I saw plenty of great bands back in the early 70s but by far and away, Rod Stewart and The Faces put on some of the most entertaining shows I ever witnessed. And throughout the show they always looked like they were having the time of their life doing it. What a talented and “fun” group.

i seen rod attented 2o shows as a Fan but had the privlage working for him 5 times so total 25 shows i can remember every show was amazing and even thou we are old now i see that wild side in rod after all these years just like me CALLIN MY NAME dancing singing going away but can still be taken away with rod on all the stories he has to tell us older or respectful people my age and still makes us feel wonderful to see hear live or other rod and ron {look alikes just diff color hair)the era we were born in will live FFFFForever and so will theses guys !!!You have made my life bearable and helped me threw thick and thin i will love you both till the day i die

jack flash actually Rod left the Faces, Ron did his solo album which Mick and Kieth helped him with, Mick Taylor left the stones and the rest is history.

I can remember when this was first shown on MTV (Back when it WAS music television). This was the unplugged that skyrocketed the whole thing into the stratosphere.
Every major band after this was wanted for an unplugged special.
Poison, aerosmith, all the way to nirvana and many in-between.
This just exploded, and it not only made the MTV unplugged show a sensation, it gave Rod Stewarts career (which was kind of flagging, but still not too bad) a huge boost and reminded everyone just how great he could be.
And of course Ronnie Wood; simply awesome.
