As a NMU alumni and resident of Marquette I can say that this video absolutely hit me so hard that I really really really need to use my realtor license and get back to Marquette! And you didn't even spend any time in the outer banks as we called it a while ago out by Gwen or out on 35 or a sugarloaf or a little presque there's so much you left out that is just ridiculously ridiculously common and Heartwarming to people that have lived up there. You hit what would be seen to locals as the tourist spots. Maybe one day when I do move back and I can die happy i'll be able to make a video nearly as well as this and I can only hope to do as well but do it from a local's perspective of someone who has lived there of all the spots that are glorious and give the area so so much character if so in as little detail. Harlow Lake, the cliffs of the mine i'm 35, the Museum of aircraft in Gwinn. Granted I won't be driving a white Lamborghini around Marquette anymore and people who read this and know what that means were there are many many years ago for that but man you caught so many good things and you really made me yearn for what is and what it means to live in Marquette in so many ways if only you scratched the surface!
Also hate to be that guy …. But Lake Superior is NOT the largest freshwater lake in the world . By surface area yes.. but the largest no …That would be Lake Baikal in Siberia . It is much deeper and has nearly double the amount of water . It is 5,670 cubic mi where Lake Superior is just 2,900 cubic mi. Just so you know
Marquette is the largest town in Upper Michigan. the Yoopers are so proud of their region, they want to separate from the Lower Peninsula. Yoopers and Trolls don't get along very well.
