RIP Sean and Tim!!! .... one of the most powerhouse raw emotionally full on songs ever written and so so sad the song writers are not here with us but their legacy touches the hearts of all of us and they live on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great to see it getting played but you need to listen to the original studio version to appreciate it. Highly underrated; one of my 'best song ever written' selections.
As an Aussie it's great to see this song has made it way to a younger generation overseas. Love it and great cover job!
Aussie band...Aussie song
I had no idea they covered this song by this awesome band in texas no less, Violent Soho is one of my favorite bands a long with at the drive in and mudhoney.
can't wait for sohos new album
happy Australia Day...great song
This rocked.
The intro conversation with the crowd was as good as the original song itself, classic Aus legends getting loose in texas, " tell me that has weed in it, if so its mine man " as a bottle is flying through the air haha priceless Everything after that point is not easy to watch due to the camera and audio unfortunately but still gets a like
I saw these guys at the Stepp Inn in like 2009 and the lead singer threw his guitar at my head... good times!
Oh you mean Luke, yeah he's a funny and crazy dude.
@99dangerman
Violent Soho are also Australian...
FUCK YEAH!
I fucking love this song. I hope VS do a version in a studio, perhaps Triple J like a version?
they already did man its on there self titled :D
Thanks!
fucking sick band!
excellent! f.y.i.-- do you want to attempt recording song cooperations using Bandhub =) I almost always record piano ... Both of us have to join forces at some point! That may be groovy!
I'm glad the song has survived, but I thought we were over slam dancing and crowd surfing.
i knew they were pot heads!...thats okay i am too and i fucking love there music.
@blaxter74
If the band approves shit audio quality like this then good luck to them.
Why bother recording a show if the camera audio is affected by the movement of the recording device... as for posting the clip on the web for public consumption with inferior sound and lousy visual footage. Does no justice to one of the greatest aussie songs ever.
8 years later, are you still pompous?
seriously? it may not fantastic, but it's still cool to know they covered a great song by such an awesome band, and everybody was having a ball, lighten up man.
It’s UA-cam bro , go cry into a pillow
