Thank you for doing this. This is an awesome explanation of setting up and using the L1. This is not inexpensive by any stretch but seems quite simple to set up and use. I am seriously thinking about purchasing one of these.
Thank you I’ve owned the system for about five or six years and I’m still searching for more information on the tone match settings. Just looking for what I don’t know I don’t know.
I am strongly considering buying two of these for a 6-piece cover band. Two singers, two electric guitarists, one of which also does guitar synth (Roland GR-30), Bass, and acoustic drums. I have a friend who has one of these for his trio, and recommended using a separate mixing board and daisy chaining the two Bose systems. Our music style ranges from pop, country, and classic rock. We play small to medium sized venues....anywhere from 50 to 300 listeners. Is this system truly adequate for a band such as mine?
hi Gene, how would you hook up a Peavey 6 bluetooth mixer to the base part of the system. when help. say base part i mean the part thats on the floor with the wings. I don't have the touch tone mixer that came with it. i need help. thanks
Great video! I just got mine and the bracket that mounts the tonematch isn’t included in mine... Sweetwater is insisting it doesn’t come with it even after I had them watch your video! Do you know where I may find one?
You use one mono cable to plug in your ipad ? Don't you lose one side of the sound ? Whats the ultimate way to plug in an MP3 player without losing one side? Maybe use the 4/5 channel ? coming out of the mp3 with male stereo and then split cable to two mono's 1/4's ...Just purchased a Bose L1 Model II with B2 Sub and T1 havent recieved it yet?
I believe you can, but you would require a special AC Adapter from Bose (sold separately) then you would connect your T1 to the compact the same way you would with another mixer. It supports XLR and 1/4 inch plugs,

Hi Rebecca, time has passed since your post however, just wondering whether you bought the B2 and how did you manage with lifting the weight? I bought two B1s and sound is super. Jirehsupplies? Would you agree that 2 x B1s are as good as the B2... I am new to Bose too and purchased the L1 model 2 with the T1 that gives me lovely vocals. However, I believe that this system will be amazing when perfected and learned thoroughly as I am still 'tinkering' with it.
2 B1s is not equivilent to a B2 Bose uses a special cable so that it can detect how many speakers are connected and which model. This allows the amps to change the equalizer to be best optimized for the speakers available.. But for your questions a B2 is equal to the sound and power of 4x B1 subs with the required additional Pack lite A-1 Amp. The B2 produces a much fuller and punchier low end then the B1s.
Jirehsupplies? You helped me tremendiously therefore I thank you, great video. I would love to see a tutorial on how to really set the 'middle' part of the T 1 mixer. Basically to teach me some tips on how to choose settings focussing solely on the vocals to achieve a perfect tone. Any tips? Much appreciated and respect to you for your wisdom.

usually u should use the stero input on 4/5 for playback stero music from ur ipod ^^
