The Faces were my first live gig back in 1973, and two years later my student band covered Stay With Me. We knew nothing of open tunings, and worked out parts from the piano sheetmusic. We had no piano player, the drummer had just a snare and a high hat. But we were good looking boys and the vocalist could sing, so we got away with it. Fifty years on, not looking quite as good and a lot less hair, so time to learn to play it properly and put it in the current set list. Thanks Marty.

I created a fan backing tracking track of this on my channel with guitars and vocals reduced, to practice what Marty is showing, the name the Faces comes from the UK Mod scene, someone well known in that scene was called a Face, were always well turned out and wearing the latest fashions, Italian suits etc, still a thing in the UK. How that became Leopard skin leggings for Rod, we can only ask him.
