I ate at this restaurant around three months ago. No joke, the best barbecue I’ve ever eaten. The brisket MELTED in your mouth, I didn’t really chew at all. Super memorable. I haven’t gone since because it’s only open thursdays and saturdays and it’s very busy but I would totally recommend. As a vietnamese person though, the Asian inspired side dishes weren’t very good but the barbecue was great!

Once we setup and are ready to sell we have almost a dozen pre-orders. They don’t show up until about 20-30 minutes later when the food is getting cold. I appreciate the business, but I hate that they let the food sit there.

As someone who loves barbeque, and tried just about all the Texas joint's everyone raves about including Franklins, I would like to see more different flavor profiles... I don't want every new pitmaster to just try the same "salt and pepper" and try to mimic someone like Franklin's... if that happened, we'd get the same BBQ flavor profile everywhere in the US and that's definitely not what you would want in the food industry... you gotta innovate and try new

I'm friends with this guy's brother. Eaten there a couple of times and it's legit. Definitely one of the best BBQ joints in Houston.
