    O2 sensor replacement
    Bank 2 sensor 2
    OBD2 codes P0157
This car also happens to have P0154 and P2247 which is Bank 2 sensor 1. Replacing that will be a separate video. b2s2 P0157 showed up first but didn’t fixed it until now.
At the time of this job the online quoted price estimate was about $300. By DIY my price was about $36 including the special O2 socket Tool
This took me about 2 hours including filming, jacking up car and jack stands the filming which could be better I know.
This was only the 2nd time I have replaced a O2 sensor. Oddly the first time was also b2s2 but on 2001 Maxima.

Bank 2 Sensor 2 was a major pain in the behind when replacing. Had to find a socket on Amazon and managed to remove and install the new sensor. Especially with the very narrow space you have to remove it. Glad I was able to remove the sensor

@DatCarGuy350 yep I had to use that o2 sensor socket. Bank1 sensor 2 might be more difficult.
Glad you were able to get it done

    Good video.
    I have an '07 Odyssey.
    Engine light is on.
My scan tool tells me that 'this' sensor is my problem.
I'm debating doing this myself.. or just taking my van in to get it done and letting my mechanic charge me whatever.. :-/

its not that difficult to change but, I would use a NTK sensor or Denso. I did have to jack to car up and put on jack stands. I am not in the Rust belt so I didn't have to deal with Rust. if I remember correct S2 O2 Sensors are more $$ then S1 . Also not long after S2 went S1 also failed on bank 2. That one is easier to get to. and I have a separate vid on that one.
honestly the most difficult part of this job was getting the O2 Sensor un-plugged . I did have to get the O2 Sensor Socket shone in the video
This was only the 2nd O2 Sensor I have ever changed in my life. the other one was B2S2 on a 2001 Maxima.

thanks, this was B2S2, next vid is B2S1 much easier to get to but sensor costs more. after this It passed state emissions.

Getting off the plug can be tricky. This was only the 2nd o2 sensors I have ever replaced in my life. The plug is attached to something that slides off a mount . Then after that I was able to unplug it if my memory was correct. I was unable to get that on video due to fowl language but it did take me about 10 mins to get it if I remember correctly

@@dfields9511 I fixed it, it was hard but I did it. I had to watch 4 videos. You also need needle nose pliers to reach into the engine bay. The rear bank 1 and bank 2 sensors are the same and bank1 and bank2 front sensors are the same.

Fail. For not showing how you got the connector undone that’s the hardest part of this job. I still can’t figure it out.

Find the tab on it and push it in. There are two of them here . One for the plug. One that hold the plug to the fastener on the block . I removed . If it’s been on there a while it’s going to be difficult. If this a first time ever doing this on any car it’s going to be a little difficult . This was only the second time I have ever replaced a O2 sensor.
