The fact they are adding ventilated and heated back seats to all trims is like the cherry on top for me

    That's a very good review.
The new crown was sold worldwide. In Japan, he is well known and sells well, but in North America he may not sell well because he is a newcomer.
The 2.5-liter 4-cylinder hybrid uses Toyota's latest generation hybrid system, and I think it offers powerful driving, excellent fuel efficiency, and environmental performance.
It's quiet and easy to drive, comparable to a Lexus.

I love my '24 Limited with Advanced Tech (which reduced insurance costs) and 21" wheels in Heavy Metal. It's better than I expected. I had a '23 XLE and enjoyed it, too.

I keep my Toyotas for a long time. 2001 Solara I sold in 2013. 2013 Avalon V6 Limited with 2 tone light interior and tech pkg. I was looking at the Crown. There is very little about the styling in / out that I got excited about. Then the pricing. I could maybe see the Limited at $45,000 but the Platinum at $54,000 is just stupid money. A Lexus Fully load ES 350 is the same or less. I didn't want the harsh ride of those 21 inch wheels either.
So - The Avalon only had 44,000 miles. It was 10 years and I knew an individual buy may have a hard time getting financing. Thus harder for me to sell. The Avalon was in near mint condition.
At the end on Nov. with the used market starting drop and dealers starting to mark down in stock autos. I bought an 2024 ES 350 fully loaded base. Sticker was $50,600. Paid $47,000 pre-tax with $15,000 for the Avalon.
I could have kept the Avalon for another 10 years but since Toyota / Lexus starred selling only hybrids on some models, it was time to get the V6. I maybe put 5,000 miles on a year. This will probably be my last new car. If I bought a hybrid and was going to keep it 10 years or more. I was worried about having to replace the battery and my savings would be that great because of the low mileage.
I ended up with a black on black car. I love the ride and features but hate the color. I enjoyed getting into my Avalon everyday for 10 years. My only complaint was the harsh suspension on the 2013 - 2015 models. I wish I waited just 1 more day. Dec. 1st the next city over had exactly the car I wanted. Dark blue with Bamboo interior and Limited model with the few extra options I cared about. I was heartbroken. The only thing I didn't want was that car was the ES 300h.
Why does Lexus have a build you own Lexus site if you can't really custom order a Lexus? I mean for the money, it's a crime. Remember that in Nov. 2023 Lexus stock was limited. The dealers didn't want to give up and allocated car for a build that Lexus may actually never build. I think some are more accommodating today.

The Platinum Trim that I optioned out (Bronze Age with Black bi-tone) the way I'd like, was $56,258 😮! This price build was based on my location in North Texas 🤠; Dallas/Fort Worth. Haven't seen any Crowns on the road, yet. Too expensive I guess 😂! I currently drive a 2004 Camry LE 4cyl with 60K miles; guess I'll hold on to it for a while longer. Nice Crown review 👍! 👏💪🙏

I'm hoping that the lift back version (if it exists) comes to the U.S.
It can be my "big Prius" to replace my 2013 Prius.
I want the good fuel economy of the car shape with some of the utility of a wagon.
For serious wagon duty I have a minivan.
I believe Japan currently gets a lift back model.

Great car that is not selling. No gas option not helping. They need gas + FWD option….lower price will help a lot.

Price tags are absolutely hurting it. Too many other options that people can afford easier. Thank you for watching!

I thought the sedan was only available for 2023 & 2024 and that the 2025 is only available in the wagon!! Really??

The JDM crown looks better than this glorified prius.
