Bruce is a monster of a guitar player easily the most technical guitarist KISS ever had
Great guy, I always respected how he handled himself.
Aside from Ace, there was only Bruce as far as I’m concerned. Cool guy. Humble and genuine. A great guitarist too.
Although I am a huge Ace Frehley fan, I do agree with you 100%! I had a chance to meet Bruce last year in Cincinnati, Ohio at a Grand Funk Railroad concert and he is absolutely one of the most underrated guitarists ever!! Maybe it's because he doesn't show off and act like he is great like everyone else does, but he is an amazing guitarist.
Got to be the most genuine rockstar around! Love u BK!
I met Bruce back in 2003 @ the 2nd annual kiss expo in Charlotte,NC. He was a very nice guy and took the time to talk with me and a female friend of mine, sign some memoirabilia, and take pictures with us.That meant alot to me as a fan for 30 + yrs.
Great to see humble, class acts are still out there
Bruce is an excellent player.nice guy too.really jams w/grand funk!
He holds his pick like me. My god there is hope.
kungstu22 or you hold your pick like Bruce lol
Also Paul Gilbert held his pick kind of like that in the early years.
Look forward too it.Bruce should be in Kiss.
Very underrated player
My favorite Kiss line up Bruce Gene Paul Eric Singer , they just sounded awesome
Thanks for putting on that ESP Jam Camp @ Mom's Music a while back Bruce, It's Gary, The guy who brought a VHS tape of Bruces Master Class to be signed by my two sons, Damn that shows my age a bit I guess.. Love the Vintage Dog too Bruce.. Gary/Hk
Bruce is a great player and comes across as such a genuine guy.
Just saw bruce in indy with grand funk great show thanks bruce
@Graemekiss yeah, tommy is a cool guy, but bruce brought kiss in a new era, and that era kick ass!
I love Bruce!
Omg at 1:42 that riffff
Love Bruce
Bruce is very cool guy. Met him many times
Bruce is so under rated. KISS messed up letting him go.
Bruce is a living legend
Sad news today little Joe passed :( Bruce is heart broken. I shed a bucket of tears after reading the eulogy he posted on his website. RIP Joe. Hope your in a better place
Great guitarist!!
I remember going to his guitar clinic in Adelaide at Allans music about a couple of years ago. I can't remember what he was talking about though.
Such a "Great Guitarist!.........And a Real Musician..... Real muso's r hard 2 find & Down 2 Earth!
Bruce is a beast🤘
The only kiss era i liked was with bruce!!!
love ya Bruce! KULICK for president 2012
Bruce is a genuinely nice guy. KISS crapped on him BIGTIME
they crap on everyone.
Gene and Paul crap on so many people. Bruce is one of many.
Bruce is a class act and my favorite Kiss guitar player after Ace. Met him a few times.
I do think that Paul and Gene did not give him enough credit in his years in Kiss based on some of their interviews saying that he was more of a shredder type of player in the beginning until they recorded Revenge where he finally ditched the flashy 80's style shedding. I do not believe that since KISS was definitely trying to stay relevant and keep up with what was going on in music at the time. Its obvious that Bruce can adapt to any type of musical style and that includes his guitar solos.
I also read that he never received a wedding gift from Paul and Gene when he remarried even thought they were there. Lol. Maybe he did finally months after.
@@jamesmarcin4787 So true, Kiss wanted the fastest gun in town just like everybody else in the 80's. Hell they hired Vinnie Vincent!
Great guitar player, and a better person a real nice guy...
Bruce is a great guy.
I knew there was an extra reason to like Bruce, the love of dogs!!!
bruce is a great guitar player. i dont have any speech to say.
Great player
Best KISS guitarist easily.
Bruce rocks
Bruce will be playing on the new Avantasia Album coming early 2013
where did u get that info from????Do you really think he would pass down playing with Kiss again then playing to 150 in clubs.
Bruce is a class act. He's no Fake Frehley.
true true
That would be Vinnie Vincent.
Lead guitar unsurprisingly was not played by Ace Frehley as he was not musically involved with the album and it was not played by Vinnie Vincent either; it was played by Steve Farris, who would go on to be the lead guitarist of the 1980s pop rock group Mr. Mister. Adam Mitchell also played in the final version of the song, replacing Stanley on rhythm guitar in the middle and end of the song.[2]
@lawlaw1 He was plugged into one of the amps at the back, the other two amps in the way would have made it quieter for the dog than it was for Bruce. The dog didn't seem to be in discomfort, so chill out.
