New Zealand PM could overturn some ‘madness’ from Ardern government

  • Sky News host Rowan Dean has expressed hope that New Zealand will have more of a “spine” with newly elected Prime Minister Chris Luxon.
Mr Luxon defeated Chris Hipkins' Labour on Saturday night, overseeing a landslide win for his centre-right National Party.
The National's leader is likely to partner with the libertarian ACT Party to form government.
Mr Dean said New Zealand’s former prime minister Jacinda Ardern “scurried off for cover” when she realised Labour would lose the election.
“Let’s see if they can overturn a bit of the madness of the Ardern years,” Mr Dean said.

You must have been lucky. Thousands of small businesses went under due to the lock downs 2020-21.The lock downs also caused thousands of Nzers to lose their jobs or loss of income and couldn't pay mortgages and other important bills. The vaccine mandates meant nurses and teachers for example who refused the jab lost their jobs. This all from a PM who told Nzers to be kind to one another.

*Luxton is Controlled Opposition*: Speaking to Breakfast this morning, Luxon said global warming is creating and impacting extreme weather events.
"If you're a climate change denier at the moment or even a minimalist, I just don't understand how you can hold that position to be honest."
He said it's important politicians work in a bipartisan way to combat climate change.
"There'll be many governments over the next few decades and it's important that we develop a framework to say well how are we going to deal with what is a very complex issue.
"There's a lot of complexity to work through as we think about actually strengthening our infrastructure so that we can adapt to climate change."
He says the National Party is "deeply committed" to Net Zero Emissions by 2050.

It will be good to get the NZ First Party in the coalition with National and Act as well. NZ First will be a good hand break on globalist policies like the UN sustainable development goals and UNDRIP, as well as the dreadful co-governance that is being sort after and pushed by the radicals and elite power greedy gold diggers. One Country, one voice with multiple cultures, we need unity brought back instead of all the divisive racist policies that drive a wedge between Maori and non Maori. I am a multi-cultural New Zealander that lives in New Zealand not Aotearoa, I am of both European and Maori decent, but I want the same rules, laws and services for all that works on a needs basis not a race basis.

What it does show, in NZ, and the new gvt should pay particular notice of, is that if you DON'T do well you will be voted out. I however am confident that the new politicians are way better listeners than the out going Labour, they only had eyes, ears and money for a minority group of kiwi's if you had a business of any sort they couldn't care less in fact tall poppy syndrome, prevailed and branded you as a wealthy person and wanted to tax you.. Understand that a country as small as NZ needs wealth to support those in need who rely on welfare, some just don't get it.
