Actually Contax, if you still remember that, used titanium on their camera covers back in the 90`s. Its not space age at all. That aside, hiding the LCD like this is a much better approach than just no LCD for the retro look.
Nice "quickie" review, but this is not a camera for the masses. The X-Pro aesthetic has been fairly consistent since its introduction in 2012. This is street/reportage-centric camera, not a general use shooter like the XT3. It is great that Fuji gives photographers options, even better that they've given us a worthy successor to the X-Pro2. Sounds like you've already decided. How are those Blue Flames going these days?
@@fellowcitizen "blue flames?"
'@@jimi3314 and the Blue Flames' were, I believe, Jimi Hendrix's first (or very early) band :)
danggggg. classic neg. is on fire.
Holy shit, those shots look awesome!
couldn't wait for it!!!
im so used to the x100 form factor. No fiddling around with screens and what not. take out turn on shoot , put away. So ok at the start i did not think of it as a deal breaker with the screen flip but it is really for a daily walkabout camera. Th IQ is fantastic though. i love the fuji colours.
You can always do a quick review in the evf. I have to do this half the time anyway...
Its like you are pissing on London! I love Kai!!
Techno Panda I never thought that would be legally possible but here we are 😂
If you do select this to sort that itch out, I would love to see a dedicated video!
My man Kai, bro stay awesome G
Kai. You like this better than pen f?
I’ve been a happy owner of Fuji X-Pro2. Now I’m an even happier one.
Actually Contax, if you still remember that, used titanium on their camera covers back in the 90`s. Its not space age at all. That aside, hiding the LCD like this is a much better approach than just no LCD for the retro look.
This is cool
Finally, Fuji has in camera HDR
So... will you be getting a Fuji?
What was the name of the building Kai went up in with the nice views of London?
Thanks.
I don't think Fuji will lament (or even expect) mass market sales numbers for this one. But then again, the new GFX-100 monster is selling better than anyone expected.
So did you purposely give yourself wings at the start of the video?
turn camera upside down for topdown shots Kai.
After 30 plus years as a professional photojournalist, I love this camera. It's design slows me down and remindes me of my Leica M6 film days
Kai, are you using auto mode?
If I hadn't strapped my camera to my wrist when walking around downtown I'd have dropped it many times over . I enjoyed your review Kai. Thanks
