Everyone knows that extroverts and introverts see the world somewhat differently. We at Bright Side thought it would be interesting to illustrate these differences using specific examples. The results really make you think just how different we can be.

You make introverts just look shy and self centered. Not true at all. We look at the world from an outsiders point of view. We prefer to occupy ourselves with our thoughts and quieter activities. We still love socializing, just with a smaller group of closer friends. And we don't always fit into these categories.

Kayla Genereux well I’m an introvert so ,I might as well tell you,. An introvert is a shy person that doesn’t like social interactions, only with close friends that they’ve got “adopted”by. (As I like to say) after to much of social interactions, they will need a littl bit of alone time til they feel comfortable again. They’d rather be alone but they don’t necessarily “hate” people. Hope that explains it. :)

Introverts can do very well in social situations, they just do not seek them out, or even want them, though they can enjoy them, but it takes a lot of energy from them since they prefer to be alone with their thoughts-seeking enjoyment from within themselves... You can be shy AS WELL As introverted, but they are not the same.

Yo, introverts arent SCARED of people. We don't like interacting with others. We aren't hateful, or dumb, or spend time pondering out response. We blurt out what comes to our head. Also, WE HAVE FRIENDS THAT WE ARE EXTROVERTED AROUND.

I think you are mislabelling introverts as shy and socially awkward. That isn't necessarily true! Introverts need alone time, value personal space and will reject social interactions if they are tired. However, just because they like to be alone it doesn't mean they can't function in a social setting. I know lots of outgoing introverts who can hold a conversation with strangers just fine. It just depends on their energy level. On the flip side, there are lots of extroverts who like to be present in all social situations but might be shy to speak up! It just depends on the person.

I'm a complete introvert yet have a strong leadership personality. The majority of the points regarding introverts are things that I would see in people suffering from social anxiety or phobia. We are NOT that extreme. We don't fear conversation, we don't fear getting phone calls, we aren't bitter towards people, we aren't people who lack focus and can't be successful. I think you guys need to do a bit more research regarding this. It seems like the whole video was created by an extrovert pulling whatever experience/observations they've had with introverts and slapping them all together into one big blah. LIKE LITERALLY, INTROVERTEDNESS AND EXTROVERTEDNESS ARE THINGS WE STUDY IN PSYCHOLOGY. THERE ARE TONS OF FACT BASED RESEARCH ARTICLES REGARDING THE PSYCHOLOGY AND NEUROLOGY OF THESE BEHAVIOURS! XD They aren't that difficult to find! XD

I really dislike the stereotypes... I am by definition an introvert as I re-charge by being alone, but I can be very outgoing when I'm with people and at parties, I am not scared of the phone, in fact I quite like it, and I quite like small talk... i just need to recharge afterwards (which is the definition of an introvert), and have been told many times i am not an introvert, but it's these crazy stereotypes that make it seem like we have crazy social anxiety which is NOT TRUE at all!
I've almost always been an extrovert. I love being the center of attention and making my friends laugh! I love flirting, giving presentations at work, and parties. But, I also love to read and daydream, just not as much.