Bruce could play rings around Ace any day of the week.
@SuperWannabeGuitar where did you find that information
never picked up on that anywhere, but i have seen Bruce live many times and have talked with him but would not have the balls to ask him as i dont think he would like it.
Bruce was technically more proficient than Ace no doubt... Ace had a more identifiable style...
Guitarists in the 80s had a tough time of it sounding unique and bringing anything 'new' to the table.
Ace had quite a few " Frehley isms" in his playing including an instantly recognisable vibrato..
Been to that hard rock at Wi kiki
Best part starts at 4:40
=D
Bruce
Bruce was GREAT in the Good Rats. Check out the "Great American Music" album! I liked him better with the Rats than with Kiss.
+Tommyr soundcloud.com/rkcmuzik/garden-of-tone LOVE BRUCE !
Bruce is the only player that can take Kiss to a higher level of playing, you just have to put on Revenge and there is know chance will see a cd like that again.
Funny to see the younger Mark in the background here ;)
What about his band Union?
@Luukeeeehh Nothing bad to say about Tommy, but after Revenge the band was going places again.
Funny. The dog almost bites norm and he calls Bruce coolick ? Not Kulick. Serves him right. lol
@Graemekiss yea exactly
What amp was he playing through?
Fender
@@Guitargasm1000 Thanks what year model Fender? Thanks
Guitar model?
@Graemekiss but yeah, that still dont make him a bad kiss member, he's te best
Rip joey. Btw, ive seen the guitar in gothenburg
Seems a pretty cool guy?? Rest of KISS seem to be EGO central. Pretty nice guitar player too!!
That dog looks like Gizmo. :) Cute.
@sirgerry Gene a control freak, and Bruce should be the guitar player now.
Joey probably remembers when Bruce was in Kiss 😂
I'd be worried about the dog pissing on the guitars
@Luukeeeehh He was the best member to have in Kiss,as he could push the band forward, and is much better player than Tommy.
Tommy should not be in the Band but i'm sure he gets paid fuck all to do the gig.
Who is kiss?
THE HOTTEST BAND IN THE WORLD!!!
The band with 7 ears?
rlta04 It's not funny
Just beat it. ... ... beat it
+rlta04 you must be like 10 years lmao
Norm, you shouldn't have mentioned what the fingerboard was made of on that PRS at 2:46. Now the Feds are going to raid your store like they did at the Gibson Guitars Factory. :)
@lawlaw1 Its not that loud...
i am more interested in his dog, does anyone know what kind of dog it is?
Bruce should be playing with Kiss now and not Tommy i'm sorry to say. What did Bruce do wrong with when he was playing apart from play killer solos and most of all is a great guy.Hope he gets his gig back one day but i dont think with Tommy up Genes butt it will never happen.
Dude, never knew Qui-Gon Jinn played with KISS...
All the lead guitar players for KISS are Legends.there were four..I saw kiss about 15x,s for the the lead players... The Band is ok ....
Ace Frehley, Vinnie Vincent, Tommy Thayer, Bruce Kulick, and Mark St. John. There were 5 different ones.
+Maxi Frost That is true. I'm a tremendous Kiss fan and as far as I'm concerned, Bruce Kulick was undeniably the best of the five various lead guitarists! I miss him being in the band.
~Dutch
awsum
That dog looks a lot like my dog.
@Luukeeeehh very true mate lol
Anybody know what breed of dog he has?? Serious ? He's cute as heck
it's a gizmo gremlin
That's a cat.
Will as im sure you know that kiss dosnt want to take of the make-up again, Bruce did get offerd the job but he didnt wanna be ace
🦘👄
@Graemekiss bruce didnt fit the space outfit
Those eq's had better be at noon....
bruce is so much better than tommy
Don't doodle on the guitar. It's not nice.
Bruce didn't want to play with makeup on, he wasn't forced to quit or anything.
Bruce was too good for KISS... If they kept him he'd just be holding back since they went back to the make-up era KISS sound... Guitarist's need room to grow, not copy another guitarist.
POOR DOG!!..NOT COOL KEEPING DOG THAT CLOSE TO AMP
PATHETIC HOW THIS IS THE TOP COMMENT
HE plays the same old stuff all the time Bruce is ok as a guitar player but does not change much same old smae old
