounted. Is there any chance of the bridge hitting the body?
@@afterdark6822 I got to try one in person yesterday- it can only dive/lower pitch- you can’t pull the Floyd back, because the food is already as far back as it can be against the body

Bruce defines 80’s KISS without him, I don’t think the make up ….would’ve came back. He kept kiss alive. probably the most technical lead guitarist. They ever had. He was kiss. Thank you, Bruce.
I have an original 1987 M I custom that is bad ass. I replaced the stock ESP pickups with a Seymour Duncan JB and a Duncan single coil. Great guitar. I like to try one of these out.
Must be nice watching White lion with original member. I know white lion only through mike's solo band in 2004-5🤔 ... Must be nice seeing Vito bratta playing guitar
I'm glad I got to meet you Bruce and I'm so sorry for your brother. But as for the guitar I didn't like the color when I first seen it but now I see it's reminiscent of the blue Charvel you had on the Kiss animalize tour you made that guitar smoke.

after Bob Kulick
Indeed. Though I’m glad you said “best overall guitarist” because I still think the best guitarist FOR Kiss was Ace

The guitar is really cool ... But, come on, I'm here because of Bruce playing the Kiss classics!
