Thank you for the video explanation. I have the same code on our 2006 Odyssey. About 6 months ago I did have a p0420. But I cleared it just to see if it would come back. It didn't instead I got this code. What do you suggest I should do? FYI I do have Engine oil leak. Replaced the valve cover (I think I will have to redo, Fel-Pro leaking) and last night spool valve gasket.
Thanks, and that depends on the price of a new one, and how difficult it is to remove the old one. If you try it, let us know how it works because we never tried something like that before.
I remember discovering how oil contamination from the outside, just like in this case where the front valve cover is leaking oil onto the oxygen sensor, can ruin the sensor. I discovered that all O2 sensors are vented to the outside either through a small hole or "breathe" through their wire connectors and have no vent hole. It turns out the O2 sensor incorporates a vent to outside ambient air for a reference to compare to the oxygen level in the exhaust gas stream. I assume B2S2 may also soon fail because of the oil leak on this Odyssey. Have you ever seen an O2 sensor fail because of external oil or coolant contamination?
Hi, I have an Honda H-RV and has 2 error codes (P0131 and P0151): P0131 - O2S(HO2S S1 voltage low) P0151 - HO2S B2 S1 low voltage How can I be sure about the problem and how I fix it!!? Regards from Mozambique!
@@OnlineAutoRepairVideos so that means i have to replace the catalisct converter. Couse I tipe the code on Google and its says oxigen sensor upstream bank one. Now i'm confuse.
Hey Christopher, did I say it was suppose to stay still? If so, let me know so I can edit the video. It is suppose to fluctuate rich to lean. The code will set if it stays lean for a predetermined amount of time, without going to rich.
Astral Auto Repairs doesn’t matter if is the downstream sensor ? I know that the upstream sensor have to fluctuate up and down , but the downstream have to do it too? Really help your explication 👏🏼 maybe you should do a video explaining the operation of boths sensor 🙂 , really like when u dress with the lab coat and all that , have a nice day Timmy

this is the best video showing the location of the sensor. i have one question, which side i can reach the sensor #2 from, driver or passenger side?
Ur the best that described my situation thanks 🙏🏾 bro Thugology
Thanks!
Great job
Thanks!
Great vid . thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Experiencing the same code on same year Odyssey now. This is a great help, thanks!
Is it worth trying to clean and reuse O2 sensor?
Thanks, and that depends on the price of a new one, and how difficult it is to remove the old one. If you try it, let us know how it works because we never tried something like that before.
Make video change catalytic converter bank 1 Honda Odyssey 2007,thanks
My daughter said you sound like Kevin Hart.
Lol, I get that a lot!
You really do man. I have been thinking to same thing.

No, not at all and you have definitely taught me something.
Nicely done.
Thanks
I have that problem with my Honda now
easier to get to that sensor from underneath the front of the van or the side
Hi,
I have an Honda H-RV and has 2 error codes (P0131 and P0151):
P0131 - O2S(HO2S S1 voltage low)
P0151 - HO2S B2 S1 low voltage
How can I be sure about the problem and how I fix it!!?

Great video! Is the Bank 1 Sensor 2 O sensor a Downstream or Upstream one?
THANKS, and that would be the downstream. Any O2 sensor AFTER the catalytic converter is considered the downstream.
@10:53 the kid playing hide and seek behind the hood.
Lol, hadn't noticed that before.
@@OnlineAutoRepairVideos It really adds to the value. I've always liked playing "Where's Waldo"
I have a question i have 2006 honda odyssey. With this code P0420 is says is oxigen sensor problem.
P0420 is a catalytic converter code.

Whatever website you found that in is completely wrong. Google it again
@@OnlineAutoRepairVideos ok, I google again thanks.
Thx u thx u I have a 2001 honda accord 2.3 with a p0131 and p0151?!!!?? Lol
Seems like you have a bad O2 sensor, but first check the voltage to it. One wire will be hot with ignition ON, and one wire will be ground.
Where are you located at
Rocky Mount, NC
So Timmy for the o2s read or report good values doesn’t supposed to fluctuated like that ? Soo is have to be steady? Rich or lean position? Thanks

Christopher, I THOUGHT THE SAME THING, but I did research on the code before I presented the info in the video, and I was just as shocked as you.
AL539B is a beast.
This tool is surprising me with what it can do!
hi if by come the namber 000 same if i give some gas seem
Idk why but you look at least 10 years younger in this video lmao
LOL, the only difference is we had to shoot this video using the phone, but appreciate the compliment, lol!
Please reply back
Just telling us you have a problem with your Honda, is NOT asking for assistance. Also, you will have to give us A LOT more detail than that.
It’s the same code pop up p0137 in p0171
An I wanna no if it’s the up stream or down stream???
@@bobbysmith1910 It's all explained in the video.
Quick question I have a power staern leak can that also trigger that code
Looks like precious was distracting Silvia lol
Lol, she was distracting me too
