Thanks bro! This one is on my "buy on sight" list, not for 300 of course but I;ve seen as low as 199, let;s keep our fingers crossed! Donner makes really good stuff (I recently had Donner Arena and it was a blast). B-1 is a gem that deserves a lot more praise. I bet these two will work perfectly together. Actually the D-1 is basically a groovebox, not just a beat machine... samples will do the trick! Donner's app also works like a charm, not a single problem with updates, installation etc. These guys know what they are doing!
I've been thinking about getting one of these. On can never have enough drum machines. Plus, you can use more than one at the same time in the same song. Your run through has kind of sold me on picking one up at some point
Now that you've had it for a couple of months have you tried saving a new kit with pitch changes? I've only had mine for a few days and when I go away from a kit with changed pitches, then come back to it, the pitches un-changed themselves. I'm thinking that the pitch change function might not be saveable, so either a) I'll have to re-pitch on the fly at gigs or b) download the offending samples, permanently change them on my PC then re-up them to the D1. My daily driver PC is Windows 10 and this thing WOULD NOT connect to it at all, I had to use an old Mac to upload my own samples. Great review, nicely entertaining too :-) Liked/subbed.
Smells are important to you! Some synesthesia does it! ;) I appreciate a manual, as I always have to print them and I only have a B/W laser. Soooo! Cool Donner!
It looks like this fills a different niche, not worth the price to me. Square, high quality drum pads like an MPC or Machine would have made it carve out its own space better, they got the 4x4, but it's right at the edge of expensive toy as is. Very different layout and IO from a drumlogue ...cheaper and looks it but lacks the traditional IO, is it hybrid or how does it compare? Drumlogue sampling is a joke though with the size limits and this looks way easier to read the screen and labels
Nb. Donner are failing to answer emails about this unit, I was pulling what remains of my hair out trying to get it hooked up to my PC ...the least they could do to make up is Uber Eats me a kebab.

I've had a ton of fun with mine! I love the feel and workflow.
Lmk if you have any questions or want to see any specific future videos on it. ✌️
@@Tiger.Arcade bro i think any vidja with your own samples would be awesome!
@@djkanyon 😎✌️ thank youuuuu
That distortion beat reminded me of a manatee on a pogo stick on a trampoline.

Hey, thanks for the sub! I’ve noticed a few bugs on mine. This is one of them I’ve experienced as well. :/ I also get some clocking irregularities.
All my knob gets is resistance.... And I do my own tugs 😂
😂😂😂
I eagerly await news on your next release.

I’m all sensory! I love the feelings, smells, sights, etc. I just avoid the taste portion 😂✌️
@@Tiger.Arcade I concur!
Now I know how run the jewels gets their sound

Great! Does it have more punch then the Drumlogue?

In some ways yes, in more ways, no.
I get my donners from eat machine…fantastic kebabs 🤣
🤤
I dunno about smelling that offgas but it sure is a cool machine. 😊
☠️ ☠️☠️
Polyurethane always off gasses it's called new car smell, only slightly toxic, the isocyanate has been activated but will still leech out
Can I output the Kick to a separate channel? For example, headphones out/
Not that I’ve discovered 🤷♂️
Sounds good 👍
Thanks for checking it out! ✌️
Touch reactive knobs like novation
