Thank you for listing the part numbers. After multiple trips to auto zone. They could not figure out the hose connector. So I had to pull this video up and show them the part numbers in order for them to get me the right part.
But why just after you transitioned? Doesn't seem like real love. Now, if you loved me before you transitioned and just now are making it known, I might be interested. Good luck with your next project!
Remember when removing the old parts just break them off. You will struggle and chip away with needle nose plyers and long pick tools it’s will make you mad, but don’t give up. If you have a small jig saw cut them off. Then buy the parts at Auto Zone help section. You gave the 3 way black and 3 way white one plus the single black nipple one. The black one has two pieces to install the 3 way connector and the nipple connector. The white one is only one piece if the nipple broke off the white one then you need to get a hose clap and another nipple connector. Also when you try to install the new parts use Vaseline on the rubber ring inside the new parts. Put Vaseline on the outside male parts also if not the water makes it hard to get that click sound when installing them. Believe me Vaseline will save the day. Also use Vaseline on fuel hoses to install them or any water hose.
Your wishes might have come true. Peep a newer video and let me know if I learned... but you can't please em all. BTW, whT is 'youbare'? Good luck on your fix!! 💪👍🤞
Take off the plastic wiper molding and plastic drain box off just below windshield (right above the hoses) maybe gives more room. (This was the case on my Cadillac may be different here though)
I just heard back from mechanic, he is going to charge $450 to replace the outlet hose assembly and parts. If I give him parts its $250...is that normal? This video is just 6 minutes and I did work on cars earlier. Never guessed this will be so expensive, but as he did the diagnosis should I still ditch him and do it myself or should I just pay him and call it a day
If they are for sure only changing the connections shown in the video, do it your self. But if some how he meant the heater core, have them do it. Just verify you guys are both on the same page of parts needing to be replaced. Something doesn't sound right.
Great video young man but I’ve been going through so much trouble with that crap I think I’m just gonna connect The heater hoses directly on like they used to do in the old days with hose clamps so that way I don’t go to too much trouble like I’m doing with this set trust me it’s not worth it. ✝️✝️✝️
This is a newer version of this video. The description lists all the parts necessary to get the job done, too. Let me know if it helps: ua-cam.com/video/UpF0JWp4KSg/v-deo.htmlsi=lIBU716iYNU_S2X9
I have a temper problem stems from high blood pressure. I put one of the in my suburban felt tight, crank up started blowing antifreeze everywhere. Thought about just burning the car.
I'm having the most horrible time trying to put the hose connector on. Is there anything else I can use as a lubricant in my home, like WD-40? I can't make it to the auto parts store right now. 😞
After it broke? I don't understand your question. You're going to have coolant in your heater core hoses at all times. That's how the heater gets heat into the cab. Now if you're getting coolant out of the hoses after you replace them then you probably don't have a proper seal.
@@ScottiesHobbies Sorry yes that is my question. I bought brand new connections but it was still spewing out after turning the car on. Today I got a thicker "o" ring and that seemed to stop the problem, but is that a true fix?
That is true. If you have a fuel line tool set, those usually have a tool in them. I'll post links to buy those tools in the description soon. Good heads up.
That HOSE is a pain in the ASS., took me like 4 hrs to look at how to take off., but then I realize how to take off more EASSSYYY!!! as 20 minutes took me to remove it... just USE A LARGE FLAT DRIVER, A Bernzomatic Torch ...HOW TO DO THAT::: Just heat it up the FLAT DRIVER ...when is HEAT ( FLAT) not all the flat-driver.... just point to small lines clips and push to cut ( You have to cut both sides of the security clips in both sides. and ready to take off ..

How about point the camera at the work area so we can see what youbare doing. This video is just of you changing a part

Thank you for not sugar coating the removal of the original cause yes it is a female dog!!! Lbvs

Great tip brother.
What is the difference between those two connectors, they look the same
How much spews out when you remove the hose? Or is it not too bad?
It all depends on how much coolant leaked out. Its pretty high in the cooling system so not much should come out.
@@ScottiesHobbies thank you!
What do you change that parts it’s for leaking because I have the problem with my suv it’s leaking

If you can make it work.... I agree with you 100. 👍
I don't know how old this video is but for some reason I can't see all the comments and therefore I cannot see the parts numbers that you listed

I know the feeling. So many times I've had to walk away so I don't end up destroying everything in sight.
Your temper problem doesn't stem from high blood pressure. You blood pressure stems from your temper problem and lack of patience and understanding.

You can use wd40. I wouldn't use too much tho.
@@ScottiesHobbies got it now. Thanks!
There is similar tie connector nearby (assume it's reverse line). Are these ties identical? I mean sizes, PN.
@Scotties Hobbies - I am also curious if the return adapters are the same? Mine appears to be leaking on the return side.
Thanks for this video really helped me out a lot!
It was very helpful
Thanks bro 👍🏻
Happy to help
i put just the connector to the hose .the new one was a bit more loose after i install .it
That is what we did to get home the night ours blew out.
How much would it cost to replace one on a 2006 Cadillac DTS???
$18.00 on Amazon
I replaced the whole thing n still getting a leak
From that same connection?
Couldn’t see a thing u did there
😪
We dont need to add new coolamt or freon ?
Probably put something in there. One time I broke down on the side of a highway and had to use creek water from a near by stream to get home.
What would be the reason that it’s spewing out antifreeze afterwards?

I need a good part # and name of that lube!!!🤣🤣👍🏾👍🏾💦💦
dont forget the lube bro funny
easy way to remove is by using a heater hose connector "Remover Tool" just saying.
That is true. If you have a fuel line tool set, those usually have a tool in them. I'll post links to buy those tools in the description soon.

Lol just screwdriver that sucker and tear it off, saves you 15 minutes of BS....new one installs in less than 5 minutes
@@Ruben901How about a dremel and cut it off. I’m 65 and don’t have much strength in my hands anymore.
